Stopped in after a ridiculously early morning for some grub and didn’t disappoint. Food was great (strawberries were really juicy and sweet!), service was lovely and prompt, quiet little place with very chill vibes. Would recommend!

(Update)
We caved and got the scones at the end of our meal, and I have no regrets. Perfectly fluffy and delicious, and such a generous portion too! No pictures unfortunately, as we gobbled it down too quickly xD

Great little spot in Edinburgh to grab a lunch. The meal deal (sandwich, chips, and drink) for £6 was a great option for us. A lovely staff.
It's probably the worst grills I had ever!
Too much spices, too much sauces, the wrap doesn't hold up due to the amount of sauces in it.
Great outdoor seating overlooking the train. Staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a great refuge for a homesick American! Too bad they couldn’t use local baked goods though.

The scones with fruit were amazing! Freshly baked and so delicious. Their waffles look really good too. The staff were super friendly. I wish I lived closer.
Saw a video on YouTube recently so decided to give it a try, very reasonable, good portions, absolutely delicious, large doner and a mixed kebab,,only a slight moan but the food was not hot and I found several chicken bones in my mixed, would try again if passing.

The girls there are so nice and the food is really good. I recommend booking online so you know you'll get a spot as it's def popular
We had a wonderful time at Wedgwood! The food all was excellent and beautifully presented. The service truly was outstanding, everyone was so friendly and caring — it really made for such a pleasant meal. The restaurant itself is super cozy and not too loud, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!
We booked in advance and glad we did a small and very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We were served with a small throughout, and staff were knowledgeable about the food. Hubby and I ate vegetarian, so not much choice, but what we chose was delicious and looked beautiful on the plate. Ohhh the plalette cleanser was delicious 😋 starters, mains and dessert all high class and tasted amazing. We would defo go neck back!

The place is cute and vibrant
The waffles look amazing but they dont taste amazing, they are okay, the scones tasted much better
Coffees are great
The staff is friendly
We were deciding where to eat when I stumbled on this restaurant while searching for the closest one from our location. We were greeted with a smile and had a table set up even though the restaurant was packed. The food was delicious. We were a party of five including two kids. Scallops, golden beetroot, and aubergine fritters for the starters. Then we went with chicken, cod, monkfish, and roasted cauliflower for the mains finishing off with chocolate sachertorte and passion fruit semifreddo. Very pleased with the service. Do put this on your list if you are In Edinburgh.

Prawn toast - excellent, sweet and sour chicken - great, special curry - great, but whatever you do dont get the satay chicken - very watery, onions added to bulk it up, not a peanut in sight!
Went here twice and both times, I found seats. Unless it's peak hours, you'll probably easily find seats which is rare and nice.
Beautiful Scottish restaurant, located on the east side of the city. Locally sourced ingredients, exceptionally prepared with a modern unexpected twist, for example, a light flavoursome curry making an appearance on a couple of occasions. Quaint and classy setting. Wonderful staff walking you through the experience.
I had an utterly delightful Easter Sunday lunch with my daughter at Wedgwood. Fantastic service!

My wife and I decided to pop by here for breakfast a couple of weeks ago, and boy, are we glad we did. We luckily managed to get a last minute booking as it was quite busy. The café itself exudes an earthy charm, filled with home-grown plants, creating a welcoming ambiance. The staff were welcoming on arrival and accommodating throughout our visit. The menu has a great selection from your usual go to breakfasts/lunches, to some more unique options. Thankfully the menu wasn’t too vast that and it was manageable to choose.
For drinks we got a couple of smoothies. Both were excellent and flavoursome. For food my wife went with the full Scottish. They forgot the beans but it was quickly rectified. My wife couldn’t complain about her breakfast. Everything was cooked well and tasted great. I probably would’ve preferred more runny beans which you could lather the other food in but she quite likes the thicker beans. I was a greedy chops and got 2 items. Firstly I had the toasted brioche roll with Pork sausage, tattie scone and sriracha mayo. This was simple but so amazing!! Bun was crispy on the outer and soft centre. The mayo just hit the spot, yum yum! Easily the best breakfast roll I’ve ever had. I was drawn to the lumberjack French toast so I also indulged into this as well. The toast was like slabs - so thick! The smothering sauce was delicious. Amazing texture and wonderful taste.
Overall a tremendous breakfast and experience. Very satisfied.

I was a regular customer, I told the woman I ordered something by accident online but I would still pay for it. She rudely told me I'm the only person with a problem with there app, when she doesn't know I'm currently going for MRI and neurology so I get mixed up some time. As I said I fully intended to pay, when I said to her " you don't care about your customers at all do you?" Her reply was a flat out "no"
Seems well thought of but Google insists that I review the place and won't dismiss the request based on me walking past it regularly though given how long it's been there it's likely to be at least very acceptable, I just don't think that carry out food represents good value recently.

I've been a customer for over 26 years and have always had excellent meals, travel through regularly from the West to get our favourites and the one and only best in scotland smoked shredded chicken and it's exactly the same from 199x thank goodness!!! Thank you for being able to continue to stay in business, we look forward to if/when sit in is available again....maybe one or two days a week??🌸

Got a takeaway right after the calcuta cup rugby match. Was served in a efficient manner by friendly happy staff. Didn't have very long to wait at all. Food was delicious. We had wafer wrapped prawns followed by beef, green pepper with black bean sauce and fried rice. Highly recommended.

I’ve had food from here before and it was great. I tried to do the right thing and order delivery directly from the restaurant. It’s now half an hour late, despite the driver having the food an hour ago according to the limited info on the ordering page. I live 10 minutes away. I’m hungry, annoyed and I want to go to bed soon. If it does turn up it’ll likely be cold. If you order from here use Just Eat or Deliveroo or something, they’re evil but at least they deliver the food.
Mixed Grill kebab is quite possibly the best kebab I have ever had. We took a huge diversion on way home to get this and were not disappointed. It may not look much from the outside, but if you appreciate a kebab you will be in your element. The main guy is also a gent. Great value for great food 👍 👏 😋
Never disappoints. Food always good, and always ready on time. Have been coming here since 2012 and will keep coming back. Just as an aside, I gave five stars for atmosphere, but it's takeaway only, so not sure why it's even relevant... I did once walk in to see five armed police in there. I had mild panic until one of them said 'chicken chow mein, no onions'. That was quite atmospheric.

We find the food wonderfully delicious and have been ordering from them for years. However, their delivery is terrible, always late. If you do order, please order 3 hours in advance.
Do yourself a favour and order from somewhere else.
We ordered 2 hours ago, the order was despatched with the driver after an hour, taking an hour to get here (we live 15 mins away), the food arrived cold and stale. When I phoned the restaurant to asked where the order was I was fobbed off. The Thai green curry was absolutely flavourless - plain veg and chicken with some watery green flavourless sauce. The curry sauce had set because it was so cold. Very very disappointed by a place that we have ordered food from many times before. We won't be back!
Grabbing a quick halal doner kebab. Easy to spot from main road.

From the food to the service, this place is the cutest. Their waffles and Cajun pasta was 10/10 and as busy as they were, the service was extremely efficient. And I personally stared at every plate coming out to confirm the consistency of this. The staff puts a lot of soul and heart into this and it shows. Wholesome vibes.

Ordered food for collection just for one of the items to be messed up when I opened it up at home. Instead of Special Chow mein, I got Special fried rice. Upon phoning up the restaurant, didn't get any apology but was asked if I can bring it back and collect special chow mein. Again no apology was offered at the shop and the staff asked for the special fried rice to be returned which made me wonder if they'll be shifting it to another customer as well as if my original order was made to order? The food itself wasn't that great, too dry and tasteless. Definitely not for me, doubt I'll be going there again.
Never ever again!
The kebab meat was just warmed up, not freshly grilled. The shawarma have had way to much sauce and the pizza was not from fresh dough and tasteless. Three of these dishes and two canned drinks costed us 31,-£.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone. Don't understand who wrote the five star reviews..
Great food and very good service. My partner took me here for my birthday Christmas lunch.Definitely a place to go if you want to treat somebody special.

Unfortunately it wasn’t the best dining experience. We went for lunch for a birthday celebration. Firstly, and very importantly, it’s Scotland, it’s winter, please heat your restaurant. A small electric radiator is not sufficient and sitting wearing my coat to eat my food is not the experience I expected.

The food was okay but sorry to say it lacked flavour. The cod dish was overpowered by salt. My husband had the turkey dinner which probably was a better option. On a positive note there was no scrimping on the bread and the desserts were divine (not a dessert fan usually so kudos).

When the bill came we had accidentally been charged £40 for a bottle of wine which we had not ordered. This was promptly removed with no fuss.

Overall it was an average experience which was a shame as I had been looking forward to eating here for a while.

Was in Edinburgh for a day and found this place off Google when searching for halal near the Waverley station.

The gentleman who served me was very friendly and welcoming. He advised me on the lunch deal - a chicken wrap and chicken (perfect choice for a cold day)

The tables were clean and neat, the food tasty and filling considering the price (£5 for a lunch deal) and the customer service was excellent.

As I was a sit in, I observed regular customers coming in and it’s evident that there’s a good rapport built.

Would recommend a visit to locals and people visiting.
The New Town Deli has a large outdoor seating area positioned on a wide paved corner which allows customers to bask in the sunshine in a chilled and spacious environment.

We ordered flatbread with falafel/hummus/roast peppers/cholula and breakfast burrito chorizo/scrambled eggs/mull cheddar/jalapeno/spinach. The burrito came, not as a flour tortilla, but as a dish served on another flatbread. Overall, the dishes were quite enjoyable. The base sauces lifted the dishes and the salads contained good flavours and textures. They were sufficiently different from other menus that we would try these combinations again.

The flatbreads were hard to cut; non-sharp knives or rubbery flatbread? The falafel was a bit too greasy. The table tops were wooden strips with large gaps which meant any dropped food {which in our case is usually plentiful} goes straight down to the pavement along with your cutlery if you are not too careful.

We ordered 2 flat whites which came with some fun Halloween theme froth and we had a peanut nut blondie. We would reorder the flat whites but the blondie; probably not. It tried to be too many things and missed out on the gooey texture and peanut butter flavour.

Would we go again; yes. The savoury dishes offered some interesting combinations, the coffees were consistent and good, and there was a large enough choice of cakes for us to try another one.

After we happened on the Wee Coffee Bar one morning we ended up coming back for breakfast almost every day of our stay. The food is excellent and the coffee is great. (I personally recommend the lorne sausage pattie roll with brown sauce). What truly made this place special was Sharon. She is exceedingly kind and clearly cares about her customers and is interested in their well being. The number of smiling regulars from the area coming and going is evidence of her treatment of everyone. Bottom line, it's a well run and much appreciated coffee shop that we will miss. However, looking forward to the day when we can return for visit and a coffee.

Had a particularly large order last night. Everything was fresh, hot, and of beautiful quality and they don't seem to use msg. Great value too. Highly recommended.
Lovely café that serves breakfast & brunch: artisan bread, croissants and pastries, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, coffee and tea. Great to start your day with. Also you can buy a bag with discounted products in the end of the day through the app 'Too good to go'. Real treat!
The food was so good we had breakfast there 2 days in a row while on vacation. Highly recommend the cheese, leek and potato pasty. Delicious!! The pastries and bread are also very good. We even tried the vegetarian haggis, which was also very tasty.10/10
Delicious and really big coffee. Nice breakfast and absolutely friendly
Had a really great lunch here - fab veggie/vegan options, and delicious coffee & cakes. It was a busy afternoon when I visited but the solo Barista did a an awesome job serving everyone quickly. Excellent customer service, definitely recommend.

Authentic Cantonese cuisine. We had brought seafood to be cooked at restaurants plus ordered some from the menu.
