Great choice of rooms to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful for newcomers. We played Immortal which was very challenging but fun.

I have done a room at both sites and both were just as terrible as each other. The rooms are very dated and just pad lock style escape rooms. Overall a bit boring and bland. I would recommend escape hunt for a good escape room.

Unfortunately multiple of our locks had been changed to the wrong combinations- so we spent a great deal of time fiddling until we found they were numbers nearish the answers and found little help from the cues leading to a rather unsatisfying escape. However, our host was absolutely lovely.

While I have done a few escape rooms in various cities before, some of my friends on our visit to this location hadn’t. The Magic Emporium was a great introduction for a group of mixed experience. Our games master Han was funny throughout and provided just the right level of hints.

I've done a lot of escape rooms in Blackpool, MK and Manchester now and I've found despite the decent reviews on here in general, it isn't the best escape room, whilst the staff are nice, the games themselves lack atmosphere and flow, I've done two with this company and I feel they could be much better. I feel Breakout gets such good reviews due to lots of peoples first time doing escape rooms, if you've done a lot like myself from other companies you will be disappointed overall

Edited to be 4 Star from 3. Gave the company another chance and was more impressed (3rd escape room with breakout) would recommend zombie lab!

This was a really good experience.
We had a group, age ranging from 13-46, and we all contributed to solving the puzzles in each room.
It felt great to escape at the end.
We are definitely going to go back to try the other rooms.

We came last week and really enjoyed ourselves. We accidentally went to the wrong venue however a lovely male staff member took us to the right one. We did the cursed carnival room and it was great! We will definitely be coming back again in the future

One of the best escape rooms I have been to. Staff were really friendly and approachable. Offer Clues if you get stuck, the place and atmosphere were immaculate and reasonable priced especially for Manchester. Highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
