Incredibly scenic area which has everything you would want from a national park. Perfect place for hiking, biking or walking. Parking is never a real struggle except on bank holidays as most locations have parking nearby and even if full there will be another carpark a couple of miles away allowing you to bike or hike to your destination.
Plenty of pubs which all serve good food and drinks, pricing in a few can be a little steep but we've never felt it wasn't worth the money.
Plenty of food options with the obvious choices like Matlock having plenty of Fish and Chips shops, Bakewell having a few bakeries and cafes and farm shops scattered all over the district.

Amazing place to be with nature. So beautiful walking trails and surroundings . We went with family and friends and our little Yorkshire terrier,she loved there .
Very beautiful place. Unfortunately, it was absolutely freezing 🥶 so I probably didn't get the best from it . There were a lot of fell runners, and the scenery was stunning .

Amazing scenery, one of England's most beautiful places. Miles of unspoilt scenery, you can walk for miles and enjoy the views or just do short walks, something for everyone. Just a few photos here which doesn't do the Peak District justice. There is so much more...! If you like quaint country pubs, shops, cafés then this is your place. The weather you can never guarantee so you can head to one of the local villages or check what's going on locally.
