Absolutely fantastic park, you can see all of Birmingham from there, the view is pretty and the park is pretty big, perfect fpr having a picnic or a Sunday walk in the park.
I'd recommend going early in the morning,
Or stay in the evening to watch the sunset 🌇 it is amazing.
Haven't seen litter or at least not in the main areas, *guys, please pick your rubbish behind you. It is so easy to do, and it is beneficial to all. There are bins at the car park, so use that.

Wonderful place to see the beautiful views, wildlife and bluebells !
Such a great place to explore and walk. Really good for families with children too as there plenty of open spaces for them to run about and also loads of places for them to explore!
You can get a fantastic walk done up there and on a clear day you can see for miles !

Great small park and coffee shop 👌
Nice for a long walk especially in the summer and it's great for the kids to run around and let off some steam and there's ducks and swans to feed.
Visited in spring session. Good to see cherry blossoms.

Picturesque, well landscaped park, with stream, bridges, field, tennis courts, bowling green and playground, the latter of which is on a concrete base so kids can play without getting muddy. 11 bus stops right by it and it's over the road from Bournville green shops and Cadbury World.
Car parking is limited to a few places, however, you can park on Bournville Green or on a road nearby fairly easily on most occasions.

Wonderful selection of varied walks, which includes quiet bluebell woods and blustery hilltop vistas. Perfect for dog walkers and trail runs. Great cafe with plenty of outdoor seating. Toilets a bit smelly, but at least it has some. Outdoor tap to wash boots, dogs, etc. Large car park, but requires payment, although takes contactless. Come for the convenience, facilities and lovely varied walks.

This park is simply beautiful all year round. There is so much more than just the children’s play area (which could be improved) - the expansive space has many different routes which are grassy and provide stunning views and a walk through directly to Manor Farm Park. Ideal for strolls, bike rides or dog walks. If you wish to explore there’s some little tracks which go through woodland areas where you can find ponds, a small wildlife reserve and spot all sorts of flora and fauna. My only wish is that the Community centre was open with a cafe and access to the toilets all year round
One of the best open spaces in the midlands. I love that this area feels unchanged and unspoilt - I have been visiting for years and it’s quite simply beautiful no matter what time of year you visit. With free parking you can enter the park from a variety of different routes and explore nature until your heart is content. The Birmingham rangers do an excellent job of managing such an expansive space. The visitors centre is small with toilet facilities and basic refreshments and the cafe only takes cash (the last time I went) - there is also a small play area which the little ones love. The best thing is the view at the top of the hill - it’s worth the walk
Beautiful place for a walk, day or evening. It’s a wonderfully unique place with different sculptures and unique views of brum
Great place for socializing and hanging out with friends and family. My favourite part of the park is the basketball and football pitch but I think it would be also cool if they repaired the zipline.
Dogs love it, Squirrels come upto you and like a nut or seed from you.
There's lots for kids to do too in ther play area. Feed the birds and squirrels. There's even a Robin.

Calm and quiet place for a peaceful walk. Very beautiful park with a pool, lots of pigeons, swans and ducks. Apart of these lots of squirrels were here. Best place to spend your free time and weekend with family or alone or with kids.There is playground for toddlers. And a wide space for car parking as well. Complete mood changer place. Dog- friendly
Great place for children and dogs. Lots of green. The park is good little dated but children have fun in it Lovely walk around plenty of space for bikes, dog walking and running would recommended. Parking was ok also!
Overall very characterful, nice place to be, with range of vegetation, naturalistic stream and paths for strolling. Could do with better space planning generally, towards a a wider range if uses for types of people, several of areas don't really do much/ are pretty much inactive areas, newer added features (playground) could be updated, and have better integration in functionality and to the overall Bournville design character.
Bournville is a tranquil park with a magnificent array of trees including my favourite Canadian giant Redwood and the Crocuses were just coming out
Great place for dog walking! Loads of places to explore with little paths going off into woodlands. There's a visitor centre with clean toilets and refreshments. We only noticed one place where we needed to put Jeff on the lead. The rest of the time he was able to bound around freely. He had an absolute ball here.
My favourite Boxing Day destination, but actually beautiful in any season. Not that many miles of trails for the seasoned hiker, but still a brilliantly convenient escape to the hills for those of us living in the hellish West Midlands.
This was a great place, plenty of different walking paths with awesome views, lots of free parking near the visitor centre, a cafe in the visitor centre with a seating area inside and outside. A couple of monuments to see, benches everywhere to sit down on and take in the lovely scenery and a play area for the children. A good place for couples, families and dog walkers. There are toilets too.
My peaceful spot. This park is very quiet and peaceful. Not much people hang out there usually. Good recommendation for running, exercising.

It was fun for the kids, the basket ball court, the swings and other play ground items were fun for the kids, also the kids had an opportunity to feed the lake animals and enjoy the vast view of the lake. The environment was very dog-friendly, there was no restroom in sight, the picnic area was large, clean and the grass was well kept.
Beautiful park. Friends of senneleys Park keep it so lovely, and nuisance visitors are dealt with quickly. I also love the locals I encounter who are lovely and friendly. I don't agree with people using the park as quad bike experience but can't have everything

A calm place for a pleasant evening. For kids, there is a play area. There are lots of ducks and swans to feed. You can enjoy feeding pigeons as well. Bring something to feed them. Not to forget squirrels. They are friendly as well.
Have a walk around the pond. They have markings for distance too. Good place for relaxing and photoshoot. You have parking around the park. Free street parking.

Such a nice local park! This park is so nice I wish I could own it. With spaces for a picnic, a playground, dog walks and nature hunts. It has a lake with swans and duck and I love seeing their chick's at spring time. The front of the park is a grass open field, amazing for running and picnic areas. This park is very clean and you won't find any dog droppings on the floor. I would recommend going near the edge of the playground for a picnic as their are people walking their dogs, running and playing football. What a great park!
Calthorpe Park offers serene greenery and ample space for leisure. However, its charm diminishes due to the lack of facilities. Absence of amenities like benches or recreational areas limits its potential as a well-rounded park experience. Ideal for a quiet stroll, but falls short for those seeking diverse activities.
The park needs more equipment for children and adults to enjoy.

A lovely place to visit. Lots of different walking trails, good for a walk with kids and dogs.
You will get a beautiful panoramic view from the top of the hill. Remember to bring the hiking shoes or boots as some trails having muddy pathways.
Paid parking and amenities like cafe, restroom etc. are available.

Gorgeous park, perfect for a morning walk on a clear day
Very nice park for a walk or seat down and enjoy a bit of calm surrounded by large beautiful trees.
Lovely playground and really pretty park for nice walks. Other interesting features little ones love like living willow tunnels and wooded areas.
No guaranteed toilets unfortunately as the building it is in is only open when volunteers run it.
The coffee shop is lovely when it is open though.

One of the coolest parks in Birmingham. Good for kids and family. Quiet place. It has a pond too.
Lovely open space, free parking and lovely woodlands and a great walk and benches everywhere to relax and plenty of grass areas for picnics, just be aware of the loose dogs but overall lovely walk and scenic as well. Has a nice play area for kids so something for them to do
Very beautiful park with the Bourn Brook flowing through, and a children's playground
Good for small walks and dogs.
A lovely circular walk with the dogs for an hour off lead and all secure. Their call back is good and they don’t generally bother anyone else but us. Had lunch after in the cafe(dogs not allowed inside) so we put them in the boot for some quiet down time. The log burner was on, food was great as well as the service from the two very pleasant ladies who were chatty and very helpful. A very pleasant experience, won’t hesitate to come back as we live quite local. The car park machine I think we’re card only ? Didn’t seem an option for cash… £2 for 2 hours which suited us or I think £3 all day. Very good compared to some places. Plentiful spaces at this time of year (Feb)
Lovely walk around the lake, spent half an hour in the hide watching a heron and an egret and other birds. Place is kept lovely and clean with a group of volunteers. Nice visitor centre where we enjoyed a cup of tea while watching the birds feed. I bought 3 pin badges and a plant for the garden. Nice place to spend a couple of hours.
Really glad to have found out about this location, it's fantastic. The area is huge and I can't emphasise that enough, it's vast.

We spoke to the warden (who has an office behind the cafe) and he told us the problem was that it was a new machine and it was getting damp inside and rebooting itself. So there is someone to ask instead of worrying about getting a parking ticket.
The hills themselves are rather steep and uneven and might not be ideal for everyone. We had a pushchair and while not impossible it was difficult in places. It is a really good place to take a dog for a walk, as there are large open fields at the top.
When you get to the top though, the views are stunning, such a lovely place that's so close to the city.

Lovely park. Nice mix of areas , wild, picnic, dog walking, cycling, and fitness area. My last visit was spoilt by two 'adults' walking very large dogs off lead that they couldn't control.

Brilliant park, that is massive. Woodlands, open grassland, children's playground and football pitches make up part of this beautiful area.
Amaizing. Its a very beautiful lake surrounded by greenery and a jogging tracks. Good for weekend camping and just a leisure walk or a jog in the park. Must visit. Good for a change on a weekend away from the usual busy city life.
Excellent tower stands within Severn Trent Depot, I believe this is a chimney once taking smoke from the fires that helped drive the steam pumps long ago.
Didnt get to walk into the park, but just walking alongside it on the pavement, the sun shining through leaves and tree branches bathing you in warm sunlight. Ducks paddling in the pond and squirrels foraging and nibbling. Made the walk very enjoyable and brightened up my day (metaphorically and literally)
Very green and leafy park with lots of trees, a duck pond, play area with swings and slides for children. It's a great area to spend time with family and has enough space for all activities like dog walking, football, picnic and running.
