Schöner Brunnen mit einer Statue vom heiligen Magnus von Füssen, welcher mit einem Kreuz, den Drachen als Symbol des Bösen bezwang.

Erbaut wurde er 1968 von Alois Vogler.
Laut der Allgäu GmbH, ist der Brunnen am gleichen Standort wie auch der ehemalige Brunnen aus dem Mittelalter.

Amazing castle right at the centre of the old town - large defensive walls, cobblestone entrance with several gates. Entry in free, however, some places are locked off. Definitely worth climbing up and enjoying the views.

Very nice castle to visit while in Fussen. It was built in iterations starting with an “illegal” fortification in the 12th C. It houses art installations and it is also interesting to climb to the battlements and up the tower. There are great views of the cit and surrounding area that shout it be missed. Next to this impressive castle is a beautiful park with benches and views of the river far below. 45 minutes is all you need in the castle before you continue your exploration of the city. Have Fun!

A GREAT PLACE FOR CHILDREN! The best view of Füssen!

The castle itself isn't as impressive as other castles, but the art gallery celebrates wonderful artists and their contributions. It is possible to walk up to the top of one of the towers and access a spectacular view of the town of Füßen and spectacular nearby scenery.
