Went specifically for Rothko exhibition and was very pleased. Huge collection was displayed in 11 big rooms. Building itself is modern and very interesting, beautiful views from the tarace. Overall highly recommend

Beautiful space, be sure to check out the roof top for amazing views of the surrounding area and Tour Eiffel. Also be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time if possible to avoid the line. It can get busy.

I have been coming to Paris for many reasons for many years, but this was my first time here at this spectacular venue! the design is so sympathetic to its surrounding and view points, the art on display was fantastic and there is a cheap shuttle service, too. The Rothko exhibition is what I went for and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back! There is a free cloak room so please leave your bigs bags etc and walk around comfortably.

Ho visitato la Fondazione Louis Vuitton in occasione della mostra di Rothko. Un'architettura che ricorda una barca a vele spiegate. Ai piani alti dalle terrazze è possibile godere dello skyliner di Parigi. La mostra del grande artista Rothko è assolutamente da vedere: sono presenti le sue opere più importanti in un ambiente che riesce a farle respirare.

I saw the Mark Rothko retrospective and was amazed. I’m glad the Building dedicated 10+(?) galleries to the work. We went on a Friday morning and it seemed to get busier as we left.
Truly a once in a lifetime experience to see this physically, historically, and enigmatically massive collection of pieces. Certain paintings were grouped as they were shown elsewhere, for example, the set from the Tate in London, but the rooms lined with work from all over the globe was very nice.
Rothko himself never saw his work celebrated to this extent, he might have enjoyed it.
I’m sure I won’t be able to see his work gathered and shown like this again in my lifetime. The Foundation did a great job of giving the work the space it needed. Rooms varied in size and illumination, I enjoyed the contrast.
The show had more paintings than I expected and I was truly impressed with the presentation.

The building was perfect, allowing for gigantic and intimate spaces. I was surprised the price of admission was cheaper than I expected, worth the money, I have paid more for less impressive shows.

I wish I could see the show a second time. Highly recommend seeing this show.

In zona un po’ periferica ma collegato benissimo al centro, l’edificio della
fondazione Vuitton è un capolavoro di architettura del celebre Gehry. Al suo interno è poi allestita in questi primi mesi del 2024, una splendida e ricca mostra dedicata al pittore Rothko: da non perdere per chi ama questo talentuoso artista. Gli spazi espositivi sono concepiti con gusto e funzionalità. Posto magnifico dove trascorrere una mezza giornata. Intorno ci sono svariati cantieri aperti, forse anche in vista delle imminenti olimpiadi. Ma prima o poi, sarà tutto sistemato.
