Princess Cruises.
My friends raved about Princess so I decided to take a Pacific Coastal Cruise. Boy, was that a mistake.
I sailed on the Sapphire Princess. We dined in the Vivaldi dining room every night and we had one out of 10 meals that were palatable. Service was great food was not. We decided to go to the buffet for breakfast and was that a mistake. Peanut butter was in a bowl in the open where everyone could breath on it. I asked for the little packet and the server told me they don't have those anymore as Princess was trying to save money. We wanted to try the buffet one night instead of Vivaldi and couldn't believe the Chinese stir fry. Vegetables were see through and soggy. I heard others complaining about the salt content.
Our stateroom toilet was not working. After I called room service 3 times I decided to walk upstairs to use the washroom. Its a good thing I'm in shape to walk up two flights of stairs I wonder what physically challenged people would access a toilet in a hurry.
All and All service was good but we will not take another cruise with Princess.

We spent 14 nights on the Grand Princess round-trip to Alaska starting from Vancouver. The staff, food and amenities were great! I loved the international Cafe that was open 24 hrs and the quality of the food in the sit down restaurants. Great seafood and dessert options! I loved the Game Shows, Trivia and the Grand Princess dancers and singers. Overall, I would cruise again with Princess cruises.
