You don't have to buy tickets. But you need to get a ticket at the ticket window. It is free to go to the observation deck. It is a beautiful view! And the building has a magical construction, almost like going to Ebcot Center in Disney. Fun.
Hamburg meine Perle :-). Es gibt hier einfach so viele schöne Ecken.
Kleiner Aussichtsturm, im Baakenhafen. Bis zu 25 Leute sollen hier oben Platz haben, könnte etwas eng werden😁wir hatten Glück, waren nur sechs Leute hier. War ganz interessant, aber nicht wirklich schöne Aussicht, da der Turm nicht sehr hoch ist, wenn ich mich recht erinnere, waren es 13 Meter. Oben angekommen sind dann einige Infos zu lesen, nur leider sind die Tafeln so bekritzelt, daß nicht alles zu lesen war. Der Turm hat geöffnet von 8-20 Uhr.
I booked online in advance for €3 because I chose to go at sunset on a Saturday evening, when the views of the Elbe etc. were particularly beautiful. If going at a quieter time, probably best to just turn up and obtain a free ticket from the nearby ticket office.
Dieser Aussichtspunkt ist schon toll, wenn da nur nicht die Anstrengung wäre, um dort hinaufzugelangen😄immerhin sind es über 200 Stufen... aber einmal oben angekommen, lohnt die wunderschöne Kulisse. Wenn man in der Gegend ist, sollte man dort hinauf. Hat uns gut gefallen.
A fabulous handsomely styled construction sitting proudly on the harbourside. Positioned perfectly. Great to explore the place and look at the expansive views. And great for kids to run around also. They also have a great cafe and do a fabulous cup of hot chocolate.
This is a must visit location for stunning views of hamburg. Completely free and under cover for those rainy day activities. Make sure you take some time out to explore this incredible building .
… Dockland Altona Fischereihafen … nach einem Aufstieg wie auf eine Pyramide kommt man auf eine kostenlose Aussichtsplattform … dann steht man wie auf dem Deck eines großen Kreuzfahrtschiffes … bei Sonnenuntergang besonders romantisch.
It’s a great experience to appreciate the view of Hamburg including the city view and the view of the port. We didn’t pay any entrance fee for visiting the plaza. It’s free and we only need to go to the information desk to ask for the ticket. It definitely worths visiting!
Stunning location, especially during off season, when you have the time to strawl around and enjoy the views without too many people around. The escalator is impressive. You should not miss this chance to see the harbour from a different angle.
To enter, you get a QR code and scan it. The queue is crowded, but your turn comes quickly. Once you go up the escalator, Hamburg and the harbor are under your feet. The view is worth seeing.

For sure in the top 3 landmarks of Hamburg. Beautiful combination of old and new architecture. Definitely worth visiting. Special thanks for the free entrance for the observation deck i.e. plaza. You just collect tickets and go up by awesome 80m long stairs. View is for sure the best one in Hamburg.

Toller Aussichtspunkt an der Baakanbrücke mit interessanten Informationen über die Bauprojekte:Billebogen, Grasbrook und Hafencity.
Den Turm haben wir zuerst gar nicht registriert. Umso mehr hatten wir uns gefreut, als wir ihn bemerkten und dann noch feststellen durften, dass er kostenlos zu benutzten ist. Von da oben hat man eine schöne Sicht über die Hafencity. Man sieht von dort aus Prima den Baufortschritt der neuen Shopping-Mall. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Prachtige fietstocht door de oude Elbetunnel. Aan de overkant prachtig uitzicht op Hamburg
Ich war nicht oben, jedoch ist der Turm schon von weiten zu sehen... Auch von der Brücke hat man einen schönen Blick auf den Hafen. Welch buntes Treiben.
