It is on the Platform 10 side of the Bangalore City railway station.
The Metro station is underground and connected to the main railway station and thence to the City and Inter- & Intra- State bus stands on the Platform 1 side, by skywalk and subway.

Recently visited the metro station. One of the most helpful metro stations in the city for those who are traveling to other cities by train. If you are traveling from North Bangalore or Purple line from Baiyappanhalli, get down to this station to go to majestic railway station or SBC. You can get off the metro and exit on side A to go towards Indian Railways and walk via a connecting bridge to the railway station. It connects platform 1 to 10 through this bridge and it's 5 mins walk if you take this bridge. This metro station also connects to Minerva road too.

Proud to be in Bangalore, the only Indian city which has all four kinds of transport within walking distance. Railway-City buses- Suburb and Out station buses- Metro; well planned transport hub for the city dwellers traveling east or west of Bangalore. Just few yards from city railway station, connected by underground tunnels, lift and stairs. Cleanly maintained, and staff are carefully attending, except on ocassion they don't have change for the money you give.
