Sehr große und aufwendig gepflegte Anlage und Museum. Rundkurs wird beim Einlass erklärt. Sehr gut erklärte Waffengeschichte-und Herstellung. Der Rundkurs hätte besser ausgeschildert, bzw. per Pfeilmarkierung, erkennbar gemacht werden müssen.
Man sollte genügend Zeit einplanen.

So geht Hotel!

The place extremely overpriced compared to the service and food you receive!

We ordered kabab and shisha taouk. Kabab didnt look like kabab but meatballs. It was not delicious, neither was shisha taouk. I am from the country of best kebabs and this was by far the worst!

Waiter didnt bring bread with our orders even though it is in the menu and she said “oh I didnt know it was mentioned there. Other customers have never asked for it before”.. Come on.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen und das Team war zu jeder Zeit sehr freundlich. Die renovierten Zimmer sehen auch sehr gut aus.

Allerdings war die Temperatur im Zimmer viel zu hoch und ließ sich über den Thermostat auch nicht runterregeln. Beim Frühstück wurde mir verboten, ein Croissant mitzunehmen, da das Frühstück nicht To Go sei (das wäre bei frühen Terminen aber zu wünschen). Beim Auschecken fand sich ein mysteriöses Package im Wert von 150€ auf der Rechnung, das ich weder autorisiert noch erhalten hatte und das erst wieder runtergenommen werden musste.

We had a very nice evening - staff is very attentive, food and drinks were excellent and really nice atmosphere with cool music. Will come again!

War zwei mal in diesem schönen Hotel und muss sagen hat alles gepasst, tolles Zimmer, Frühstück in selbst
Bedienung, reichhaltige Auswahl auch an Getränken. Grund weg mit allem sehr zufrieden komme gerne wieder.

I had a terrible experience, staff not friendly at all, didn't explain the dish of the day and asked us to go out in the rain and read the sign. The food was bad, vegetables not well cooked, not tasty and very small. During lunch time most of the restaurants on that area are full, this was empty and now I get why. It's a shame because the place is cozy, I highly recommend the owner train better the staff and change the menu, Arabic food is good to be represented so poorly.

Ich empfehle, den Ort zu besuchen und genügend Zeit einzuplanen, da er groß und vielfältig ist. Sehr interessant.

Schöne Veranstaltungsstätte mit toller Parkanlage.
Ich war bei einem ausverkauften Konzert da.
Verpflegung miserabel, mit vordrängeln halbe Stunde, Toiletten verdreckt und mit anstehen.
Durch diese ständigen Wartereien das halbe Konzert verpasst.
Sound ging.

Wir habe hier für uns und meinen Bruder und seine Frau die Tage um den Jahreswechsel verbracht. Das Hotel glänzt natürlich durch den "Old-Money-Style" vor allem im Eingangsbereich und dem großzügigen Treppenaufgang. Wir hatten jeweils eine Suite und können also nur diese Bewerten. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ein riesiger Vorteil hier ist die geniale Lage in Berlin.

Die Silvester-Dinner-Party war sehr angenehm. Auch das Essen war hervorragend.

Leider war genau in unserer Etage zu der Zeit ein Wasserschaden und um in unsere Zimmer zu kommen mussten wir durch Feuchtigkeitsgeruch und Trocknungslärm.

Es wäre schön, wenn uns das im Vorfeld gesagt worden wäre.

Das Personal vor Ort hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Professionell und freundlich!

A really nice architectural complex that hosts several things: cinema, restaurants, concert halls etc.
During September here is one of the best Christmas Markets - Lucia with Nordic / Scandinavian inspiration

The Fotografiska Museum Berlin is OK, not the best compared with the other Fotografiskas. The building and the vibe were really nice and Berlinish but as it is quite new, they could have started off with stronger exhibitions and not stay on such mainstrem level. The nude exhibition was quite good out of all three exhibitions. Since the ticket price isn’t that high would recommend it anyway.

Ein tolles Hotel an einem tollen Standort. Die Zimmer ok, aber nichts herausragendes, der Service war gut, gerade auch Abends in der Lobby, das Frühstück ist hervor zu heben!
Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier und sicher nicht zum letzten Mal! 👍

Edgy contemporary photographic art on floors 3, 4 and 5. The entrance fee is hefty compared to the smallness of the exhibitions, the shop is not worth the photo theme. Best is the graffiti covered staircase reminding of the independent occupied art center after the wall came down.

Die Zitadelle Spandau ist so beeindruckend. Sie ist im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut und irgendwie spürt man das auch. Es steckt sehr viel Geschichte dort. Allein der Wall dieser Anlage ist schon beeindruckend und ich hab mich in eine Zeit reinversetzt.......wo ich froh bin, zu der Zeit nicht gelebt zu haben. Die Museen sind auch sehr sehenswert und faszinierend. Der Blick vom Juliusturm darf natürlich auch nicht fehlen.

I had zero expectations before visiting this museum, deciding to go because it was free at that time. Knowing it primarily focused on art and photography, I hoped to gain a new perspective on these mediums.

The museum featured three exhibitions. The first, titled "NUDE," stood out as the most interesting. It presented a fresh take on the beauty of nudes, offering a different perspective. While not entirely my preference, I appreciated the chance to learn something new.

The second exhibition was the most forgettable, consisting of red, blue, and color photography with bodies layered on them, claiming it to be "art."

The last one, "whiteface," seemed to convey a passive-aggressive message about racial issues among white people. Whether I agreed or disagreed wasn't necessarily the point, as I found myself indifferent.

The museum also housed a shop and a bar. The shop had a well-designed interior and was well-maintained. The bar was equally nice, with a pleasant atmosphere and respectful patrons. This museum may cater to a specific audience, and while it might not be entirely my taste, it has its merits.

Wir hatten unsere Weihnachtsfeier der Firma dort, es ist eine sehr ansprechende und interessante Location. Wenn der erste "Schock" des Tunnelzugangs überwunden ist, bietet sich eine tolle Halle für große Personenzahlen.
Dem guten Gesamteindruck hat sicherlich das Catering und die Bar geholfen!

Das Zimmer (621) ist frisch renoviert und sehr schön eingerichtet. Highlight ist das Bett! Selten so bequem gelegen.
Das Sofa und der 2. drehbare Fernseher haben unseren Aufenthalt ebenfalls versüßt.

Das Bad ist ebenfalls neu, hat Fußbodenheizung und eine riesige Duschkabine. Der Wasserdruck passt!

Check In sehr freundlich.

Das Personal an der Bar war ebenfalls zu jeder Zeit sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Interesting by architectural style place. A lot of space, several bars and shop. They picked up some strong and important for society topics. But some of displays were a bit questionable for the resources used by artist to lead viewer’s opinion.

Cultural Events: The complex hosts a variety of cultural events, including concerts, art exhibitions, film screenings, and festivals, making it a thriving epicenter for creative expression and community engagement, attracting art aficionados and cultural enthusiasts from all over Berlin.
Entertainment and Dining: The KulturBrauerei boasts a selection of entertainment venues, including theaters, cinemas, and live music spaces, alongside a range of dining options that cater to diverse tastes, creating a vibrant and immersive experience for visitors of all interests.

There's a GREAT GDR museum in here which not even locals know about (enter the arch and turn right, see video).

It is much better than the 'official' GDR museum plus it's FREE and, in a cool neighbourhood. Museum staff, (unlike the GDR museum) do not feel they need to be in GDR character, ie: These guys smile and are really friendly.

I particularly loved the 'revolutionary' camping tent on a car roof, complete with serious male briefs hanging to dry (seems lije a joke but was not). Its exhibits drive home life in East Germany for everyday citizens.

TIP: If you go on a Saturday be sure to visit the Kollwitzplatz market a few minutes away.

Unfortunately very disappointed from the exhibition choice made in Berlin.
I have been to Fotografiska in Stockholm and was simply amazing. So I was very happy to know Fotografiska was coming in Berlin as well.

Now the location is very cool, and happy they kept part of the soul of the building. BUT the coffee concept very different from Stockholm.
The exhibition choice felt to me less about photography, and more on getting busy to give out very strong messages.
A very different feeling compared to Stockholm. And I personally did not like it or got positive impressed.

Geschichte erleben und die Aussicht vom Juliusturm genießen.
Sehr gut gemachte Ausstellung zur Festungsgeschichte und eine Halle mit alten Kanonen und Mörsern.
Die 4,50 € Eintritt sind dafür nicht zu viel verlangt.

Mein Besuch in der Zitadelle Spandau war äußerst spannend, um dieses Wortspiel zu nutzen. Ursprünglich dachte ich, es handele sich nur um ein historisches Gebäude, aber ich wurde angenehm überrascht, als ich erfuhr, wie viel es dort zu erkunden gibt.

Die aktuelle Ausstellung hat mich besonders beeindruckt. Sie bietet nicht nur interessante Informationen, sondern auch visuelle Höhepunkte.Aber auch die Nachbildung eines Luftschutzbunkers hat mich tief berührt und mir eine Vorstellung davon vermittelt, wie es während der Kriegszeiten gewesen sein muss.

Die Vielfalt der Ausstellungen und die Geschichte, die man in der Zitadelle erleben kann, sind beeindruckend. Tatsächlich habe ich es an einem Tag kaum geschafft, alles zu sehen, und deshalb plane ich definitiv einen zweiten Besuch.

Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war die Erfahrung mit einer ehemaligen Mitarbeiterin, die sich unangemessen verhalten hat. Glücklicherweise habe ich erfahren, dass sie nicht mehr dort arbeitet, was meine Beschwerde letztendlich überflüssig machte. Es ist beruhigend zu wissen, dass die anderen Mitarbeiter freundlich und höflich waren.

Insgesamt kann ich die Zitadelle Spandau nur wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem Geschichte lebendig wird und an dem man viel entdecken kann. Mein erster Besuch war spannend, und ich freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten, um noch mehr von diesem faszinierenden Ort zu sehen.

Ich war zum Gaukler-Fest am Tag der Deutschen Einheit dort und es war ein tolles Erlebnis! Viele verkleidete Kinder und Erwachsene vorort mit der Zitadelle als atemberaubende Kulisse. Viele Buden boten Speisen und Getränke an. Die Band Tanzwut sorgte für mittelalterliche Musik. Es war ein toller Besuch!

4 stars for the amazing vibes of this place. I went with my three year old. My kid danced heart out. One star is deducting because the museum was closed before time and no one knows the reason. But overall highly recommended.

Die min. einstündige Führung durch promovierten Historiker ist sehr empfehlenswert. Bewegte Geschichte und Wissen über die ehemaligen Bewohner, manchmal unfreiwillig im ältesten Gebäude Berlins, dem Juliusturm. Dort oben auch Freiluft Aussicht über ganz Berlin bis Brandenburg. Vielfältige Ausstellungen runden das Erlebnis ab. Besonderes: Trauungen in historischem Saal möglich! '-)

Great experience here while visiting Heidelberg! They had English menus which was great. I tried their wheat beer and enjoyed it even though I’m not much of a beer drinker. The food was delicious. Very happy that we stopped here to enjoy a meal.

An old brewery now converted into a culture hub. Visited recently during a intentional culture event on Sunday. It had events and food stall from across the globe. Overall a nice place to enjoy and hang out. Enjoyed the food too.

Great area near an old brewery which becomes a nice ethnic food market during the weekend. Lots of authentic ethnic food with friendly people, and the food isn’t very expensive, but still good quality. You can have a coffee or a beer and many different types of food. There are tables and chairs and even sun chairs if you want to hang around for a while.

Haben gestern die Hochzeit meines Bruders dort gefeiert... alles hat reibungslos und nach Plan funktioniert, der Abend konnte besser nicht werden. Essen, Musik, Deko sowie Service war alles super! Kann ich wirklich weiter empfehlen.

Hatte letzte Woche Samstag meine Hochzeit gefeiert, alles ist wie nach Plan gelaufen, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. Genauso war meine Familie beeindruckt. Der Service, Personal und die Dekoration ist super. Kann ich wirklich nur weiterempfehlen!

Great place with many events. We visited on a Sunday. Life in the DDR exhibition is on show and is free of charge. It's very cool to see and read about life back then which was not that long ago. There is also a street food thing happening which seemed cool. Great place to hang out.

Spazio molto bello. Accanto alla vecchia fabbrica della birra kindl che ora è un museo di arte contemporanea. C'è una piazza frutto di un bel progetto di paesaggio. C'è anche una pista per i gokart al coperto.
