I’d read a blog stating that this place was less touristy than some in Assisi and had good food and we weren’t disappointed.

We sat in the entrance archway which has the most stunning 16th century mural on the ceiling. The waitress, who I assume was the owner was very welcoming. The starters (primi) of pasta were lovely and big enough to be main courses. Main courses were rabbit, suckling pig and guinea fowl, all of which were excellent. The wine recommendations were also good.

For a place in the centre of a tourist hotspot this is an excellent find, clearly favoured by locals. Highly recommended.

Really bad service, more than 30 mins just to take order, then waited another 30 mins for a plate of potatoes that was nearly empty. And all of that for an outrageous price.
The only good thing was the view of the church.
Never again I will visit this place and I recommend others also don't.

A local gem located in the heart of Assisi old town - friendly staff and decent price, especially considering the location. We had eggplant with cheese, capellini (a local type of pasta) with pork, and stuffed dove (piccione alla ghiotta - also a local specialty of Umbria region). All were rich in flavour, we can highly recommend this trattoria!

Our experience was an absolute delight. Not only did they offer a fantastic selection of dishes, but their prices were ok. The restaurant's prime location in the heart of the city made it easily accessible, and I was pleasantly surprised by the impeccable customer service.
