Awesome little cafe - stopped by for some coffee and pastries during the day. Lots of small things to chose from, definitely recommend for some fresh pastries, and splendid coffee.

Neat fountain right in the middle of the old town market.

Very beautiful botanical garden with free entry to roam around; there's plenty of easy access routes to get in. Some smaller paths leading around the main building and grassy areas, benches. Highly recommended if in the area to enjoy the scenery here, as it's very well maintained.

Fantastic waterfront area of Cologne, with a small park, several walking and biking paths that connect the shoreline between the two bridges. Connects to several paths that lead into the city. Many lovely restaurants and cafe's along the path.

Fantastic place and idea for a beer garden - plenty of things to offer at decent prices. There's a food truck right outside the garden, with standard foods like sausages. Highly recommend coming here to enjoy the river breeze.
