This is a nice tribute to Princess Diana. It is located in Green Park and has a lot of serene areas to go to. It also has a children's play area located within the park.
Such a detailed and evocative memorial to all those men and women involved in defending Britain during WWII. Unfortunately it was pouring with rain on a cold, February day, when I saw this monument I'd previously read about and seen videos of. It was, nonetheless, worth stopping and taking a moment to appreciate the quality of work which produced this memorial, and the stories it reminds us of are important and worthy of memorialising.

The views from this part of the Thames include Big Ben, The London Eye and New Scotland Yard, all of them well recognisable as iconic points of interest.

This is a public monument, and there is no need to purchase tickets, nor was there a queue on the day I visited, but then again, it was pouring rain in the tourist off season!

Definitely well worth a visit during your London stay!
The Summer long battle of Britain in 1940 ensured that through the victory of the RAF over the Luftwaffe that England would stand against the Nazis. A scourge that is ever present.

The memorial depicts many scences such as the scramble to take off and RAF personnel doing tasks. The other memorial records various civilian incidents including St Paul's cathedral amongst the flames.
Amazing place for kids and adults. Brilliant in the summer. Green Park Station is very close. Hop in and hop off tours available.
Великолепный пример сочетания современной скульптуры и старинной архитектуры. Все это на фоне стеклянных небоскребов. Впечатляющее зрелище !
Nice little corner if of the park. Although they are doing pavement work within the park near by.
The Mermaid is one of several sculptures by Damien Hirst found in the Greenwich Peninsula. it’s not far from the O2 and a very different view of The Thames and Canning Town.
