Went here for back to the future, it was amazing! The production quality was unbelievable, the set design was staggering. I highly recommend it!!

Super
Was there to see Tina, great show, but this review wants to praise the theater and one usher is particular. The theater is rather intimate, different to the US style Broadway type venues I'm used to. I never knew there could be a separate entrance around the corner for the seats in the upper circle. Marina was so helpful and full of information about the theater, its history, the layout of the seating. In her I had an usher AND a tourguide too. I really appreciate her interest and dedication to the theater. At the interval the bar staff made available a pitcher of water and cups. I don't know if this is standard in London, but this was appreciated by this American used to hunting down fountains that are tepid and weak.
We had great seats for a great show, back to the future the musical. It was a great cast with great chemistry between the performers. Several very funny laugh out loud moments which I wasn't expecting. We had seats in the dress circle, P3 & P4 which were brilliant! Two seats on their own, plenty of space, no jumping up and down to let people in and out and we could see everything.
The stage setting, props and scenery were all fantastic, lighting and sound were spot on and the special effects were very clever.

The theatre is a beautiful building a really traditional old theatre, well maintained and very clean.

Theatre staff were all really friendly and helpful. It was a great day out.

Nice venue! Paid £15 for 2 pints though which is insane. But expected kinda for a venue in central london. Nice comedy too

We watched the Harry Potter and the cursed child play. ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! One of the best plays I've ever seen! The magic is unbelievable and the acting has been brilliant!!
It's split into two parts, with a two hour break inbetween. So it will take the whole day.
But what an amazing experience it has been! ✨⚡️💫

Excellent experience and tour. It’s a part of the London Pass and is full of incredible history. A must do if you’re in London.
Despite being seated in the very last row of the entire theatre at M25 and M26, I felt that the view was alright. Sure, I couldn’t really make out the actors’ faces very well, but I was still able to enjoy the visual aspects of the performance. My view was largely unobstructed by people’s heads and I could actually see the stage (compared to the poorly designed theatre for Phantom of the Opera, where all you see is the backs of people’s heads). The seats were comfortable enough, although the rows were a tight squeeze. The main downside for me was the railing in front of me. It was at eye level, so I either had to lean forward or sit back and tilt my head downward to get a view of the stage.

The performance itself was great. If you’ve not been living under a rock, you’re bound to recognise some tunes, especially since they’ve included some contemporary songs. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience watching Moulin Rouge at this theatre.
I am new to musical theater; however, this musical is beyond amazing. The music is non-stop, the cleaver jokes tossed into the musical keep your attention.
We went to the Saturday show and bought the ambassador package, the people back there are amazing their help and guidance is very helpful for someone semi new to musical theater. I highly recommend this show to someone teetering on whether or not they want to go. I would go again if we were in London longer.

We saw Ari Eldjárn: Return of the Icelandic here and we loved the show. He was hilarious here and on his Netflix stand up. He stayed afterwards to say hello to each individual person.

The venue itself was well positioned and although maybe a little cramped was still a lovely venue. Drinks like coke were cheap and staff were friendly. Would return.
Imposantes, altes Theater, in dem "The Phantom of the Opera" gespielt wird.
Had tickets for Moulin Rouge and came 1.5h late due to flight delay. The staff was very friendly, took care of our suitcases and led us unobtrusive to our seats mid-play. The play was spectacular and the stage/stage effects were great! Worth a visit! We have never been to a better musical and/or stage before.
We initially booked seats in the balcony but they were too high for the kids. The attendants were amazing and radioed the box office who were able to provide very reasonable upgrades for all of us. The theatre is beautiful and we loved the show 😁

Brilliant theatre and Harry potter production. The show was remarkablely good and the theatre itself is huge. Security staff are polite, good and helpful. Great location in the heart of London, 5 min walk from Leicester Square tube or 6 min walk from Tottenham Court Road.

Amazing!!!
Fantastic!!!!

The staff were very good , very helpful.

Program £12
Glass of house white £11

We sat on stalls S19 &S20
We had a good view, and could see the whole show.

Back to the future was just eclectic!

The scenery and screen along with the technology and lighting, were amazing !
The actor playing George mcfly was magnificent he nailed the mannerisms of the character.

Would love to see again when it comes up North.

I went to the Savoy theatre for the first time yesterday, to watch Plaza Suite. It's a nice little theatre. Seats were comfy and view was good. Excellent bar service. I like how they allow you to order drinks for the interval, when you buy your pre show drinks. This made it quick to get a drink at the interval, as I didn't have to stand in a long queue 👌
We booked Tina - The Tina Turner Musical.
The show was fantastic, the theatre was really clean, very well presented, and the staff were friendly.
Our only complaint was the price of the drinks there.
Two small bottles of Prosecco were £27!
Which is excessive, and over priced.
But, theatre and show - Excellent.
Busy bar area which is nice but if you are early for a show it’s difficult to find somewhere to sit if you don’t want, or can’t, stand up very long. Theatre itself was small, no stage. The first few rows of seats are at the same level so your view gets blocked, recommend being farther back. Good atmosphere though. Interesting space. Would definitely go back.
The Globe is smaller than we expected but it makes for an intimate theatre. There are standing tickets but if you are surrounded by tall people you could find it hard to see - also remember there is no roof over the standing area. We had a bench just off centre in the middle gallery and the view was brilliant, glad we hired cushions and had warm layers on. The play was fantastic, very impressive.

This theater is absolutely magnificent. We were able to get last minute tickets to see the play. This play was in two parts with a two hours breaks in between. Being that this was a play, the special effects were mind blowing. Never thoughts this is possible for the theater. My family and I enjoyed it immensely. You do have to commit a day for this and it’s worth every minute of it. Photography were not allowed in theater during the show.
I saw Harry Potter and the cursed child in 26B seat. Great seat, great view, plenty of leg space. The red wine and the snacks available at the shop and bar were also good. A 10/10 experience for me.
Superschönes Theater, in typisch englischem Stil. Hervorragende Vorstellung, Preise für Getränke und Programmheft völlig im Rahmen.
It was so easy to get to and find, for us anyway. Just a short walk from the Elizabeth Line.

The theatre is well-organised and staffed with friendly helpful people.

We had a good view of the stage despite being in the back row.

We found the play itself was very good, maybe a bit too good. I'm still being affected by it now. A bit too close to home. I am disabled.
Been on my bucket list to go and today I finally went. Bigger than I thought, sat in the upper gallery in front row and had perfect view. Stairs are a bit of a climb .. all amenities on lower floor (I didn't use them personally today) so do everything before going up!! Great performance, rain held off too, which I was extremely pleased about, but you would be part covered (depending on which way wind is blowing!!!), we didn't buy cushions, seating was a little tight, but I'm mot sure cushions entirely needed, so an amazing experience for me today... would definitely go again.
A really amazing performance by the cast, musicians and staff.
I could not have hoped for a better experience.
Customer service staff were friendly & helpful, as we're the bar staff.
What a fabulous show,
I had a "cheaper" seat A33 and thought it was a brilliant choice.
Highly recommend
I was out walking and looked up and saw Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker were starring in plaza suite. I walked over to get a ticket perhaps for a subsequent showing but found out they were having a performance in 25 minutes. I had the time and I checked it out and it was amazing. Great performances all the way around. And the theater is absolutely gorgeous.
A special treat for our very short stay in London. This is the first time we have seen a theatre show in London and we absolutely loved it.

We were staying at the Savoy, so it was literally a one minute walk under the sheltered walkway (it was raining).

We saw Plaza Suite. I am not a Sarah Jessica Parker fan and haven't watched her in any movies, but fell in love with her portray of characters in this very funny and entertaining play.

My favourite was the second act.

We had middle seats in row J and they were perfect. My only criticism was that the theatre was incredibly hot and stuffy. Others around us were also complaining. I only had a cotton dress on and my husband had pants and a linen shirt. We were both sweating!

📸 is the view from our seats

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is MUST SEE

The actors and actresses did very well, the production team, the effects, the script etc is all magical. Kudos!

Booked stalls L2 and L3, see photos for the view.

I will rewatch again and try the seats upstairs ❣️

Brilliant theatre! I'm not a fan of harry potter but the show was really good. Excellent acting, incredible special effects and for the Harry potter fan I took she loved it! The staff were incrediblely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! The security team was great, we had access entry and great seats. Hannah one of the staff had to keep us company in the access area and she was brilliant! The kiosks were full, the toilets clean. Overall a great time and day!
Wir waren zu dem MJ Musical dort. Ein wunderschönes Theater. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder !
This was our first time at this theatre. We went to see Plaza Suite which was phenomenal! Sarah and Matthew were incredible. While the first act is a bit heavy the comedy of the next 2 will have you in stitches. It surpassed all my expectations!! Absolutely a 5 🌟Show!

While the play was fantastic, it was the venue that let the night down a bit. Legroom in the Dress circle is almost nonexistent but the worst part was how hot and stuffy the theatre got. It made the 3 hours very uncomfortable. In spite of that we had a lovely evening watching these two at their best.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is an amazing play. Did the two parter in a day. While the seats were a bit tight towards my knees, the view towards the stage was phenomenal.
Mountbatten Festival of Musik
Die Reise hat sich (mal wieder) gelohnt!
Wunderbar, die Musik, das Ambiente, die Stadt!
Wir lieben es!
Michael Jackson Musical!
Leute, das müsst ihr euch anschauen!
Went to see Back to the Future and we were not disappointed. The stage effects alone made the show, Doc was a fantastic character and the whole show paid tribute to the film. The setup in the foyer and the stairs was also fantastic and felt like you were part of the film.
Moulin Rouge is a fantastic show. The cast, music and sound system were brilliant. Seats we had in the Royal Circle were great with a good view of the show. Certainly would recommend going to see the show.
Visited midweek to see Back to the Future the musical...staff were really friendly, drinks and snack prices what you would expect for a west end theatre. Seats had better leg room than most we've visited... The show was amazing and I can't recommend It enough....What you waiting for, go book tickets now 😁

Loved this place. Very cosmopolitan friendly and happy staff. Loved the free water decanter on the bar. Sew puddles on the main stage. small and intimate about 150 seats.
Lovely theatre, not bad legroom in the seating on the royal balcony and a great view of the stage. We went to see Moulin Rouge, which is excellent but the sound is very loud (even by theater show standards).
I always wanted to go to Shakespeare Globe threate tour
Our tour guide for today was a lovely young lady named Paige
She gave a very lively, brilliant, full positive energy tour
The tour itself took roughly 45 mins
At the start of the tour, you greeted friendy reception
You go down a flight of steps into a waiting area
Once their you are taken around to the theatre, you are told not to take photos if the actors are on stages having dress rehearsal, which is understable
Lucky for our group we we we we we we we aloud to do this
You are given a 20-minute talk about the history of the theatre
We then were taken up into the higher parts of the baloney so you could look down at the stage from a higher view it did feel quite restricted in where could go
Once that had finished, the tour was over. You couldn't get to explore the other parts of the globe as it meant I couldn't get more photos of where the box seats were.
You have an museum, & gift shop which was cool
If I go back, it has to be to see a play
Have to say I think it's a little bit expensive £26 but it goes towards keeping the theatre up keep .they do put on a wide range of different performance shows, so I will have a look at some point
We saw the show «Back to the Future - the Musical» which was a great and quite supprising show. Impossible to rate this theatre without the show, but I think the facilities was quite fresh and clean. The place itself was small but surprisingly it felt quite roomy. Nice bars and great selection of snacks and drinks. I recommend the show if you are here in 2024.
Very unusual in terms of most London theatres in that entering in at street level (The Strand), the theatre actually goes down and surprisingly deep.
Good views though and reasonable legroom for an average (175cm) height person like myself.
We saw "Plaza Suite", which we thought was very well performed, despite some negative reviews from when it first opened.
The first act (and first half) was pretty heavy going, but the second act (of three) was a delight with both Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker in tip -top form.

Lovely place, went to see Sarah Keyworth in the main theatre. Really lovely atmosphere, good toilets. Gets a bit busy pre-show but it's managed very well. Definitely looking to come back!
Back to the Future: The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre in London is a must-see production with a stellar cast, captivating music, and a delightful blend of nostalgia for the older generation and an introduction for newcomers to the 1980s movies. The cast skillfully embodies the characters, and the sets and effects are visually stunning. The mix of familiar and new songs adds to the overall greatness. While a familiarity with the story enhances the experience, the play is a visual treat for everyone. Unexpectedly, the comedy sprinkled throughout the performance is pure gold, making it a truly enjoyable experience. For any Back to the Future fan, this theatrical masterpiece is not to be missed—I left the theatre yearning to watch it all over again. Simply stunning
Moulin Rouge the musical

Positives:

The set design was impressive, even from a limited view.
The lighting changes were well-rehearsed and effectively conveyed the mood of the musical.
The acting was strong, and the humor was well-received.

Areas for improvement:

The view from the last row of the first floor was obstructed by the ceiling and speakers, making it difficult to see the full set design and some of the action on stage.
The sound quality was inconsistent, with dialogue sometimes being too soft and singing being too loud.
The inclusion of over 30 songs that were not in the movie felt unnecessary and may have been an attempt to extend the show's length.
Overall:

The show had some positive elements, but the obstructed view and sound issues detracted from the experience. Choosing better seats and addressing the sound quality could significantly improve the enjoyment of the performance.
Had a fantastic time at the Aldwych, went to seeTina the Tina Turner musical.
Great evening of entertainment and the young lady playing Tina was fantastic.
One of the best shows I seen..... and as Tina sang it was Simply the Best.
We went on the tour of the Globe, and it was truly one of my favorite experiences in London. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate about Shakespeare. I could feel her energy and passion as she spoke about the history behind the Globe. Additionally, I loved the gift shop. There were so many things that I wanted to buy, but there was a limited amount of space in my suitcase that I had to be mindful of. If I'm ever able to return to London, I will revisit this place.
This theatre has such history having opened in 1928. My wife and I were so fortunate to be here in April 2023 while on our honeymoon. This was a highlight of that trip, watching Moulin Rouge! The Musical at this historic theatre. The sets were absolutely elaborate and amazing. The artistes were stellar. The atmosphere was electrifying. The ticket prices were steep but not exorbitant. We will always remember that night in London! 🙏🏻
Fabulous! Booked to see Hansel and Gretal. Not what we expected, a more alternative production, but very funny! It was our first time going there(I have always wanted to go to see a production there), so it's very worthwhile. We were lucky to see two television actresses, but all the actors were truly good, and we thoroughly enjoyed the production.

Remember, during the colder months, this is an outside theatre. Take a light blanket and wrap up warm!!! You can rent cushions to sit on for £3, but be aware it is wooden seating. The theatre itself is a real work of art!

You can walk in on the day and pay for cheap tickets, but you will be standing during the whole production. They sometimes use the standing area to move around sets. Very fun, but just be aware.

Nice outside cafe, good hot drinks and there is also a restaurant/cafe indoors in the new building to sit down and eat.

Great little shop, but it's expensive, a tourist hotspot . There are a few bits of costume/props from different productions on display (They could really set up a larger permanent costume display, I think it would be interesting. My little one loved the few bits that they had displayed! He found it very interesting).

All in all, a good afternoon out. Lovely views of the Thames and St. Paul's. Loads of places to eat out and Borough Market on the doorstep, what's not to love!

Great atmosphere, good seating arrangements, and options to sit at table or sofa etc. Really good vibe both outside and inside the venue the staff are really friendly and chatty. Excellent place!
Immer wieder gerne!

Came to see back to the future today. You queue in different lanes outside before entering. Upon entering our tickets were checked and you have access to the large bar area and other eatery, visit the toilet before the show as they get VERY busy during the interval. The show itself was amazing, actors were great, although sitting on row A did mean we were tilting our heads up sometimes and couldn't quite see the back of the stage. The staff were friendly finding your seats and made it very clear when we could film the final part of the show! Would 100% recommend!!
Großartiges und wunderschönes Konzertgebäude. Erstklassig Konzerte. Unglaubliches Ambiente. Wir kommen bereits regelmäßig seit vielen Jahren. Immer ein tolles Erlebnis. Unsere absolute Empfehlung.
Wir waren hier im Phantom of the opera.
Lovely old theatre, watched Tina Turner musical. Sat in Grande circle and view was very good, though seats fairly cozy and compact. Show was great.

Seats have a good rake so great view. Plenty of toilets, no dreaded queues like some other theatres. Friendly staff. Nice place.

Recently also went to see Murder Trial play, which was excellent.
