if you are standing in front of the Brandenburg Tor and really want to drink coffee but not ⭐️bucks, be sure to visit this place! excellent coffee and desserts
The rudeness of one of the waiters here was astounding. You speak German to them and they reply in English, and continue in English even when you make it clear that you want to speak German. This makes it a very hostile atmosphere for people who are foreign and live in Berlin but are learning German. For this reason, I wouldn't recommend this cafe for people who are not German and who want to actually speak German and not be spoken at in English.

Sicherlich kan man hier keine Kuchen für 2,59 Eur erwarten.... Aber ich kann sagen, dass es sich lohnt hier etwas mitzunehmen. Die Kücklein sind 1A. Sehr lecker und leicht. Es lohnt sich.

Sehr schönes kleines Café im berühmten Hotel Adlon. Teuer, aber es ist es wert, Himbeer-Pistazien-Törtchen war ein Traum.

When I was planning my trip to Berlin, I noticed this little cafe near the Brandenburg Gate on Google Maps, and from the reviews and photos it looked promising. Well, it exceeded my expectations!
It was a cold and gloomy day, so entering this bright cafe felt like a warm touch. There is a diverse menu offering something for every palate.
The service was a little slow to prepare a latte and serve a dessert though. Between the two, the dessert stood out the most. It was decadent like a masterpiece. If I lived in Berlin, I would probably be a regular here.

Good place. Nice coffee, but I prefer when cappuccino has soft taste. The croissant with almonds was very tasty. It was not crowded.

Nice place but I expected more bc of the reviews. In reality, the espresso martini was too watery (too much ice in the mix) and not sweet enough. The Ravioli with the buffalo ricotta and eggplant was missing a bit of salt. The dough was good, but the dish was very plain in taste.
We left pretty disappointed :/

A good address for breakfast in Berlin. Egg and avocado bagel and coffee are delicious. The best part is that the ambiance is a pleasant place to sit.
The barista was smiling and nice, thank you! However, coffee selection for handbrew was limited, only Costa Rica was available, and the coffee wasn't good at all.
Sometimes you think "where do I start" and you need an impetus! Sometimes it's a close friend, sometimes a film, a book and sometimes a place! Because I believe in the spirit of places! I believe in the smell of the places, the energy of everything that is served, because sometimes a coffee is not just a coffee. Thank you very much for making my day special. It was very good for me to meet a place like you on my first visit to Berlin 🌿💛
The coffee is very good but €4,70 for a flat white seems outrageous. I understand their rent must be very expensive but it’s difficult to justify ever buying coffee for that price.
Other cafes in the area are similarly expensive, so unfortunately this will mean going to fewer cafes and drinking coffee at home more often.

icerisi cok ferah fakat fazla oturacak yer yok. hava cok soguk oldugu icin brandenburg kapisini gezdikten sonra buraya oturduk. fiyatlar merkezi bir yere gore uygun, bir de tatlilari cok lezzetliydi. tavsiye ederim
I ordered a fresh ginger tea and my friend ordered a fresh mint tea. Then we exchanged ingredients and had a ginger mint tea! Love coming to this place for a coffee or a tea as it’s nicely located right next to the park. They are always very friendly here and cakes are good as well
We went there on a Sunday, it is very crowded and the owners apparently decided to be cheap on few things, including the door that is not closing automatically, making the place very cold in winter.
The prices are high, even for this area. The quality is fine, but when you apply above average prices, your service should be in accordance.

Visited with friends on a cold January Sunday afternoon. There is no service at the table so one has to order at the cash, so sometimes the cue is a bit long. The personnel was very nice and polite. The place was full but we had to wait only 10 minutes to get a table fitting 5 people. I tried the breakfast croissant, toasted with spinach, avocado and pancetta and I really like it. The coffee also tasted very good. Great variety of cakes. This is a nice and quite "Berlin style" café just 5 mins walking from the Kottbusser Tor area, ideally to have a chat with friends while drinking a good coffee.
Very incompetent staff. I go to the counter to pay the bill for 4 people, only to find out that they haven’t been able to keep track of our orders (4 drinks of which never arrived). I start counting the things we had. In the process, I’m talking to my other two friends about what they had since I wasn’t expecting to keep everything in memory in a coffee shop. Out of nowhere the person behind the counter repeatedly accuses me for being “angry” (for reasons that still are unknown to me) and adds “I don’t want angry customers here”. I had to say at least 5 times “I’m not angry”. Then he goes on by claiming that he told his colleague about the last 4 cups of tea and that the colleague messed up the order. We got this information at a point we weren’t even interested anymore in drinks. And now after several hours, I still don’t know what to do with this information.
Monti is pretty uncomfortable. The benches are lacking a back to hang something on (let alone leaning at it). I wasn’t able yo locate any coat rack. You’ll need to hug onto your heavy winter coat while having an okayish coffee.

Perfect place to grab a take away Chai, esp with this cold weather.
Best coffee I have ever tasted. Very friendly service, beautiful interior. The roastery is located behind the bar.

Pain au chocolate was delicious. We got the hot chocolate. It looked amazing with the big marshmallow served on the side. However, it was so bitter. There was very little sweetness and we couldn't even finish it. I really would not recommend it.
Lovely little cafe serving great hot drinks, bagels, and cakes. Went back the next day, and we enjoyed it so much. Very relaxed atmosphere.
One of the best coffees I have had in a long time. Beautiful and thought through interior, that actually creates relaxing and modern ambience and isn’t just a copy of many other specialty coffee shops. Tasty oat cappuccino. Visiting this cafe is a treat.
Wish we’d read the reviews before coming here. Had to wait an hour 10 for our food which was particularly tough for our 5 year old. There was no apology and we were just told ‘we are busy on Sundays’. When the food did arrive it was very tasty but we hadn’t wanted to waste so much our last day in Berlin waiting in a cafe. Also very cheeky that we weren’t warned about any long waits until after we’d paid up front

We came in for a midday breakfast and were so positively surprised. The food (two green eggs Benedict) was absolutely delicious! The coffee was wonderful - as was pastei denata.
The atmosphere cozy and the service friendly. Overall just a lovely way to spend our Saturday morning and we left full and happy.

Berlin Brandenburg’u gezdikten sonra güzel bir kahve ve pasta keyfi yapmak isterseniz tavsiye ederim. Çalışanları güler yüzlü ve yardım sever. Güzel manzarası tertemiz ortamı ve lezzetli pastaları için uğrayabilirsiniz :)
Der Geschmack vom Poppy Kuchen und dem Chai Latte war so gut, die Kombi ist mir auf der Zunge zerschmolzen. Das Café ist wirklich super geeignet um dort für die Uni zu lernen oder am Laptop zu arbeiten, dadurch dass die Athmosphäre einfach genau die richtige dafür ist. Nettes Personal mit einem Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Ich komme definitiv wieder! Preis ist auch super, weil der Kuchen satt macht und der Kaffee mit Genuss getrunken werden kann ☺️ Vegane Optionen and Kuchen und Milchersatz gibt es auch im Angebot!

Nice place inside the park, even better when it's good weather and you can sit outside. The food was tasty. For the whole experience, I put 5 stars, because I personally like that kind of places. Recommend for a daytime break.

The schnitzel was super. I had the Wiener Schnitzel and but the chicken schnitzel was very tasty as well. The place was not that cozy. The inside decoration needs some love.

Bonanza is probably the best place for coffee in Berlin. They really know their beans, and the coffee tastes amazing. The place is comfy and chill, and the folks there are super friendly. Plus, they've got some amazing tasty pastries to go with your cup of joe, both sweet and sour. If you're in Berlin and need a coffee fix, don't miss out on Bonanza!
A beautiful spot 😍 located in a quiet courtyard. Didn't test their coffee but their hot chocolate was delicious. Venue is filled with greens and huge plants. Service is very nice. Credit card accepted.
I dont know why it took me too long for me to find this place. I went there twice in a week, one for coffee one for the breakfast.

I went on a Saturday noon and wasn’t that crowded. During the week there are a lot of ppl working with their laptops, I think is a good place to work.

Friendly staff and tasty bagel. Had a coffee, after I drunk half of it, I noticed there was an unwashed red lipstick mark on it! Disgusting! And good quality lipstick I must say. But still disgusting! You don’t expect this sort of thing happening in a well-reviewed cafe, but it did happened to me.
Great place on a Sunday enjoying a beer and food. Lots of outdoor seating. The main menu is written in German but there's a smaller English menu for us tourists. Good priced beer here too, €4.90 for 0.5L. My entire meal pictured cost €21

It is a very practical place to work or have a good coffee. It has two floors and the service is good. It has a wide variety of tea and coffee. The food options are few but very delicious.

All of the espresso drinks as well as the matcha latte were well made and delicious. The food was fresh and flavourful, and the loaf of grapefruit cake was the perfect ending to a satisfying meal ☺️ lots of vegan/vega options as well.
Staff was excellent, and everything in the shop (down to the bathroom 😇) is colour coordinated. Would definitely recommend!

Really great food, and would have given it 5 starts but the service today was hit and miss at best. They did forget parts of the food we ordered and they also charged us incorrectly at first.
Alexander Platz. Quindi un luogo suggestivo pieno di storia e riferimenti. Il bar/ristorante è davvero enorme ma il servizio impeccabile. Buona scelta di birre e cibi per ogni palato. Prezzi in linea alla Germania. Si sta bene, anche la musica non dà fastidio. E si guarda intorno la vita sociale berlinese.
Das Café sieht super schick und modern aus. Der Cortado (4€) hat mir leider zu sauer geschmeckt. Die Preise finde ich zu hoch. Positiv ist, dass die Hafermilch nicht extra kostet.
Wir waren mit einer relativ großen Gruppe da und haben super schnell einen Tisch bekommen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett, total höflich, hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Das Essen war ein bisschen teuer für Schüler aber noch total im Rahmen. Wir haben sehr schnell unser Essen wie auch Trinken bekommen und es gab viele Alternativen (Hafermilch). Generell ist es auch sehr vegetarisch/ vegan freundlich! Also schlussendlich kann man sagen, es lohnt sich total mal vorbei zu kommen und ist jeden Cent wert. Wenn wir nochmal in Berlin sind kommen wir bestimmt nochmal hier her!! :)
Das Beste Frühstück jemals 🥹 wir haben das süße Café im Vorbeilaufen entdeckt. Es ist sehr cool eingerichtet und der Hafercappuccino ist unglaublich lecker (ich finde das ist nicht selbstverständlich). Wir haben das Avocadobrot und die Granolabowl mit Rhabarber und Kokosjoghurt gegessen und beides war unfassbar lecker. Für uns eine 5/5!

Tolles Ambiente! Wunderschöner Innenhof mitten in der Stadt und leichte frische Küche mit orientalischen Einflüssen. Nettes Personal und ein sehr sympathischer Koch! Sehr zu empfehlen 👍🏻.
Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre für alle arten von Kaffeegenießer. Als Mitarbeiter als auch Kunde. Überall in diesem minimalistischem Café findet man immer wieder neue Details, die davon zeugen, wie viel Liebe reingesteckt wurde. Als Teammitglied, als auch Kunde empfehle ich es vom Herzen.

Un double espresso savoureux et équilibré ainsi que deux oeufs Bénédicte servis sur toast avec une delicieuse sauce hollandaide et une salade et des pignons de pin grillés pour 11€. Un plaisir pour med papilles gustatives.

Lovely outdoor restaurant that was situated right in the middle of the park. Great atmosphere and vibe, super busy and buzzing with conversation.
Food was quite traditional German cuisine, very hearty and filling.
The schnitzel was pork and was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside served with sweet cranberry sauce and spicy horse radish.
The rosemary potatoes were soft and perfectly seasoned and the garden salad was fresh and filling with a variety of baked vegetables.
Definitely would recommend for dinner and a drink.

We chanced upon this place after passing by a few times as it's near our hotel. Looks small from the outside but always crowded. We checked its reviews and they were high.

Confortable, service discret et souriant, toast à l'avocat très bon, la quiche au légumes était copieuse mais pas exceptionnelle.
Un des meilleurs cafés de Berlin. Les gâteaux sont délicieux, l'atmosphère est calme et les cafés sont délicieux. Avec les petits scènes en bois, la décoration est originale !
