A very nice place to just sit, relax, and read a book on a late afternoon. There a plenty of seats, and not a lot of people (at least during my visit), so it was very relaxing. ^_^
A nice place to stroll around from the arc de triomph leading to the aqueduct.
The main square has a large equestrian statue of Louis XIV in the middle.
This is the highest point in Montpellier and has stunning views across the city.
There are plenty of seating areas for relaxing and is well worth a visit to take in the stunning views of the city

Quiet and peaceful before 10am. Locals walking, jogging, doing tai chi, working out, taking in the fresh morning air and enjoying the sun rising over Montpellier through the towers of the St Pierre Cathédrale and the spire of Saint Anne.
Beautiful spot up high with sweeping views and cool breezes. Doesn’t really open at 730 tho - most stalls are still setting up at 9. Great organic pastries with a decent selection of items for sale.
