Smells of urine, graffiti everywhere you look. Dirty disgusting car park. Vehicles regularly broken into. It was great when NCP had it, now its run by Manchester council it's awful.
I wouldn't recommend using it.

The Car Park was priced ok for our needs and was better than 2 x Return Metrolink Tickets

Clean & Tidy and NO problems entering/exiting with the vehicle having booked a space online and entering the Reg.

Only downside (as mentioned by alot of others) is the Car Park and Spaces are VERY NARROW and I drive a Focus! Even had to let people out before backing into a space

Please be very careful if you choose to park here! I had my laptop, coat and sunglasses stolen from my car so do not leave anything of value inside your vehicle! I believe area is being targeted. YourParkingSpace accepts no liability and found to be very unhelpful. Choose somewhere else!

Very unpleasant experience arriving back in the uk and having to wait at a bus stop outside the terminal in the freezing cold in the early hours of Sunday morning for an hour for the bus to take us back to the car park. When we called we were told it would be 20 minutes, if we'd known it would be an hour we'd have stayed inside the terminal to keep warm. An unpleasant end to our holiday and so won't use this company again.

Hassle-Free Parking Experience at NCP Manchester

I recently parked at the NCP Manchester parking facility and had a wonderful experience. The location was convenient, being near the city center, making it easy to access various attractions and amenities. The parking lot was well-maintained and felt safe and secure throughout my visit.

The booking process was simple and straightforward, allowing me to reserve my parking spot in advance. Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and helpful, guiding me to an available parking space. The rates were reasonable, especially considering the prime location.

I appreciated the ease of entry and exit with the convenient electronic access system, and the availability of 24/7 customer service provided peace of mind. Overall, my experience at NCP Manchester was hassle-free and I would highly recommend it to anyone in need of reliable parking in the area.

I will definitely be using NCP Manchester for my future parking needs.

BEWARE!!!!!!! - this is no longer self park. This is only shown in miniscule writing at the very bottom of their webpage. We were shocked to find on arrival that we had to leave our keys with rude, discourteous staff and hope for the best. It was fine last year before they changed to self park. They told us that none of the airport car parks are now self park, which is absolute nonsense. Will not be using this car park again - will use one that lets me keep my keys.

It was my first time to use a car park close an airport.
The best choice I made. No stress for delay or cancelled train, no stress for looking for a spot where park, no stress of queue.
I left my car for 3 weeks. The carpark it is 10min from airport.
They provide the bus or minivan to arrive at the Terminal departure and back from Terminal to car park.
My return flight was delayed 😑 and I made a call from the airport to the staff and letting them know.
The man on phone was so kind and told me there was no problem, and call he back after I had arrived.
Definitely I will choose them again.

I’m writing this as I listen to the car parks incredibly loud alarm blare at 8.30am on a Saturday. Please can someone do something about it. It goes off at all times of the day for long periods and has done for years. I’ll remove this review once this has been remedied but in the meantime I have no idea who to contact as NCP say it’s nothing to do with them.

Was visiting a restaurant nearby and this car park was recommended to me. The spaces are quite small and markings on the floor are not very visible. There are columns everywhere! I managed to find a space as I drove in on the first level but I had no idea where other levels were. Some spaces had numbers against them on the floor but no explanation on the walls as to what these numbers were so I stayed away from these in case they were allocated spaces and I got a ticket!

I used the app to pay when I was leaving. I had already installed the app on my phone so when I opened to leave it new my entry time. I paid £5.45 for 2 hours plus some kind of charge for 55p so it made it £6!

I used the car park on a Tuesday evening. It's wasn't too busy but plenty of people coming and going. I'm not sure I'd use it at the weekend or during peak times as I found it very stressful finding a space.

The stairwell from-1 to the exit was full of puddles.

Car park operates “dynamic pricing” without telling you what that means. Cost me £24.95 to park from 6pm - 9am. Many much cheaper car parks 30 seconds from here.

Also, the layout of the car park isn’t great. Floor marking don’t lead you where they should.

Avoid this place.

If I could give negative stars I would. No signs to say its pay before you leave so ended up paying twice as it won't let you pay on return so got stung. The carpark stunk strongly of urine near the stairs. Lots of dodgy characters on the stairs drinking and using drugs and teen gangs smashing cars with a road cone and setting the fire alarm off. An unnerving experience even for a man. They need to get is gated off from people other than customers.

Won't be using this carpark again. Parked over night came back to my passenger front window smashed in. Was going to spend the day in Manchester but instead spent an hour trying to sort my window and driving home on back roads. There is no CCTV and the door is broken so anyone can get in.

Parked here Saturday 30/03/24 evening was easy enough to find some road works around the area with closed roads confused the sat nav, but still easy enough. I can see why it’s got low reviews but it did exactly what it says “carpark” I parked my car it’s not the cleanest nor conventional parking but you can park… I’m unsure if it’s under reconstruction and keeping some of the carpark open while this happens.. it does seem like a building site as you drive through, lots of parking for your smaller (city) cars big SUV’s it’s a bit tight for parking due to the amount of support pillars in the actual bays. But managed to park my bmw X5. At night it’s dark and dingy lights are activated with movement so I can see why people have had cars broken in too, keep things out of sight from prying eyes. No broken glass on the floor when I drove through if there had of been I may not of parked. I would use this carpark again.

£29.95 for 4hrs, no clear pricing. Ludicrous.

Secure and safe, can only enter if you type your number plate in the screen outside. Extremely overpriced, £9.90, if you park over an hour. There is signs showing cheaper prices, only if you have an auto pay account - which is currently not working. Had multiple parking tickets from autopay not working and missing a payment.

£6 an hour? Do not come here

Absolute scam. I have the hopeless app and parked last night at Manchester Central to go to Bridgewater hall. Arrived at 7.45 and left just over 3 hours later. App advertises Evening Rate of £7.95. Checked the app this morning & it has not picked up the parking session but have been on the "Pay Later" page and after putting car reg in I'm being charged £17.80 for 3 hours on a Sunday evening!!!! Complete IT scam, the app is valueless, barriers have been removed to perpetuate this scam if not a app held barcode option would be available.

Was worried with all the reviews of breakins and fines. Car Park feels safe, shutters on vehicle entrance/exit and secured lock on the pedestrian door. Well lit car park. Advice for those marking worried about breakins, empty your car and leave your glove box, central console and back seats down to show thieves there's nothing in your car.

No clear instructions on where to park on arrival, fire alarm going constantly, the 24/7 support staff or contact ended up unavailable (replied to WhatsApp 8 hours later), flooded filthy stairs and corridors with no lighting in places, no visible cctv, felt very unsafe, is that building even fit for use? Appeared under construction.

Worst car park I've ever been in! Car spaces barely fit in am average size car. Smallest bays I've ever cone across! Stupid roller shutter exit doors continuously lock trapping cars in! Massive delays exiting. I'd NEVER park here again!

We parked here to see Pretty Woman at the Palace. Big Mistake. Big. HUGE.

The spaces are incredibly tight and every spot has a column to make it that little bit more fun. The walls are painted black which makes it hard to judge the distance on a reversing camera and there is a lip at the top of the waist high wall which protrudes. Since it’s above the height of parking sensors you have to be VERY careful.

After the show it took us over half an hour to get out (after quite a long queue for the lifts).

Honestly, just don’t use this car park!

Having seen some of the reviews I was somewhat concerned regarding parking at this car park. Booked through the APP and although a little confusing I managed to book a slot. I initially booked a different date and needed to change this after submitting my booking. I couldn’t amend the original booking so had to cancel it and put a new booking in place. Easy to find as the postcode was spot on to the entrance. The car park was well lit, clean and bays wide enough for most vehicles. We plan to visit Manchester again at some point and would have no hesitation on booking through the APP and use this car park again.

Shame on you NCP we paid £50+ to park at your facility to be told the vehicle will be parked on a public road. Awful staff rude & threatening to call the police because I documented vans parked on the facility. Asked if the small print had been read at time of booking. When registering vehicle the vehicle was shown has Ford transit swb.

Just created an account with NCP but still can’t pre-book. Just a rubbish website and app. No idea what this car park is like because I don’t know if I will be able to use it.

This site does not automatically deduct from your account set up on NCP app. If you use the app you are fined £100 via the post reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.
There are no signs to say app automatic pay is not working so pay on the day you use parking. NCP are aware of this, still have not updated their signs.

Otherwise the car park has tight spaces, but great for using when visiting the theatre.

Didn't like the helter skelter entry and exit to and from the car park but other than this a safe place to park in the city centre

£30 for six hours?!? Anyone who thinks that is acceptable needs their head read.

He came running out to me and my family whilst we were looking for the staircase to get to our car. .
Incredibly intimidating and abusive.
I'd avoid this car park at all cost!

Not much to say, it's a carpark.
Found a parking spot really easy, and paying was easy enough. No tickets, just works off camera.
Although there was a man being attended to by paramedics in the stairway, while his drunk friend was stumbling about. It was 11am in the morning.
Also, some guy had a little stall he set up in the parking lot with all soft toys on it.
OK maybe there was quite a bit to say after all. 😂

Two words - Never Again

Awful experience, the walkways smell of urine, the prices have gone up so parking 5hrs is around £25 and the cheeky sods managed to charge twice. I'm sure parking in the canal would have been a better experience.

Expensive con. Signs all over the outside offer an evening rate of £7.95 after 6.30pm. No asterisks or blackouts mentioned at all.
So what did I pay? £19. 75
I have rated a few NCP car parks in Manchester. Some 4 star, but not this. Deceptive advertising and predatory pricing. Avoid.

Good car park plenty of spaces close to shops and easy to find. I had no issues finding the pay meter at all. It’s well signposted where they are

Don't pay via the app or if you do record yourself selecting the correct number of stay hours because this is yet another review in which the app purchased a 24 hour stay despite 4 hour / evening rate being selected. And so begins the fight for my money back.
The spaces are small (as in let your passenger out before parking small), they've painted it grey and black so now you can see where people haven't been able to make it around corners. I drive hatchback and wouldn't take anything bigger in there.
Edit: used car park on 8/1, refunded on 10/01. Added another star for speed of refund.

This carpark isn't even worth 1 star.review but you can't leave zero.
I parked here last evening while attending the BridgeWater Hall and my car had been broken into upon my return by someone with a criminal key. They were after processions left inside.
I saw others cars with windows smashed so we were lucky. Will never park here again.

This was pretty much on-pavement parking but don't let it fool you that it's free - the wardens were out and ticketing people even as we found a spot. Because it's on-pavement the rates were pretty good for city centre parking but it does feel like you're abandoning your vehicle rather than parking it, especially with the heavy graffiti all over the place. We stayed for 4 hours without incident, though.
