We were there during the Chinese new year event. It was beautiful and we had a good experience. It’s nice to se a place full of other cultures and habits. If you go there, choose a restaurant that you can “live” the culture and learn a little bit.
The best Chinatown I have visited anywhere. Decorations everywhere, friendly people and many smiling faces greet you to enter the restaurants. The food is very good and has large portions.
Love this place. As a Chinese living in a smaller city in the US that doesn’t have a dedicated Chinatown, this is like godsend. Very pretty overall, clean and orderly, unlike some of the Chinatown I have been to in NYC or LA. There are an overwhelming amount of choices for Chinese food here, so I am sure you can find something you will like. We had a group dinner here and everyone had a great time. Highly recommend it.
A vibrant vista with a unique cultural mix. The market here is always a treat, brimming with an array of enticing food stalls. The authentic Asian souvenirs are quite a steal. It can get crowded, but it’s part of the charm. Care for a little hustle and bustle? This is your place. The visually striking oriental architecture is a bonus. Found some great bubble tea spots too!
I have visited a lot of Chinatown in many cities. The Chinatown in London is the best one I like the most. Better than San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. The Chinatown in London is clean and organized, and the stores and restaurants are better than any Chinatown I have visited. I enjoyed walking around in Chinatown in London.
Visiting Chinatown is always a delight. I love the colours and atmosphere! Plus, there are many great shops and restaurants. It isn't the least expensive place to eat in the city, but the experience is so worth the price. I particularly love the sweets shops that sell various treats and yummy breads! Overall, I highly recommend stopping here during a trip to London - it's definitely worth a visit, even if you just walk through the area once.
My visit to Chinatown was delightful, with vibrant Chinese markets, diverse shopping districts, and authentic restaurants that truly immersed me in the cultural experience. The atmosphere made me feel like I was in China itself. However, a downside was the occasional unpleasant smell in some markets. Navigating by car proved challenging due to limited parking, making public transport a more convenient option, despite the pricey £10 per hour car park in Chinatown.
