Amazing food, great service. All staff were smiley and available, no pressure to order, just perfect. Tried many Mediterranean restaurants in London, this is top. The mezze was spectacular and abundant, the slow cooked lamb mouthwatering. Great evening with friends!
Have had several lovely meals over the past few years at Amber - lunches and dinner - and was really keen to bring a visiting friend here to check out brunch. We had a really lovely and substantial meal, with fresh juices and Monmouth coffee. I had the shakshuka which was a pretty large portion, but really tasty and served with great bread to mop it up. Friends had the vegan avocado on sourdough, and a breakfast pita (bacon, egg, cucumber, lettuce, mustard tahini). Service was warm and friendly as usual and the blonde wood, concrete and leafy plants provide a relaxing backdrop. Can't wait to return!

Came here with my friend Mike who’s a regular customer - and I can see why. Amazing. We had a selection of starters and I had the mixed grill. Delicious. Their chilli sauce certainly has a kick! Koftas were juicy and succulent as were the chicken and lamb kebabs. Perfectly cooked. Great service. Attentive and polite. They had live music in the basement on the Friday night. My only minor complaint was that my lamb chop was overdone. The fresh bread was delicious.

As someone who has been craving good shawarma, the place ended up disappointing but if you’ve not had shawarma before, this is a good place to try out an alternative to Middle Eastern food. I’m indian and know when pickles are great taste enhancers and when it is a gimmick 😳

I was pleasantly surprised with the use of Indian pickles to tahini, hummus and offering shawarma without the grill or char . But in the end the surprise died down after the 1st two bites and I just missed on the flavour that comes with a good shawarma.

The falafel was too dense and over fried. Too pricey for what is served and would recommend alternatives that are wholesome mid east restaurants.

The beer I had wasnt too bad.

Came for a university event here with a set menu from the restaurant. The food was okay but very bland and lacked significant flavour. The service was also average with staff being slightly attentive but to the mediocre food, I wouldn’t recommend.

Had a really nice time, food was good and presentation was interesting. The highlight for us for the octopus, which was cooked perfectly (probably the best octopus I had in a while). Portions aren’t huge but that’s likely on purpose, so you can experience more dishes.
I can't express enough gratitude to Napoleon and Binshi for their exceptional hospitality at Aline. Their warmth and friendliness truly enhanced our dining experience.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a treat. The starter, main course and dessert were nothing short of exquisite. Each dish burst with authentic Lebanese flavours, showcasing the chef's mastery in the kitchen.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful culinary journey. With such delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, we can't wait to return for another memorable meal.

Delicious food, shared a range of starters and mains, the menu is short and everything sounded good! Friendly staff. Cocktails are okay.
The quality has dropped here. There are no wet wipes anymore and the chips is not served with food
Excellent food and the manager provided the best recommendations. Customer service is outstanding!

Definitely try the hummus with peanut curry pesto - it’s truly unique.
I tried lunch and breakfast and i really liked the food so much. All the food tastes great and fresh. The staff are welcoming and the manager was so nice and he explained all the details of the menu to me.

Very happy with the overall food quality and the service was friendly.

The starters were bigger than we expected and they were delicious!

For mains, we ordered the special braised lamb cooked with plums and apricots and seafood risotto. The succulent lamb just tears apart without a knife, absolutely delightful!

The seafood risotto was surprisingly tasty. All the seafood was perfectly cooked, super tender and not chewy at all. The risotto was incredibly creamy with a special touch of Mediterranean flavour. Yum!

We shared the kunefe which was served warm. You can tell that the dessert was homemade and the toasted pistachio was amazing! Paired seamlessly with soft cheese centred kadaif.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back again!
We always love to go Colbeh but this time it was a birthday dinner. We were a family of 15 and we waited for over one and a half hours but it was worth the wait. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed every single dish; great food and we strongly recommend Colbeh for authentic Persian cuisine.

Genuinely torn about how to rate this restaurant. Some of the dishes were absolutely delicious but the portions were so small as to come across as being mean. Touted as a sharing plates establishment, the quantity meant a group of 3 basically had a single mouthful of each plate. I guess that would be ok had the price point been reasonable but it was not. Business rates being Soho high really does not justify a bill of £260 for 5 dishes and 2 bottles of mediocre wine.

Front of house were on the whole great but our direct server just had an odd almost irritable attitude as to make the dining experience a little tainted. Way too many greater more reasonably priced alternatives in Soho I’m afraid to make me want to come back here.
A five-star. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The kitchen team demonstrated skill, creativity, and attention to detail in crafting each dish. I would highly recommend dining here.
Hummus and fried chicken were delicious as were all our mains but in particular the veggie options. We were stuffed and felt like we got really good value for money. Writing this though because service was exceptional even though it was very busy - Ferris in particular really looked after us. Great place to go for a catch up with friends that has something for everyone and doesn’t break the bank.
Delamina is a familiar name to us having visited the branch in Shoreditch previously. Food is consistently good and I particularly enjoyed the shwarma; beef is tender, has a touch of sweetness which could be molasses added to the marinade, served on pita bread and creamy hommous. But shout out to the service staff. We had a toddler with us and they were helpful with the stroller, even giving a spot to park the stroller.
Aditya is very helpful and né helped me choose the best meal for me

Great aroma as soon as you walk into the restaurant. Food was above expectations, well presented and unlike most places the portions were more than adequate per person. The lamb chops in particular were succulent and large.

The gentleman we were server by, Alim was incredibly friendly, attentative and quick to answer any questions we had. I would definitely come again!

Nice area, packed walk in restaurant. Food is ok. Hummus was very good, Babaganoush definitely far too much smoke taste, I would not order this one again. Shawarma was oily but very tasty. The Lamb kebab was a bit a surprise, only meat with some fresh herbs ? At that price? Overall food was really ok but not reason for me to come back as nothing special. Very nice and friendly service. Small and packed location.
It was a fun experience. It was our first day here in London and was looking for food . We came to this place and it was more than I have expected. Food was great, tasty and affordable.. Ema was kind to let us know which food is good for us and for the kiddos . Thank you and we will come again :)
Very kind and friendly customer service.

Nice, tidy and quite place.

I visited with my daughter and my friends, they was really satisfied.

Good food.

I love the bread, perfect preparation, crusty and tasty....

Same as chips...

Really nice interior.

Family friendly.

Great friendly customer service !Spetial thanks to Adette for the great service definitely coming back :)

Yeni is offering a modern look to the Turkish cuisine. Everything is extremely delicious. Every bite is another sensation. Chef is very attentive and takes care of each and every customer. Highly recommended.
After trying their dishes in Bucharest, when I arrived in London I knew I have to visit this place and was totally worth it. So great flavours, that will make you come back and try each option in the menu. The restaurant also has some nice choices of drinks. Really friendly service and nice and cozy atmosphere.
My friend told me about this place and was so delicious, Aryan was extremely helpful in explaining the options and helping us order.

The Doritos Crunch Burger I went beef but could have either Chicken or both, what a fab idea, flaming fries were divine too.

Even went for some Spring Rolls 2 of each shared between us, although not bit difference in which one was what.

One of the most spectacular meals we’ve had in our 20 years of living in London. Each dish is exquisite, with complex flavours. Not rushed, each plate is given the time to enjoy. Wine selected is beautiful, for us, red is worked beautiful with these dishes! Will definitely come again and recommend

Best modern Turkish food I’ve ever had. Both Yeni Mantis and lamb dish are out of this world. Everyone I brought here or sent here loved it! Also great wine selection, big fan of Partida Creus
My dinner here was amazing. I really wanted to try persian food and it was over what I expected. The chicken and rice was amazing and the bread was made at the moment and huge. They are really gentle and help you order if you want to try something typical. The olives were offered and really tasty!
Big up for the dessert with tea, a nice ending for an amazing dinner. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
The most authentic and delicious Lebanese food in London. Attentive and friendly staff with a cosy atmosphere- book in advance to avoid disappointment! I’ve come here with friends, family and for work and Aline always delivers. Delicious - highly recommend!
We arrived around 7pm the place was busy but we were able to get a seat at the counter.
We are served pretty soon, and the orders came out quickly.
The Andana kebab was tasty, with good flavours and the hummus was smooth and creamy with nice tang from the tahini

Recommended by a local to try out the dishes here, had high hopes but weren’t particularly impressed by the execution except for the french toast. Of course, it may be that the taste of these dishes just didn’t suit our fancy.

All the savoury breakfast dishes were heavily seasoned for us (being the first thing you eat in the morning) other than the dish with the kale salad. That at least had the freshness and citrusy of the vegetable and dressing to cut through the richness and creaminess.

We were thankful that we ordered the french toast as it really helped changed up the taste with the sweetness of the fruits and crunchiness of the toasted bread.

Matcha latte also needed much improvement but I understand that it’s not a Japanese restaurant so…

Overall, I’d re visit to try other dishes but would hope for a more welcoming, more efficient hospitality next time.

Best Persian restaurant in London! Perfect food quality with reasonable pricing! Everything was perfect! Food was fresh ! Service was excellent! The manger helped us finding a good table! She welcomed us and didn’t wait so long ! Thanks so much for such an experience
Loved my dinner for one at the Chef's corner. All staff very kind, helpful and fun. A true pleasure being front row with view on the great cooks working together seamlessly. All dishes prepared with much love and care resulting in true works of art. And the flavours just amazing. Thank you very much for having me. Looking forward to more to come whenever I am around. 🙏
This is probably the best Lebanese place I have been to in London so far. The place itself is pretty small and cozy. It’s clean and well maintained, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a wide selection of cold and hot mezze (starters) that are great to share. Hummus, yoghurt dip and baba ganoush were great. Halloumi was pretty good, too. Their cauliflower was surprisingly tasty! Their home made freshly baked bread was great, too. The flatbread was mediocre for the price and cold. Their main dish menu was not very wide, just a few grill options but the mixed grill was really good and the meat was juicy and tender. They also offered us some baklava on the house. Great place!
Excellent food in a lovely restaurant with a nice ambience. It gets busy here so definitely book in advance.

Great selection of vegetarian and also non-vegetarian options.

We had a team party here and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely.

Highly recommended.

The oyster mushrooms is amazing btw definitely order this one!

Lovely dining experience and delicious food! 96£ tasting menu, and bottles of wine were ~50-100£. The food was amazing, but it was quite loud in the restaurant due to all the hard surfaces on the interior. Unfortunately, the server splashed beat juice on my white shirt when clearing the large plate, souring my experience. Overall, I would return, but not at this price range for the service provided.

The food was amazingly good and everything tasted fresh. We were treated really pleasantly by the staff as well. Would recommend any day. A worthy tasting!
A flavourful and satisfying brunch experience! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I had the zucchini fritters, which had an authentic taste and were just delicious. I loved the atmosphere and vibe of the place.
I always get the meal deal of a chicken kebab, cheesy fries and a Pepsi! GDK never misses, it’s something that I get after a long day as a treat— Everything is perfectly made, with the right amount of veggies and the aroma is spectacular and it’s so delicious. And there’s amazing customer service :)
My partner and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at Delamina in Marylebone Lane, snagging a last-minute booking.

Initially displeased with our table by the entrance, our mood quickly shifted once our meals arrived, turning our initial dismay into contentment. This speaks volumes about Delamina's appeal, proving that even a seemingly unfavourable spot can become the highlight of the experience.

The menu boasted an impressive array of vegetable-centric dishes, rendering the meat and fish sections unnecessary for our consideration.

Our choices included the silky-smooth house hummus topped with slow-roasted tomatoes, seasoned brilliantly, and finished with crispy onions.

A highlight was the charred cauliflower, served with lemon-infused creme fraiche, pomegranate molasses, and seeds.

Another great dish is the grilled courgette, offered in two styles with a labneh drizzle, was equally captivating.

Their heirloom roasted violino pumpkin, resting on whipped manouri and sprinkled with almond and pistachio dukkah, stood out as well.

Also the rosary goat’s cheese salad, with its roasted pears, caramelised onions, and a harmonious mix of seeds and leaves, was visually appealing.

Not to be overlooked were the smaller dishes, such as the crispy rosemary potatoes atop garlic-infused yoghurt, which made a memorable impact.

We indulged in two exquisite desserts: the halva parfait and a rich dark chocolate and praline ganache.

The ambiance was cosy and relaxed, complemented by the friendly and prompt service. Delamina is a must-visit for anyone who loves Eastern Mediterranean cuisine, offering a vibrant dining experience whether for brunch, lunch, or dinner in a comfortable setting.

The dishes at this restaurant don't match the pictures, and the fish we saw on Google Maps isn't on the menu. So, friends planning to dine here, please take note. Additionally, their 'big plate' is overpriced and literally just a large plate with very little food. This restaurant offers poor value for money. Also, the lamb has a strong taste, so friends who dislike that flavor should avoid ordering it.

I rarely write reviews after dining, but the service at this restaurant was exceptionally poor. A female server had a sour expression the whole time, as if I owed her two million pounds. Moreover, as soon as we finished eating, she rushed to clear the table, as if she wanted us gone. We've dined in Scotland a few days ago and at a Malaysian restaurant in London yesterday, and this restaurant has by far the worst service. So it really doesn’t deserve the 12% service fare. I don't understand how it has such high ratings.

The perfect spot for a date night. This eastern Mediterranean restaurant is located near Marylebone station, and the decor is absolutely beautiful.

The food is unique and tasty, adding a twist to otherwise regular dishes. The salad was extremely tasty, fresh and tangy and hearty. Whilst the meat and fishes were perfectly cooked and not too heavy.

We were extremely impressed with Delmania’s version of the cheesecake, it looked nothing like a regular cheesecake, however it tasted familiar with an added texture.
Beautiful restaurant and very spacious! We were seated very quickly. All the food looked amazing. Both meals were really lovely, liked the range of drinks they had too! Would go back.
Love this spot - the aubergine sabich and the paneer bowl are delicious. The garlic naan and the broccoli are great appetisers. Good service, though it does get busy in the evenings. Will be back
What a fabulous little gem in the middle of a gorgeous market setting.

The food is superb, super tasty and, as fresh as can be. The staff are superb, Katorina who is the manager is a ray of sunshine and so attentive, she is truly a star.

If you’re in the area, swing past and try it for yourself.
Great ambiance and decor. Food was pretty good - do note that they do a 'small plates' concept. Taste and quality was executed very well, albeit portions were a little small for my liking. Would also be nice if the hummus came with bread.

Service was very good - just a minor miscommunication regarding the sides, but the staff fixed it up for us very promptly. Overall, would recommend!
Lovely restaurant and I'll be back. It's nice inside so it feels a bit special to be there without it being too formal or stuffy. The food is delicious, we had mainly the mezze and it was so good. The hummus was silky and unctuous. They were also accommodating of my large group, we booked in advance and I would recommend doing the same and pre-ordering like we did. Also the prosecco was really nice, in fact nicer than the champagne I had at the next venue afterwards! I think it might be a family owned restaurant and you can see the attention they've paid to it.

I really liked the service and ambiance. Me and my friend dine in during the Christmas time and specially chose this restaurant for the live music and entertainment. Unfortunately, there was a private event going on so couldn’t enjoy to that level what we expected. Neither it was informed on instagram where I double checked if it was happening.

Food was delicious but overpriced, in my opinion.
Booked with 3 friends for a total of 4 people. We were recommended that each of us orders about 3 dishes small/medium per person. We ordered a small plate or two and then all medium dishes including the sides.

Starting with the atmosphere, this was more of a quiet date vibe, as opposed to I'll have a meal with some friends and chat. I noticed some people may have been disturbed by us talking in a relatively normal volume (sorry 😅).

The flat iron steak was cooked medium by default and was paired excellently with their sauce and the smoked potatoes side. Likewise for the lamb, a delicious dish that was moist and pulled apart like butter. Highly recommended as center dishes so everyone can have a bite. The rest of the dishes were tasty but not too noteworthy.

The only thing to mention is that the breads (at least the corn bread) are of small portions. We ordered one corn bread as it was mentioned this was not considered a full dish, hence assumed it would come for the whole table, but a single slice came.

Shout Out to Asyak who was our server with a smile, keep it up! The staff can make or break a restaurant experience.

This is exactly the type of neighborhood gem that I would keep going back to, even though this was my first visit and certainly won't be the last!

- Food: bursting of flavors, plenty small plates, vegetarian options on offer; have 2-3 outstanding stables that I would return again and again for :)
- Service: warm and welcoming without over bearing; easy for walk-in on weekday night especially for solo diner
- Vibe: it is all about the vibe, unpretentious, rustic, contextually appropriate background music, effortlessly chill
- Wine/Drinks: full bar with low/no alcohol options. Short and well curated wine list
- Price: very reasonable for the quality and the neighborhood. That makes a return trip easy, ha.

So what did I get and which I will come back for (dined solo):
- Shawarma Cauliflower, dressed in tehina, pomegranate, zhug. Must have!! I have plenty roasted cauliflower in my life now at various middle eastern / mediterranean restaurants including some with Michelin star fame. However, the one at Shawarma Bar has to be one of the top 3 for what I can remember!!

- Iraqi hummus, aubergine, hard-boiled egg & s’chug. I opted for this one rather my usual benchmark dish - baba ganoush. It was oh-so creamy, nutty with hint of spice; the decorating zhug and pickles helped lighten up the dish and add contrasting textures. It was rich and came with a pillowy, warm pita that I didn't touch at all :) Barely finished 1/3. Probably better for share.

One pet pee: I love aubergine but the one slice accompanied the hummus was oddly out of the place - a bit dried / bland, didn't add to the flavor or the texture.

- Braised mushroom, sweet potato and spiced tomato sauce. Prob my least favorite tonight, a tad too sweet, starchy than my liking. Or maybe just didn't go well with the other plates I got, both of which were quite earth and scrumptious.

Also a note, the starter here are not exactly tapa size. For one, I ordered 2 starters and 1 size; finished half and boxed the rest home :) Lunch is solved.

Will be back and try more soon!
Delicious! Excellent tapas to start. Hummus had creamy and unexpectedly crunchy with some toppings. Don't know how exactly the courgette is made but it was damn good aubergine. We (two people) were pretty full with three starters, so the two mains were a bit much but the chicken was equally great — juicy and soft. Missed out on dessert this time but I remember that the Halva Parfait is incredible!

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, clean and tidy. The dishes are good, especially the sauces, rich flavours. However, I do feel there lacks some kind of balance in terms of the food. The dumplings are a small portion, more like a starter than a main course, making it a little overpriced, yet the dessert is a very large portion. The sauce of the dumplings is creamy, but a bit too salty. It would be perfect if there are more dumplings and less sauce. Similarly, the sauce of the dessert has a very strong flavour, and the meringue is really well baked, very soft and tender, I love both of them but they seem to not have a balance. I can imagine how wonderful it would taste if the sauce is topped on a slice of vanilla cheesecake. Hope there will be more choices on the menu.

This is a little gem indeed. We visited for a lovely Friday afternoon lunch with friends, and it was a memorable experience. I am well aquented with Lebanese cuisine and this place is the one to recommend. We really enjoyed the ambience, the staff and the quality of the meal. The person in charge was very friendly and accommodating, but nothing was too much trouble. Menus are simple, and quality over quantity of dishes is clearly their vision. We will definitely return. Thanks
Yummy food and very nice staff.

We didn’t have a reservation but easily got a table at a bar. The menu has great veggie selection. Reasonably priced & good portions.

Good atmosphere. Would come again.

My all time favourite Iranian restaurant. Consistently great fresh food and excellent service for over thirty years! It evokes memories of my childhood dinning table. Great fresh grilled lamb and Saffron infused Chicken Kebabs rice and freshly baked bread are superb. The daily ‘dish of the day’ are sumptuous dishes. Mine is Saturday’s Baghalli Polo. A divine dish of slow cooked Lamb Shank with dill and broad beans saffron rice. Alounak doesn’t take bookings.Evenings and weekends there’s a long queue but the wait is worth it! They don’t serve Alcohol but you can bring your own wine/beer. It’s open all day from 12.00pm seven days a week. Once you’ve dined here you’d want to come back again and again! I’ve been dinning here regularly on my own and with friends since Alounak first opened thirty years ago!

Came here on a Thursday evening around 5pm to have late lunch with my other two friends. Ordered 2 main dishes: Kebab Koobideh and Alounak Special.

Thankfully we only ordered 2 dishes to be eaten by 3 people, because the portion for a dish was really huge! We finished both dishes and all of us were full after that. They were amazingly delicious, or maybe we were just too hungry. Nevertheless, the price was worth with the taste and portion given.

The staffs were nice and did their job profesionally. They confirmed that it is a halal restaurant so we can eat lighheartedly. The restaurant was nicely decorated with Persian theme. It feels relaxing to chill and just enjoy our meals. Not to forget that the toilets were clean and provided with bidet, which was a plus point for Asians like us. Would definitely repeat coming here in the future.

Staff very impolite….
Don’t recommend
Staff is very very rude despite good quality of food

🤮.

One of the best Persian restaurants to go to. Always great food and love the staff super friendly and can bring your own bottle of drink if you want to. We have been going to this place for some time and they are always generous with their portions and everything tastes great. The clay oven is in the restaurant as you walk in where you can see them making the bread. Also recommend the pot if tea with cardoman and mint. They give you extra hot water as well to dilute the tea as it gets strong after your first 2 cups. Definitely recommend this place.
