Good place to visit entrance fee is around 3 omr but the view of ocean and road from the top of the fort is mesmerising
On the top of Omani landmarks in Muscat. It is a must-see attraction. Best time to visit evening 1 house before the sunset.

Firstly parking is free... i parked on one of the side roads but Al Alam have there own parking. Not much to do there other than take pictures of Al Alam parking. Id also recommend going into the museum which is 5 ryials. For the air conditioning alone was worth going in for!
Amazing views from the fort in all directions, nicely renovated. The cafe is also good with good coffee. The date cake was delicious. There is lift access all the way the coffee shop. But stairs to the top floor. Highly recommended. But be careful with the stairs, there is a risk of tripping in some of them. I wish they have better lighting and more signs for the stairs to avoid accidents

My recent visit to Al Mirani Fort was a delightful experience overall. The entrance fee of 3 OMR for adults is quite reasonable, allowing easy access to explore the historical site. The ambiance of the coffee shop within the fort was cozy, and the prices were surprisingly affordable, making it an inviting spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee.
The view from the fort was simply stunning, offering picturesque scenes that added to the charm of the visit. However, it's worth noting that the place tends to get crowded, especially on weekends, which may detract from the tranquility of the setting. Additionally, the lack of sufficient parking lots can be a hassle, especially during peak hours.

New fort opened in Muscat near Al Alam Castle. Al Mirani Fort opened for the first time to public since more than 400 years ago. The ticket cost 3 OMR. Inclusive everything inside such as Omani bread, Omani Halwa and other things. Also, there is a cafe where you can order a coffee after exploring the fort. The place is new it needs more development some rooms are empty and not utilized. The view to the castle is amazing and also to the Al Galali fort and the sea. I recommend visiting the place evening or close to sunset time to enjoy the colorful view of the sky. Moreover, the lightings at night are annoying to the eye it is not friendly.
