Interesting museum for a brief understanding of this 228 history of Taiwan. Admitting 228 is a good "first step" for Taiwan, but far from allowing Taiwanese from coming to terms to this part of history. Taiwan government owes Taiwanese an answer to 'what happens to those ordering and executing 228'? Similar examples like the Cultural Revolution, Holocaust, etc. other than providing an official apology there were also trials and prosecutions. When will Taiwan 228 trials and prosecutions be??!!
An informative museum on Taiwan’s military repression presenting a nice way to learn about the past.
A very interesting (and free) museum covering an important part of Taiwanese history perhaps unfamiliar to visitors. Unfortunately, foreigners will have a difficult time accessing it as most of the material is only in Mandarin, with only occasional English sections. If you are unable to read Mandarin a guide or use of Google Translate would be recommended.
The main exhibition is really impressive and shows an important part of Taiwan History.
The only downside is, that the additional exhibitions are only in Chinese.
Would be nice to give at least some insight in future exhibitions.

Come visit if you want to learn about Taiwan history. It’s a shame that most of the materials are in Chinese, but it’s really worth a visit.
