What an amazing place of industrial heritage. One can only try to imagine this site bustling with activity, 8000 people on site and the noise and smell and dust and dirt. All this started by Franz Haniel to mine the black gold. We benefited from a well informed tour guide who helped to bring this to life, highly recommended since this gives you access to buildings equipped with sound and video installations.

Schneller Einlass und unkompliziert. Feiern wie Silvester oder Halloween sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt weiter hinten (draußen) einen großen Raucherbereich mit Überdachung. 2 Hallen mit Getränkeständen. Einen Vorraum mit Stühlen zum entspannen und einer weiteren Bar. In der großen Halle einen Hochstand. Sind sehr gerne dort. Alter Ü30+

Ich liebe diese Clubkonzerte.
Du bist mittendrin und fast auf der Bühne. Erlebst die Künstler "hautnah". Die Atmosphäre und das Publikum waren mega. Im Eingangsbereich und an der Bar waren alle superfreundlich und entspannt.

Eine sehr schöne Location mit ganz ganz viel Geschichte. Unsere Firmenfeier war auch dank der tollen Location sehr gut. Werde sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Schöner Veranstaltungsort mit anhöngender Gastronomie

Ein durchweg gelungener Abend. Leckeres Essen in der angeschlossenen Gastronomie und ein kurzweiliger, sehr lustiger Abend mit Quichotte. Durch die kalten Temperaturen draußen war es innen im Saal eher kühl. Das war aber kein Problem mit übergelegter Jacke und viel Lachen würde man warm gehalten.

Schöne, große Location im Industrie-Design.
Leider ist die Akustik aufgrund der Größe/Bauweise nicht die beste, sodass Gesprochenes schwer zu Verstehen ist und die Töne der Musik eher zu einer Maße ohne Höhen/Tiefen verschmilzt.

I would recommend getting a guide. Also visit the Red Dot museum and you may skip the Ruhr museum.

An interesting Place to visit which grants you a look into the past. There is a lot to see, and tours to be taken. Whether you are young or old, want to walk a lot or not, there is something for everyone. A lot to look at, a lot to explore. You can walk around the premises and take a look at the different sites or take the bus.
There is a variety of restaurants and cafes all over the area if you get hungry or thirsty in the meantime.
There is plenty of parking so that you should easily find a spot whenever you come. Alternatively the site is easily to reach by public transport.
Overall if you are interested in the industrial times you should definitely give this place a visit when you are around.

Great place to be and have a look around. I didn’t have the chance to see all relevant parts but it was still great.

Ganz gut organisiert und ausgerichtet durch lego und natürlich durch Zollverein.
Für Kinder das ideale zum Spielen .

Ich war hier heute mit meinem Enkel in der Lego Playzone.
Ich empfand die Räumlichkeiten als sehr schön hergerichtet.
Ein und Ausgang alles gut geregelt.
Die Toiletten waren in einem top Zustand.
Die Zeche Zollverein ist immer ein Besuch wert auch wenn da nicht gerade ein tolles Event für Kinder ist.
Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Good place to visit. Could spend hours inside the museum and outside places. The plus point was when I visited the place, there was music and food fest organized by Essen Stadt. Beautiful place with massive architecture of metal. I would recommend to visit it once.

I love this place and can relate to it to be an UNESCO world heritage. It's absolutely impressive and stunning. As a German I didn't even know what was here to see. Dimensions are huge and the industrial style to me looks surreal. I will definitely come back to see more and make a guided tour. There is a lot of industrial history here.

Super Ivent Hall für Großveranstaltungen mit entsprechend vielen Parkplätzen gut zu erreichen mit Risigem Industrie-Denkmal und angesiedelten Unternehmen .....

Super tolle Event location. Ich war hier zur Eröffnung des Germany Travel Marts. Gastronomie war ebenfalls top und sehr freundlich

Das Ambiente ist überwältigend, das Konzept passt optimal zu dieser außergewönlichen Location. Ich durfte dort einen Event erleben und der war wahrhaft bombastisch. Eine Halle dieser Größenordnung in ein neues Leben zu führen ist eine gewaltige Investition, aber die hat sich gelohnt, so etwas findet man nicht so schnell wieder, es bereichert die Region und beflügelt Aktionen der Wirtschaft, des Handels und der Politik, dafür einen großen Applaus, sehr gut gemacht!

Sehr schöne Event-Location mit historischem Charakter. Durch Lichtakzente werden verschiedene Bereiche und gut erhalten gebliebene Maschinen betont. Ich war zur Gala-Veranstaltung der Firma JEMAKO dort und bin immer noch überwältigt von diesem Ambiente. Man hat was ganz tolles daraus gemacht und erinnert gleichzeitig an vergangene Zeiten des Bergbaus.
