Sri Ganesh Temple at Ganesh Chowk Pune is very famous and always crowded. This Temple is at the centre of the city and right on the main congested traffic road. Very well maintained temple. The Ganesh ji is so beautiful and absorbing.
It is a must visit for every Punekar to get to know their culture and I think it is a hidden gem of Pune. The temple is a symbol of intermixing of various architectural styles and the best part are the beautiful intricate carvings. This temple is a treat for the history buffs as well as an important religious centre.
Not a crowded place even though in heart of city like Pune.Beautifully sculpted small temple. Just go there n sit in front of Bappa, see his special Roop with 3 trunks, close you eyes.... And its total peace. Peace of mind ! One should go there once in a while to get rid of all the stress of modern life.
It is Somwar peth in Pune as per history mandir was constructed on the August 26 th 1954.Mandir is not that much famous hence there is not too much of a rush It is approximately 2.5 KM from Srimant Dagdusheth Ganpati temple by Rikshaw you can reach by paying ₹30 to 40 Ganpati murti having Trishundh hence the name is Trishunda . Amazing 18th century temple right in the middle of the urban landscape. There are many unique characteristics to this place, like the Ganesh Idol with 3 trunks and if you go on the pradakshina marg, right behind the Ganpati idol, on the outside, you will find a shivling with mayur and mushak on it.
The temple is carved totally in a black rock and was built in 1754. It has various carvings with bhaldar chopdar on the main gate. It is a very silent place, one can meditate the whole day without any disturbance. The Ganesha idol is very attractive with three trunks. Behind Ganesha there is an idol of Vishnu and lakshmi sitting on the sheshnaag. It is a must visit temple in pune. Outside the temple there is a small temple of the same Ganesha to which people worship in the Ganpati festival.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. This is the one of the ancient temple in the city.

A historical place the architecture is too old. But if you want to seek the blessing of lord Bappa then the must-visit place. The peaceful place though is situated in the middle of the village. If you walk and see there are multiple little Ganesha statuses you could see. 🙌🌸✨

तांबडी जोगेश्वरी ( tambdi jogeshwari) हा पुण्यातील (Pune) मानाचा दुसरा गणपती आहे. हा गणपती शहराची ग्रामदेवता आहे. तांबडी जोगेश्वरी हे पुण्यातील पुरातन मंदिर आहे. या मंदिरातील देवीची मुर्ती स्वयंभू आहे असे देखील मानले जाते. तांबडी जोगेश्वरी गणेश मंडळाची सार्वजनिक गणेशोत्सवाची (Ganesh Festival) परंपरा गेल्या शंभर वर्षांपेक्षा जास्त काळापासून सुरु असल्याचे बोलेल जाते
या गणपतीचे खास वैशिष्ट्य म्हणजे श्रींच्या मूर्तीचे दरवर्षी विसर्जन केले जाते. येथे दरवर्षी पुन्हा नव्या मूर्तीची स्थापना केली जाते. सुरवातीच्या काळात तांबडी जोगेश्वरी मंदिराच्या आवारातच गणेशमुर्तीची स्थापना करण्यात येत होती. मात्र गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून मंदिराच्या बाहेर भव्य मंडप उभारला जातो. याच मंडपात गणेश मूर्तीची स्थापना केली जाते.
या गणेशोत्सवालाही 1893 पासून सुरुवात झाली होती. बुधवार पेठेतील आप्पा बळवंत चौकाजवळ हे मंदिर आहे. या गणेशोत्सवाला भाऊ बेंद्रे यांनी सुरुवात केली. पितळी देवाऱ्हात या गणपतीची स्थापना केली जाते. येथे चार युगातील बाप्पाची रुपे देखील पाहायला मिळतात. दरवर्षी पारंपारिक पद्धतीने गणेशाची स्थापना केली जाते. याच पद्धतीने विसर्जन देखील या मंडळांकडून केले जाते. भाविकांचा मोठ्या प्रमाणात उत्साह येथे पाहायला मिळतो.
