Mall is great. But their paid basement parking is a complete ripoff!! Do not park there as their parking rates are very high.
Park after Fanar Mall, ample parking space!

Very very bad specially toilet cleaners not doing job. All toilets are dirty and full of dirty waters. Everytime I visit I see them,They are there watching mobiles and talking in phone. Over all other things are good.

A nice mall
Al Fanar Mall is nice and is not too busy these days because of all the other bigger newer Malls, but I still like visiting it, it has good dining and nice food court. Also its quite centrally located in Salmiya.

As a millennial, I can't think of Al Fanar Mall without reminiscing sweet memories of the past. One of the oldest and first malls to open in Salmiya, Al-Fanar was the perfect destination for both families and friends. The place nowadays is peaceful and calm, which doesn't reflect what it used to be in the past. Personally, I like visiting it in the morning, particularly for such vibes, with huge skylights illuminating the mall. You can have a nice morning coffee or breakfast there in one of the mall's coffee houses (Joy, Caribou, Starbucks, etc.). But, there's much more to do as well, like dining in one of the mall's restaurants (e.g., Entrecôte steakhouse and Shake Shack burger chain). One of the most popular activities to do in Al Fanar is watching movies in Cinescape cinema. I noticed that many people prefer watching movies here despite all the new theaters in Kuwait having much better screen technology formats. I think it's mainly because of the less crowded and good location. Furthermore, they've opened a couple of kids' playgrounds on the upper floor recently. Overall, even after all these years, I still like to go to Al Fanar every now and then. It's refreshing to be able to hang out and shop away from the hustle and bustle of The Avenues :)
