Place where heritage boat tour starts. 169 rs each. Totally worth it but the music was too loud for my taste. I would suggest taking the early departure on weekends. With the weekday ones at 6, the sun sets right at departure. It is amazing going under howrah bridge sipping a tea.

I recently had the opportunity to visit the West Bengal Tourism Jetty at New Babughat, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. The jetty is located in a prime location, with stunning views of the Hooghly river.
The jetty is well-maintained and clean, with a spacious waiting area and a variety of boats available for hire. The staff at the jetty were friendly and helpful, making the entire experience pleasant and hassle-free.
One of the highlights of my visit was taking a ride on one of the boats. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the captain was very knowledgeable about the history of the river and the surrounding area. The views from the boat were breathtaking, and I was able to capture some stunning photos.
The jetty also offers a range of other activities, such as river cruises and sightseeing tours, which I unfortunately did not have time to experience. However, based on my experience, I would definitely recommend checking out these options as well.
