Balan's Bistro

A nice vegan restaurant. Casual atmosphere. Very busy when we went so only seats were in the courtyard, luckily no one was smoking. The burgers were good and everything was fresh.

All vegan and great. I really enjoy their daily menu dishes (changing every week with some favorites that are appearing regularly). A la carte is interesting, as well.

AMAZING restaurant! The food was SO good - tempeh from the “veggie bagel” (jarný) blew our minds. The staff is very friendly and willing to accommodate.

The beetroot ravioli and quesedilla were amazing 😍 it was soooo tasty! The flavour banged so hard 😂 we loved it.

If you're looking for a vegan restaurant serving more than just salads, I highly recommend checking out the one I recently visited. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the calm and funky decorations that gave the space a fun and inviting vibe.

But let's talk about the food. The yummy burritos were a standout dish for me - they were packed with flavour and left me feeling satisfied and energised. And the coffee was also top-notch.

Nice vegan café with gluten free options. I was there on a Monday, so they only offered part of the menu. I chose the sloppy Joe with homemade fermented lemonade and after that a ginger tea. The lemonade was amazing. The sloppy Joe was way too salty for my taste, but I like how they got creative with the lentil-based “minced meat”. I paid 20€ in total for this lunch.

I've read many reviews of this place and it came highly recommended by someone so I guess maybe my expectations were just too high. There were four of us. We had the sloppy joe, the Cuban, the quesadilla, and the schnitzel burger. I had the schnitzel burger and was not impressed at all. The menu described it as "crispy" but what I got was as opposite of crispy as one could imagine. It was soggy and mushy. I felt as if I was eating a wet, mushy sandwich. The person who ordered the quesadilla only ate half of it and couldn't eat more, it was no good. Apparently the Cuban was okay. The sloppy joe was the best meal. The seating was terribly uncomfortable. It was definitely not the best vegan experience I've had.
