That was amazing ! The best service and food of Köln!
Wir können nur gute Worte über das Atelier verlieren. Vor allem die Getränkeauswahl war top. Die Empfehlung vom Chef einen MaiThai zu nehmen um schnell einen guten Pegel zu erreichen war von Erfolg gekrönt.

Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in der Hanse Stube! Das Essen war absolut spitze, die Gans war ein kulinarisches Kunstwerk. Das Ambiente des Restaurants war erlesen und einladend, perfekt für einen besonderen Anlass. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den exzellenten Service, der unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Ich kann dieses feine Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch!
Exzellentes Restaurant. Alles vom Feinsten ohne Makel. Ein in sich abgeschlossenes Erlebnis. Die Rechnung bezahlt man dann auch gern!
Absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Köln: Tolles Essen, tolles Team, tolle Atmosphäre.
Food is pretty good. The baked sheep's cheese was a highlight as were the lamb meatballs. I'd probably skip the hummus and the fish cakes next time. The wine was exceptional and worth coming back for in its own right (Petit ModAT'mour, based on which I'd happily sample the rest of their offerings).

Es war ein wunderbarer Abend und wir hatten das 3 Gänge Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Das Essen war köstlich, die fachkundige Erklärung zum jeweils ausgewählten Wein sehr unterhaltsam. Der herzliche Service ist eines der Highlights im maison blue.
Nice and well prepared and presented food. Clearly at the pricier end. We did not try the quite expensive meat options, so I can‘t say if they are worth the money. Everything we tasted was absolutely decent and flawless but not exactly a bargain. The wine list is great and not overpriced. Staff is completely awesome. Very cute and sweet and always being attentive and service oriented. All of them make this a very decent dining option in the area and made me write an adulation.

The food was very good and the owner very gentle. The style is in between French and oriental cuisine, an interesting combination!
After many weeks of waiting for a table at the weekend we visited Acht on Nov 17.
The food was nice, the foie grass Cornetto was maybe the highlight. The Islandic Schellfisch was good, not special for its 42€, similar about the pulpo with 38€.
The wine pairing we requested was balanced.
The service was very passive. We needed to ask for all. Bread was just put on the table w/o any information. Wine was poured very sloppy w/o any details/explanations. The water served was charged with a not so uncommon outrageous at 7,50€/bottle.
Based on all positive reviews of this place, we do not share these views in the light of service in particular in a restaurant that want to be in the upper range.
We will not come back and eat rather in other places.

Definitely not coming back! They overcharged us three bottles of water (we didn’t notice until we left the place) and overall it was really not worth the price, food was very tasty but the main meal was so plain and tasteless, and just a bit of a disappointing overall experience unfortunately, anyway they do work hard and you can tell by the effort they put in it.

A neat little restaurant in a street corner in Köln. Very chill. Friendly service.
Hervorragendes Restaurant; exzellent zubereitete Gerichte die wunderschön präsentiert werden. Der Service ist freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Komme gerne wieder!
I was here to celebrate my anniversary. We chose this place because its a French restaurant.
Upon arrival we were nicely greeted and offered a table(we made reservations beforehand, which was a good idea since it was full.) It is a small restaurant maybe with capacity of around 10 tables. There was just one person in charge of serving everyone when it was full capacity, so it took time for the food to come. There was little to no music. The bathroom is for just one person at the time, also really small. The decoration of the tables is lovely, also the paintings and different sculptures are eye catching.
We ordered a 5 gang Überraschungmenu and red wine. We got 3 entrees, one main course and dessert. What had to be warm was warm and what needed to be cold was cold. The food was good, we received meat that was nicely cooked and tender. My biggest complain was the sauce, in every plate there was this sauce that was way too salty, making it almost impossible to eat. But for the rest my partner expressed that the variety was accurate to the French cuisine.
As for the time taken here, we didn’t manage to eat everything at the restaurant, we had to ask for the last two plates to take. We arrived at 19:00 and left almost at 22:00
At the end I felt that the prices didn’t match with the food. It could‘ve been better.

Das Maison blue ist ein Restaurant mit französischer Küche. Hier wird der feine Gaumen verwöhnt.
Wein wird hier sehr groß geschrieben und zelebriert. Es gibt die Möglichkeit źu den verschiedenen Gängen eine Weinauswahl zu nehmen, bei der die Sommelière die Weine aussucht. Sie erklärt wunderbar die Herkunft wie den Charakter der einzelnen Weine und wie sie zum jeweiligen Gericht passen.
Es gibt 3 verschiedene Menue-Varianten. Ein 3-, 4- oder 5-Gänge Menue.

Ein Traditionslokal mit sehr guten Speisen, hochwertigem Service und passendem Ambiente. Die Qualität der Gerichte ist auf absolut hohem Niveau und man hat einen tollen Abend in gehobener Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute ein Restaurant in dem man sich wohl fühlt. Der Service kann nicht übertroffen werden. Keine aufgesetzte Freundlichkeit sondern echtes, natürliches und engagiertes Pesonal. Die Auswahl der Menus abwechslungsreich. Das Ergebnis sind fantastisch schmeckende Gerichte von der Vorspeise bis zur Nachspeise. Die passende Weinempfehlung inkl. der Möglichkeit vorher zu probieren,auch nicht alltäglich. Das alles zu einem fairen Preis. Mehr kann man nicht erwarten.
周六晚上全坐满，服务真的很好，仪式感满满。菜的味道虽然不及巴黎，但在德国算是可以了，食材比较好，人均120欧左右～
Einfach ein Klasse Ort sehr gutes Essen mit dem passenden Wein genießen zu dürfen. Der Service besonders durch seine persönliche Note ein Highlight. Zu empfehlen. Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Auf einmal schätzt man Weine, die man selbst nie gewählt hätte. Mein Highlight der Woche.
Cooler Laden, angenehme Location. Barkeeper Emanuel rockt den Laden würd ich sagen. Die Cocktails sind definitiv lecker und das individuelle ist meine ich, dass er, wenn nicht viel los ist denke ich, auf deine wünsche eingeht bezüglich des Cocktails.
The experience we had at Amabile on my birthday was certainly unforgettable, just not in a positive way. As tasty as the food was, so tasteless was the service.
It's a strange way to break the ice by confronting your customer with his "mumbling on the phone" with the reservation of the table. The fact that there's a thin line between a relaxed atmosphere and downright being rude, is something the staff at Amabile has yet to learn, even after "years of experience in the business".
Indiscretion and inappropriate behaviour were served like side dishes, a highlight certainly being asked about the constellation of our group.
We were not the only customers being painfully confronted that evening, a couple of businessmen were asked why they had made such a commotion about the Corona measures. Yet it was not those customers’ commotion that was making other guests feel awkward and uncomfortable.
Even after being asked why "I looked as if I wanted to hit someone", there was no attempt to turn the situation around. Instead, accusations and remarks were thrown back and forth between the two waiters for the entire establishment to hear. They were going in circles, as one was miserably trying to make up for the other one getting more and more alcoholised, but messing up his own efforts by not knowing his place. It was a poor display of unprofessionalism.
Eventually, we expected not tipping would be the biggest hint we could give them. Yet that was answered with a sassy “Were we really that bad, guys?” on our way out.
Ambient, check, great food, check, what ruined the evening is what one would least expect… So, yes, guys, you really were that bad!

Visiting Cologne for a weekend we wanted to have a nice restaurant to dine at Saturday evening so we looked at tripadvisor and found this one which had some good comments and nice looking dishes. The restaurant looked better on the pictures because in real its rather small and simple for this kind of etablissement. Small tables very close together and one side they passed to go and come from the kitchen and the other side to the toilets. There were only 2 waiters, the boss and another guy who was very kind and helped us very well although his cloths could be a bit less informal. So they danced around the tables and we must say they did rather well even when they sometimes touched us or bumped their shoe against our chairs. They put a hand on my shoulder several times what is probable meant to make the guests feel at ease but for sure some people would certainly not like this amicable approach. We ordered the €59 four course menu and a bottle of Riesling wine. With our aperitif they gave some bread with a yoghurtspread, a bit too simple to our taste. The first course arrived quickly while we didn't finished our aperitif yet. After that everything was going well and the starters were very good and the main course was ok. The fish my friend got was in different pieces and no crispy skin, not the same like we saw afterwards passing by for the other tables. The pate of his ravioli was undercooked, he got 2 new ones of which one was also undercooked but ok. After dessert and coffee we asked and got the bill, €206 and i put €250 on the tab coz i only had big notes. The owner came took the bill and asked, is this okay so? OMG did he really suggested in this way that a tip of €44 would be a very normal tip to give? I was really a bit shocked by this brutality and said, of course not, u can make it €210. Then he turned away with the bill and made a sound like tssssss of big disappointment that i dared to tip so little. This so rude to insult your guests because they don't give a tip of 20%. Pity for the other waiter who i would have given a bit more but we went out flabbergasted with the sound of his insult echoing in our ears. For the food i would have given 4/5 but now he only deserves the lowest appreciation.
