I arrived with all original documents to order new foreign passport having usual list of documents.
The door was opened and I was invited inside. I was waiting for my turn, then was asked to present copies of passport and BRP. They have such rules just for this Consulate. I didn't have it as I had come with original. I asked could they copy for me for money? Answer was no. I asked could I come little later until I make copies somewhere outdoor? No. I was immediately deleted from queue and next person was invited.
I spent 6 hours to reach London, moving back without any result. It is a shame if you can't support people and provide services just in the building. And for sure it's not digital country when you require copies of presented original documents and refusing to provide services against absence of copies.

For a start, they dont offer walkins like it says on their website and just tell you to go away when you turn up. Not even a secretary to talk to and get you booked in etc. Seriously understaffed or just not bothered?
Tried calling-in to make an appointment and lady on the phone adviced me that I need to go to ukraine to get some document in order to be able to book an appointment in london consulate, as they require you to have some specific documents to book an appointment. Seriously?! I just need an appointment to submit some documents, still trying to arrange it after a week of trying.
