Absolutely outstanding experience at the Persian restaurant!
From the moment we stepped in, every detail exceeded our expectations. The ambiance was enchanting, the service was impeccable, and the flavors... simply divine! A culinary journey that left us speechless.
Will definitely be returning!
I visited Starbucks a few weeks ago, I had the most horrible experience ever. Firstly, I can confirm that the manager named Joelma is honestly the most horrible person ever. I had witnessed how she was treating this little brown girl who was wearing a hijab named Amina. The manner she spoke to her was absolutely atrocious. I cannot understand how a manager who treats their staff like slaves has a job especially in this day and age. Where is the equality and fairness? She was being sarcastic and simple rude and raising her voice. I felt extremely sorry for the little girl. I asked one of the male staff, if the manager is always in a mood and he replied that no one in the store likes her due to her vicious attitude. The little girl Amina had told me that there were several staff from other stores who had also worked with Joelma were traumatised because of the poor treatment.

I would like to point out to Starbucks Head office, why they have managers on site and working when staff are scared or patronised. Surely a work place should be safe and comfortable for each individual? I had visited this Starbucks 4 other times after this incident and every single time I look over at all the staff, they look scared of working with Joelma and Joelma never has a smile on her face. If I am honest, even I feel terrified, she always has an angry and moody face as if she is being forced to work. I had noticed her being aggressive with slamming the jugs and blender aswell. What is this behaviour Starbucks? Please investigate into this.
Love Starbucks. Staff could be a bit more welcoming but hey its a tough job

My first stop in London. It was around 9.30am in the morning, I arrived to find the cafe full. Too bad there wasn't anywhere inside for customers to wait for a table so I had to stand outside near the door and that area was not covered. The wait was short though as I was seated in about 15 minutes. Servers were very cheerful and friendly, service superb as they made sure to take care of all tables in the proper seating sequence. They are very accomodative to solo diners, and will not ask to move to a solo spot just to make room for a group. But that said, they are still very effective in sitting the customers.

I had the Hash Benedict with add-on tomatoes, and it was delicious! It was pure bliss to enjoy a warm breakfast in a bustling environment along with the locals.

Thank you very much for making my first stop in London a pleasantly memorable one.

Lovely staff, they were so welcoming and friendly! Made my morning and a delicious coffee.

Can be a tricky location to find, look to the right of the main exit stairs.
A quick stop into this coffee house, plenty of seating, and a good selection of food.

1 Oat Flat White coffee ☕ and a nut yogurt pot later, served perfectly by the pleasant staff member, and the day was off to a good start 😄 ☀️ 💪💫
Corn fritters were ok but on the exxy side for the portion. The halloumi accompanying the fritters was absolutely perfect though. Service was efficient but not particularly warm.

We had a wonderful dinner here - best Spanish food I’ve had in London by a long way. All the food and wine was so delicious, we loved everything. Really recommend !

Cute cosy nook. Had the salmon & scrambled eggs - tasted good but nothing special. Coffee was terrible. We also made a booking at this place via their website but they forgot.
I had the chicken and waffles, and I think it was one of the best meals of my life. It was perfect, savory and sweet and rich. It didn't need the egg on top, it didn't even need to sriracha mayo, it was fantastic by itself. The place is beautiful and the staff are nice.

Hidden gem! You’ll be transported to Spain being hosted by the lovely, warm owner. The food is excellent, portions are great for the price. You won’t be leaving here hungry. I would absolutely come back.

Great coffee and food, highly recommend
Major complain is the 14% service charge on top of already quite expensive food.

Food itself was tasy, however there was much chicken with the French toast and alot of it was just the crispy batter.

Service was good though and nice seating.
Perhaps the smallest lemonade I’ve ever had… £4.70 and over half the glass was ice.
Food was tasty just a bit expensive for the amount of food you get. The pork bowl I ordered as well as the salmon poke was quite small in portion size.

Service was good. No complaints there. The atmosphere isn’t anything very special just standard for a restaurant of that variety.
Excellent traditional Persian restaurant. This is the real deal. This is the one that Persian restaurants go to for dinner lol But seriously if you haven't been then you are in for a treat. Make sure to book a table as it can get rather busy in the evenings.

I had the salad olvie for starter with bread, followed by Sultani Chello Kabab. Sultani translates to Royalty. So its basically saying that the meal is fit for royalty.

Absolutely loved this place!! A total gem! The food was outstanding and so well presented. The service was prompt and friendly. And the overall look and feel of the cafe was gorgeous and bright. I would highly recommend this place and I hope I can go back one day when I'm back in London.
Visiting this Starbucks is always a delightful experience, I would like to point out an exceptional barrister by the name of Amani , she is talented, always has a smile on her face, and takes a lot of care and precision when making my favourite latte. Observing her work is like watching your favourite artist.

I would definitely recommend coming to this Starbucks for a fabulous experience! :)
Zero for service.
Bizarre visit. I walk into quiet shop with no Que , order coffee then wait. One barista and 4/5 employees. I wait and wait , 12 cappuccinos later (not joking ) I ask where is my coffee and where did all the orders come from as I was alone inside , anyway I get the usual barista grandiose attitude, “ we make all coffee to our system “ wait. No one helped the slow barista , but suddenly I’m getting glares from all the staff , irritated , I said this was ridiculous and a dumb system. Then I’m told not to come back ( which I will never do ) Why do some baristas have this aloof attitude. Why leave a walk in customer wait 10 minutes when other customers are sitting and outside.
Really disappointed with how much the standards have dropped at Starbucks. One extremely rude and unpleasant staff member behind the tills on Saturdays. Not only was i over charged, she then didn't even make the drink correctly. Really let down as i use to love getting a drink on the way home from work, i wont be doing that anymore. 👎🏼
It's your basic coffee. It's directly across from the exit of the British museum.
It was a very nice place. I had never been to a Starbucks before, but I really enjoyed it. The customer service was excellent, especially from Jubu and Alex.❤️

Cute little brunch spot near KX!

the food here is absolutely stunning. We got the avocado toast with beetroot brioche and the potato pancakes. The sauces and the plating absolutely elevated the dish.

The portion is filling in my opinion and the potato pancakes were thick. The nduja complimented the dish really well along with the orange sauce on the side. The eggs on both dishes were perfectly good as well.

Definitely come here if you’re looking to have an elevated brunch!

We needed sustenance before our train departure from St Pancras and stumbled upon this place. It was lovely - very kid-friendly, delicious food and attentive staff. It was fairly busy but we were seated quite quickly. There were lots of options to suit various dietary requirements.
I'm truly impressed by the outstanding service provided by Jaishree, a delightful staff member at this branch. Her dedication to assisting customers with a warm smile is remarkable. Today, as always, she went above and beyond to ensure my experience was enjoyable. The food and drink were delicious, and her cheerful demeanour made my visit even more pleasant.Thank you for the chocolate too! :)

Tried their new Oleato drink which is a latte with a spoonful of extra virgin oliver oil, aiming to create a smooth texture. It costs £5 for a regular and all I can taste is a water-like latte (very light coffee bean flavor) with a hint of oliver oil. It's smooth but this is how latte should taste like. The whole experience was underwhelming. The stars are all for the staff, the service, the nice deco and the location.
Best catering company in London for corporate events. From the quality of food to the organisation and friendliness of the staff this is without doubts the most soulful company in town. In my more than 10 years experience as event organiser I never found a more proactive and trustworthy staff. Having Cecilia onsite is equivalent of success as she is the kindest and more professional manager I ever met and Raquel is always ready to pick up the phone and bring solutions when needed. Big thank you guys!
We had an excellent brunch with coffee on Sunday (24 March). All was delicious. Dishes are clearly made by a well trained team. I complemented the staff on my way out and was told that the 3 Lantana restaurants are still under the wing of the same family. Lovely.

We had ham croquettes, cuttlefish and turmeric chicken! Staff were very nice and we will be coming back! The owner is from Valencia and he’s very attentive and made our afternoon special.

Ordered the following:

- Ham Croquettes (£8)
- Turkey truffle with eggs on toast (£14)
- Raspberry Crush (drink) - (£3.50)

Review:

- The Ham croquettes melt in your mouth and is complemented by the rocket for the added texture

- Turkey truffle with eggs on toast is very filling and tastes amazing. Each bite is a flavour bomb in your mouth. (This is also the chef's favourite dish)

- The raspberry crush is all made from organic ingredients and is very refreshing.

Overall it's a nice quaint little place with great food. Expect a slower service as the Owner is doing everything.

Pricing:

- Reasonable prices overall considering you get big portion sizes with great quality food.
London is home to a thriving Iranian and Persian food scene, with dozens of restaurants across the city offering classic dishes like kebab koobideh. Camden Town and Kilburn boast bustling food scenes with highly-rated hidden gems, so I set out to review two acclaimed Iranian restaurants in the area and experience firsthand their tasty offerings and cozy spaces.

I landed on Kish Persian Restaurant, an Iranian restaurant located in the Kilburn neighborhood of London, having 4.2 stars reviews from 2,137 diners. Intrigued by the promise of delicious Persian cuisine, I decided to give it a try.

Location Review
Kish Persian Restaurant is conveniently located near two Kilburn subway stations, making it accessible for those in the Westminster borough. Positioned on the edge of Central London, it sits in a sweet spot that caters well to visitors from the west and north. However, those traveling from the south or east may find it a bit less convenient.

Half star

Service Review
The service at Kish Persian Restaurant left me with mixed feelings. While the staff speak Farsi and were friendly and accommodating when taking my order, there were instances of confusion regarding seating arrangements. The restaurant comprises multiple adjacent spaces, and the insistence on seating us in a less desirable area, despite our preferences, was a bit frustrating. Additionally, miscommunication about complimentary items and a surprise charge for bread and tea were notable drawbacks.

Half star

Portion Review
The star of the show, the koobideh, presented a generous portion that was both lengthy and substantial. However, the rice portion fell short, leaving me to rely on bread to complete the meal- always a bad sign as an Iranian! I just ordered the main dish with no sides included. A more ample serving of rice would have been appreciated.

Half star

Price Review
Priced at £15 for the koobideh, Kish Persian Restaurant falls slightly above the average range for similar dishes in London. While this is still reasonable, additional charges for bread and tea should be considered. The total cost falling within the average range, so I would give it an average rating. .

Half star

Quality Review
On the plus side, the rice was impeccably fluffy and buttery, while the koobideh had a delicious, well-balanced flavor. The starters, including the bread, shirazi, and olivia, all showcased excellent quality. Even the tea at the end was a delightful experience. This restaurant triumphs in delivering a memorable culinary experience.

Had Turkish and Persian breakfast. £7/8 each. Quite similar. Turkish one came with sausages and Persian with some nuts and no meat.
Other things on the plate I had no idea what they were but reminded me of Moroccan breakfast. Some sort of cheese, honey, baked flatbread, eggs.
The place is quiet, no music but pleasant.

You’ll have to be patient if you come here - Service and food is slower than most restaurants but boy is it worth it. My partner had the spiced scrambled egg which he liked. I had the Truffle Turkey with mushroom and fried egg and it was absolute perfection, everything from the Turkey to the egg to the mushrooms and the sourdough is just out the world. Interior is cosy and very well thought out. Owner is also very friendly and hospitable, I will definitely be back soon.
You know what you get at Pret!
Unfortunately some restaurants are a bit too small for my taste - but take away always works great!

Great space in Islington. I really enjoyed the black garlic chicken and croquettes were top.
Beautiful beer on tap and marinated olives.
Coming back soon!
Grande location, ottima pedonalizzazione.
Right opposite the British Museum. Normal Starbucks offering. Some seating upstairs and plenty of seating downstairs.
the blond woman has been repeatedly rude to me and my colleagues. First refusing to make eye contact with us when ordering making the experience really unpleasant and confusing, and on another occasion, shouting at me and arguing with me across the cafe. Unprovoked .
The best Persian restaurant. We had our daughter birthday. The owner and amazing staff here gave the most comfortable and fantastic service to make a memorable night for my seven year old and our guests. Thank you very much Kish restaurants management.
I have been going here regularly but recently this branch has gone down hill. They keep forgetting my order and I wait for ages and it’s only made when I prompt them. Got served this poor quality flat white.
Coffee was extremely hot, burned my mouth last night and it still hurts. One should be able to drink coffee straight away… Please hire competent baristas
This store has quite bad time management when making the coffee.
Either forgot to make the coffee or not following the ordering time for customers to make coffee. I’ve waited 10 mins for oat latte on my own mug while another 10 people after me got their coffee.
Poor service.
DELICIOUS coffee, tasty food, and amazing service. Andy and Sue were very nice to me and my dog. They brightened up my day. The Ethiopian brew was one of the best I’ve tried. Looking forward to going back
The best coffee so far in London, good espresso
Decent coffee and outdoor seating area, an ok option for coffee and something sweet while strolling around Shoreditch.
Came here for a work breakfast and it was phenomenal. The menu is incredible, so many good options to choose from, and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be coming back!
The best latte I’ve ever had so far in London. Proper Italian making
Thank you Pret!
Coffee is poor but tolerable standard, but they charge as if it’s made by competent barista. It’s not. Look elsewhere if you care about coffee.
I don't write reviews much, but the bar is getting so low in London that I was very pleasantly surprised by how great Lantana was! We went early (9:30am) on a Saturday, so it was quite quiet but got busier as time went on. The service was great - attentive but not annoying - the food lovely and very filling, and even the toilets were spotless! There's not many places I don't resent for having a service charge over 10% (and it's a pretty eye-watering 14% here) but I'd probably have left that much even if it hadn't been added already.

Good coffee. They have a roastery in house. Wide selection of coffee beans including decaf (sugar cane process)
Even though they have an indoors seating area, where you can enjoy your food and drink, there is no toilet available.
Decent food and drink, friendly staff and a clean environment. But, most impressive to me, a staff member dealt with care and kindness to a customer I noticed who needed help.

I had a good time in this Starbucks, I’ve been here more than once. The staff can sometimes be a bit blunt but they are also usually very helpful. There are lots of soft seats to sit on and this place has quite a vibrant atmosphere. I would like to see the staff being more willing to tidy up the tables but it’s always a good overall experience. Sometimes this coffee shop can be busy but there always seems to be somewhere to sit and the lighting in there is very good. It’s not so much dark but cosy. The prices are slightly higher than a normal Starbucks. I paid about 20p more for my Americano but it was very well made.
One of the best breakfast I've had. Really friendly staff.
