Stumbled upon this little gem. Sat outside in the sun and enjoyed a lovely spritz and a bowl of pasta. literally couldn’t recommend this place more, will be coming back. Also, the service is 10/10. Thanks so much :)
We chose Farmyard for one of our special meal, and it was certainly the right choice!

We had the 3 course set menu, everything was delicious, great flavours and well balanced together

Lovely atmosphere and great service

Highly recommended!!
Great place to eat. Very clean with friendly staff. The food was absolutely delicious!

Fantastic place. Just go. We had a day out in Norwich, which we've never been to before (spoiler alert - it's quite nice).
Super-friendly on the phone and on arrival. Nice space with a funky soundtrack. A short menu but we had trouble deciding over many appealing options so had a negroni sbagliato to fortify us in the meantime. This was made with extreme care and tasted very good. We made our choices and were impressed by all of it - watermelon salad, char sui pork belly rice bowl, fried chicken khao soi - though we could have lived without the hash browns add-on cheekily suggested by the waitress on stomach-space grounds.
So good we went back a few days later to try some other dishes and it was just as great.
Really enjoyed dinner here with my mum and granny 😄 amazing service and delightful food.
Well decorated and designed building with hands down the best chicken burger and chips I've had in a long time. Very nice, soft roll with a good amount of salad, homemade mayonnaise and a great sized chicken breast all form a great experience on the whole. The chips, as always are top drawer too and a must visit for anyone in the area.
Absolutely lovinggg the new menu 🤩 ordered the mango and grapefruit salad and would’ve been rude not to add some melt in the mouth pork belly 🤤 Was the perfect refreshing meal for the coming summer paired with a nice bubbly Jubel! Got to love NSK for food that’s consistently tasty ❤️
We ordered takeaway from grosvenor fish bar and are very unhappy. we waited 40 minutes for this to arrive and when it arrived it was missing a portion of chips and the cod was soggy and flavourless.
Great service & on the whole a fab place. We got there just before the midday rush & managed to get a table downstairs. Very dark down there though, so could do with better or a bit more lighting. Food was a good portion size but the fish goujon was very greasy. Chips were delicious 😋
Expensive food. No atmosphere. & £25 mark up on bottles of wine. Shocking!
As much as it was pleasant to eat here, it was over priced for what you got. Veg/chips/salads all extras nothing as standard. Menu hasn’t changed in 5 years, same as when we previously went. no atmosphere just loud talking, no music no character. Wouldn’t recommend & wouldn’t go again unfortunately especially when they’re cheeky enough to add on £25 pure profit on a £15 bottle of wine given the current climate. Poor show Farm Yard
The crispy chicken was great - a friend tried a bit from my portion and spent the rest of the day talking about how delicious it was!

I’ve been wanting to try their Fried rice curry balls for awhile. You get 4 for £3.50. Which was an amazing price! The balls had a crispy outside and a soft creamy inside. The garlic mayo and spring onions worked really well together. I personally felt the added sesame seeds on top didn’t work well with the overall flavours and texture however for the price and quality I really enjoyed them. I 100% would recommend!

The customer service is really good, I had a fried tofu bun with some kimchi and it was really nice. There's a few vegan options to choose from, including a mushroom bun as well

One of the best Italian restaurant I've been to in Norwich. The couple who own the place are Italian themselves, and it shows in the authentic tasting food. The menu range is huge with a great vegetarian selection, as well as plenty of drink offerings. The atmosphere is very classy, and the service is always so inviting. I've been here many times with my partner, and with friends/family, and Italia Nostra never disappoint! Highly recommend

We’ve been coming here for a couple of years and the food is amazing in my opinion. The portions are perfect for myself and taste great. There’s only been a couple of times I didn’t enjoy something and it was taken off of the bill which is always nice.

My main issue is with the extremely slow service. We have been late to things on occasion due to waiting so long from ordering to receiving food to ordering desert ( which we no longer do - we go elsewhere if we’re looking for something sweet because it takes so long ) to getting the bill. The servers are always lovely but every time we need something we’re having to go to the front bar to ask for it and it’s a long wait even then.

The other thing is the menu hasn’t changed pretty much since they opened. We have tried every pasta dish and most of the sides. I get perfecting a small menu but surely it’s time to switch it up now?
Great local Italian restaurant, please give it a try, lovely atmosphere too. Staff are attentive also.
A group of 7 of us had Bottomless Brunch at Turtle Bay on 1st March.
Dave looked after us really well, making sure to keep checking in with us, taking drink orders and getting the drinks to us as quickly as possible.
There was an amazing range of cocktails including cocktails if like me you can't handle your drinks very well!
The food was tasty and arrived about half way through our time slot which worked well.
The only thing I would say is I would have liked the music to be a bit louder therefore creating a bit more atmosphere.
This is an excellent establishment. The service is second to none and the food is superb. It’s always a pleasure to visit.

Absolutely loved the Asian fusion food here. The service was on point—staff were super attentive and really friendly. I went for the Korean fried chicken and the Asian slaw and it did not disappoint. They serve the fried chicken in this cool fried chicken box, topped off with crispy prawn noodles. The chicken itself? Tender, flavorful, and ends with a hint of heat. What I really liked was the mix of different textures and how everything was just packed with flavour.
First time visiting, well impressed with the service and good and the extensive cocktail list.

Food is great and the atmosphere and music is brilliant.

We will be back.
We were impressed. We enjoyed the food. It was obvious the ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. We ordered from the set menu, 3 courses for £30pp. I had the ham hock terrine and my wife the French onion soup to start, we both enjoyed these. We had the duck for main, which was cooked perfectly, it fell apart in the mouth. We also shared some chips, they were very good. For dessert we had the dark chocolate and amaretto delice, this was amazing. The service was excellent and the atmosphere quiet and calm. Food is expensive here, but portion sizes are good and food quality is to a good standard. We would recommend.

Sticky rice balls with mayo were dreamy! Maybe I just chose wrong but the rest of the menu was a bit bland for my tastes - the sweet potato katsu curry and the miso aubergine bowl. Was hoping for a sticky, unami dollop of deliciousness from the latter and it came out looking like gravy. Nice touches with the pickled ginger etc though and the presentation is lovely, staff are nice too
Had a beautiful meal here yesterday evening before going to the Theatre. I had the Lasagna, my mum had the Cannelloni and her friend had a Penne pasta dish. We shared garlic bread with cheese as a starter. This was probably the best homemade Italian meal I have ever had. Absolutely beautiful. Atmosphere was lovely, quiet but vibrant. We enjoyed a bottle of house white with our meal, which was also very nice. The only downside is that I live in Yorkshire and was only in Norfolk visiting family for the week. We all said we will definitely be returning aswell as leaving glowing reviews. Next time I am in Norwich, I will be returning. Thank you to all staff for a lovely meal.
Very good food in a cool setting, with an open kitchen 👍🏻

I visited with my wife at about 1845 on a Tuesday for a pre-theatre show dinner. We'd booked and I'm glad we had as it was surprisingly very busy!

The service was friendly and good, if a tiny bit slow at times, but (as I said) the restaurant was pretty full

The menu was arranged with small plates, larger plates and some sides. We opted to share 3 dishes and a side; we were truly stuffed by the end. The food came out as and when it was ready.

Beef brisket rendang loaded bone marrow came out first, served on a beef dripping flat bread and with cl"coconut cabbage" - a kind of gently pickled slaw. This was all kinds of delicious and was our favourite dish.

Next, came our Korean Fried Chicken, fries and XO duck fried rice all at once. The duck was served in a lided clay pot, so we attacked the KFC & fries first. The chicken was crisp, boneless and yielding. It was good, but the hot glaze it was dressed with was so spicy that it slightly zapped some of the flavour that was initially present. The fries were a great example, crisp and translucent.
The duck was okay, it was tasty and had a whole fried egg sat on top of the rice and under a layer of duck - there were instructions to chop and mix the dish before eating, which was a good idea. It was tasty enough, but the consistency was a bit odd, slightly sloppy / too wet, which wasn't quite what we were expecting from a fried rice dish.

The bill came to £68, which was fair for the food, a grapefruit drink and a large glass of wine, including a tip.

Overall there was a lot to like here and I'm sure we'll definitely be back.
We had a fantastic Bottomless Brunch at Turtle Bay Norwich again!
This is the second time we have been and both times we have been served by Lauren on a Friday lunchtime.
Lauren absolutely made my wife’s birthday visit special with exceptional service with a smile!
The food and drinks were great and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to anyone.
We will hopefully return soon to catch up with Lauren and enjoy some more cocktails.
Thanks to Lauren and the rest of the crew!
Food looks great but unfortunately both times I've been there to order VEGAN pad Thai they gave me chicken. Twice. I'm not sure they realise how bad form that is. Sadly won't be going back again.

SO bland. I have created a more flavourful gnocchi in 5 minutes at home for a couple of pounds. Definitely NOT worth £14. Also tried the tiramisu which had zero coffee flavour at all - completely plain base topped with mascarpone. It was like they’d forgotten to soak the lady fingers at all

I either came on a bad night or these reviewers claiming this is “the best Italian food” need to get out more
Never disappointed by this food. The signature goat curry is amazing and I recently had the roast pork belly which was so tender and tasty. Definitely recommend a visit!
We love it here. The food is amazing and so tasty- we always leave with full bellies. Our waiter Kynan was so attentive and always made sure we had everything we need- although it was late at night he was so happy, chatty and made our meal 10 times better❤️
Not a good start as 1 of our party of 3 left her bag n the car so didn’t have ID. Completely understand why they couldn’t serve her alcohol but it meant we could not have the bottomless brunch either. Decided to just eat and have the 2 for 1 cocktails as it was a birthday get together. Food was lovely. Spicy but good. I had the jerk lamb and it was cooked just right. Cocktails were great. We managed to drink enough to have a bit of a wobble on when we were leaving. Kyrian and Amy served us and were funny, engaging and kept us well supplied. Loved how they both took the time to actually talk rather than just take our order and disappear. Even though we couldn’t have the bottomless brunch by the time we took off our birthday voucher and my blue light discount we had a 2 course meal for 3 with about 10 cocktails each for around the same cost. Will definitely go back with hubby next time.
Very very busy! Waited 30 mins for first drink! Curried goat delicious. Jerk sauce not so good. Very lively restaurant, good for large group parties on the lash! Toilets downstairs stunk like a farmyard! Out of 7 tables near us, we were the only ones to order food. Everyone else on the lash (not a bad thing but also not a restaurant to go for a nice meal).
WOW! WHAT A PLACE!
I heard about this place from my mum and decided to try it out. And WOW! It was OUTSTANDING! As someone who loves a bit of British history and a good fish and chips, my expectations were fulfilled and more! What a lovely place. Affordable, lovely atmosphere, staff was amazing and polite and food came out in a good amount of time too! Highly recommend :)
Little local gem. Food was very fresh and tasty, and the staff were lovely. Really high level of customer service.
Nice chip shop, decent portions, reasonable prices.
This chippy is excellent, the staff are so kind and friendly. The food is lovely, cooked well and tasty. We've been using this chippy for a good few months now. It deserves to be used more by the local community of Lakenham/Tuckswood and surrounding areas.
Fish was perfect, chips were what I would say old fashioned and very tasty, only issue I had was there where way to many chips, maybe half of a portion would have been better, a very delicious meal and price was good 👍

The staff were super friendly and welcoming you into the restaurant. The overall vibe of the restaurant was calming and the little candles on the table were relaxing. Found out about this restaurant through TikTok so had to try it out!! I highly recommend the Bucatini with slowed cooked tomato sauce dish it was extremely delicious and flavoursome the Parmesan mixed in with the pasta was delightful. I did have to season my pasta with black pepper and the bucatini was slightly chewy on the plus side it was a yummy dish. The menu was clearly labelled with vegetarian and gluten free options and had a festive menu available. Not too suitable for wheelchair users and the main seating area is up some stairs and one table is available with no stairs.
Used to live next to this chippy with my boyfriend and housemate but I had to move home yesterday and i'm sad this is no longer on my doorstep!
Fantastic food, amazing service, very talkactive and it makes me feel welcome so I absolutely recommend this chippy to everyone!
If you fancy food come to this place! Delicious chip shop ran by the friendliest couple, thankyou :-)

Stopped in for date night on a freezing december evening.
The restaurant was cosy and warm and you're met with the smell of amazing Italian food.

The lady who welcomed us had such a calm nature about her. Her service was amazing and she made sure we had everything we needed. I noticed she was the only server yet did not seem overwhelmed, and managed to serve all the customers efficiently.

We both ordered a carbonara, which was excellent. The icing on the cake was when the server brought us over extra parmesan to sprinkle over our dish. A really nice touch.

Overall an excellent experience. A real gem of a restaurant.

Thank you for a lovely meal. We will be back.
Great food venue. Catered to my requests and food was so tasty and hot. Will deffo return and recommend!!

It started so well with the starters being simply delicious.

However the mains were a severe let down. As a massamam curry fanatic I was left hugely disappointed with their rendition of one of my favourite dishes. The pork belly and crispy chicken disappointing too.

The starters, with the BBQ corn, bone marrow and crab curry, wontons simply delicious I was gearing up for a good second half but it fell flat.

I was also rebuked when asked for a bowl of rice 🍚 to go with the curry. They said no. They do serve sticky rice on the menu with the pork belly but "didn't have enough to order extra". Rice really doesn't take that long to whip up in my opinion and you need something to go with a curry. The naan provided was the only option.

Service also was a Jekyl and Hyde experience. Really friendly guy greeted us and showed us the specials. However then we were served by a lady who couldn't care if she was there or not. Shame, I had high hopes but left feeling a tad bit disappointed at the end of the night

I have been to Yard many times over the past couple of years and each time it has been perfect! The service is friendly and quick, the food is always cooked fresh and well and the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere both upstairs in the main part of the restaurant and downstairs in the bar area with mood lighting, plants and wall decor.

Impromptu visit on a random Tuesday night after a meeting in the city. Such a great place, the service is welcoming, it’s not pretentious and the food was delicious. The only problem was leaving feeling soooo full!! Great job guys, we’ll be back. 🥰

We have been here a few times over the years and we have enjoyed it every time. Today's was the best out of the few. Very kind and speedy service with a short wait time. I had pasta with sausage and it was lovely.
Really delicious Asian fusion food! The servings are big as well so the price is really worth it. We went for dinner and they were very busy. Always recommend booking a reservation in advance!

The pasta here is exceptionally delightful, featuring fresh pasta and a truly delicious flavor. It's absolutely worth a visit. On top of that, don't miss out on the must-try garlic butter bread.
I tried Bun Box earlier this week.

Having seen people eating these amazing looking don buri bowls I was really excited to give them a go and I'm glad to say they definitely lived up to the hype!

The food is amazing, I got two duck down buris, one without onion for myself and one with onion for my partner, the toppings were really generous and the quality was amazing. Solid portions for the money coming in at about £9 per head. For transport they provide lids as well as a range of utensils to eat with.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating, they ask about allergies and, from my experience, are happy to accommodate. I added a side of kimchi after my initial order and they were happy to add to my initial order. It's a little thing but it's those that stick with me.

Food prep areas look clean and there is plenty of space to sit behind the market to eat as long as it's a sunny day.
Great service and great food at reasonable prices. I recommend it. Dog friendly too. My second visit with family and 🐕. The waitress told us it's a new menu. Excellent meal.

We really enjoyed our meal at Yard - delicate and delicious pasta, a surprisingly yummy ice cream stuffed croissant and a couple of glasses of wine, all enjoyed in a lovely relaxed atmosphere! Top marks to the staff.

You know the drill - Get your name on the list, go for a drink, wait for the call and enjoy.
I think perhaps I expected too much from my visit. I had the crab starter, tasty but small. Then we shared a cote de beuf. I was surprised neither the waiter nor the kitchen staff knew what breed the steak was. It was cooked to perfection with a great crust but rather grizzly and a bit tough. Can't blame the restaurant for this, but I do think serving balsamic glazed shallots on tops is a mistake as it overly influences the flavour of the meat. The wine was an average tasting malbec, and I have had much better at a similar price point. One further observation, the steak knives were possibly the worst I have ever used. I might have been better off with a butter knife. I'm glad I checked it off my list of places to visit.
Been going here for years we love this place , the quality is second to none food wise it's very clean and the staff are always helpful.Highly recommend if you are looking for traditional fish and chips.
Such a chilled vibe here too, lovely place to unwind☺️
Consistently very good food and service; highly recommended.

There is an interesting and varied wine selection.

Service is friendly and unobtrusive.

The open kitchen is a nice touch, so you can see the food being cooked and arriving at the pass.

I particularly recommend the cote de boeuf which is cooked over charcoal and is delicious; dare I say tastier than the equivalent served at The Gunton Arms!
