Sehr authentische chinesische Küche! Dort bietet viele scharfen Gerichte an. Für die Leute, die gern scharf essen können/ mögen, ist da definitiv eine top Auswahl. Alle Gerichte, die wir probiert haben, schmeckten SEHR gut. Der Service war auch ganz top. Ich fände persönlich, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis noch ein bisschen besser sein könnte. Man hätte eine größere Portion vom Fleisch erwartet, wenn es um eine 20-Euro-Suppe geht...

Very dirty and cheap looking place.
This is everything but reall Asian restaurant. When I asked for a soy sauce they gave me acceto vinegar. Later, they manage to find one almost completly used bottle of soy sauce. Tables were very dirty and sticky. We came at opening so there was no time to get dirty and conclusion is that they haven't even clean it! Food is bad as well. The service guy wanted to charge us for one extra drink which we didn't have... They will not gonna see us again. So bad...

Wir hatten einen netten Abend dort. Das Essen war lecker und das Gemüse frisch. Ambiente ist total in Ordnung genauso wie die Lage. Die teilweise sehr schlechten Rezensionen kann ich nicht bestätigen. Preise sind fair.

My first real Asian food since the 15 days I’ve been here… it was heaven sent. The food is warm and it came with rice! I ordered a lot and paid a lot but I don’t even care anymore because I’m so hungry and I couldn’t sleep without my Asian food. Thank you China Express! The lady boss was really friendly and accommodating too.

Only downside is the place was incredibly packed! I guess that’s because it is so popular….

Essen wurde zügig gebracht, Kellner waren sehr freundlich und das Essen war einfach super lecker.
Zudem ein echt schönes und ruhiges Ambiente.

Sehr freundlich, schnell aber unaufdringlich. Essen war gut, kühlt aber sehr schnell aus, das es kalt wird, bevor man fertig ist. Könnte etwas besser gewürzt sein, es fehlte z.b. Salz am Reis. Wäre eigentlich nicht schlimm, wenn es am Tisch für üblichen Gewürze wie Sojasoße, Samba-Olek, etc. Geben würde. Trotzdem, gutes Essen, lädt zum wiederkommen ein.

It’s gotten really expensive recently, so I decided to add some updated pictures of the Menu. The corndogs are cool, the rest of the food is only okay. You can order digitally and they show you your number (you can even wait outside until your order is ready, they’ll show your number on a screen at the entrance!). The place is ofter extremely crowded so don’t expect a quiet environment, everybody is standing around waiting for their bubble tea or their food order!

Very authentic Sichuan restaurant. Really delicious. Also have a nice atmosphere. Especially thanks to the friendly service. full recommendation!

The food is good, and place is good

Reduce one star because the floor is a bit sticky, and the you have to check the plates for all you can eat a lot. Quite often the plates are not that clean

I was a rather lost traveler and having walked a hundred thousand steps all day, I wondered if China Express would be a good idea. I am SO glad that I chose to go ahead. The old man that runs the place made me feel very homely and very patiently told me about the menu that was written in German. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel after he recommended it and it was fabulous. Fulfilling meal and very wholesome environment.

I was 3 - 4 times , unfortunately I made only the last time photos when I wasn't so much hungry 😜
Food and service is nice and the prices are also fair.

Die gebratenen Nudeln mit Gemüse waren sehr lecker. Service war gut, nur mit dem Deutsch hapert es ein bisschen. Wir sind aber gut zurecht gekommen. Das restliche Essen wurde gut verpackt um mit nach Hause nehmen zu können. Restaurant war sehr sauber. Ich komme gerne wieder.

The food is so oily you are dying after eating one or 2 peaces of anything we came one hour and half before and everything is almost finish and they didn't replace it.

The price is ok comparing with Munich but for me it's not worth it. I will not eat this for free.

The food was great, we were a group of 30 so we got to try a lot of different dishes. The drink prices were quite high - €6 for a beer. Would go again.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit authentische Gerichte. Die Portionen sind sehr groß besonders die Suppen. Ich habe Schweinebauch mit Tofu gegessen war sehr lecker. Die Gerichte sind wirklich sehr scharf aber ich mag scharf. Man soll am besten reservieren, wir haben keine Reservierung gehabt trotzdem ein Tisch bekommen aber war wirklich knapp. :)

Location: it is a bit far from U-Bahn but the bus station is next door, parking is not easy, but there is a park lot at the back street and you can find some around the restaurant. (4.5)

Environment: usually they play Chinese songs, and it decorate like a traditional Chinese restaurant, down to the earth. I like it. (5!

Food: it is Orginal Hunan food. Xiao Chao Rou, Duojiao ZhenYu, Shousi Baocai, Qiezi Doujiao, Xianglaxie.. The spicy fried beef is too spicy for me but yummy. (5)

Service: the stuffs are nice and friendly. They are supportive too. (5)

Price: typically prices for Chinese restaurants in Munich. (5)

Overall: 4.9
I go there 1-2 times a month.

Location: it is a bit walk distance from U-Bahn, and usually it’s not easy for parking. (4.5)

Environment: the atmosphere is nice, lots of Chinese. They can open the side doors in summer and the room is cool and fresh. (5)

Food: the best Sichuan food in Munich. I am from Sichuan and I can definitely give this comment. Dry hotpot, steamed fish with chill, thousands years eggs, eggplant are my favorite dishes. The dumplings are good too. (5)

Service: they speak German and Chinese, the stuffs are nice and helpful. (5)

Price: usually a vegetable dish costs 10-20 euro, a meat dish cost 20-30 euros. I would say it is typically price for Chinese restaurants in Munich. (5)

Overall: 4.9

Ihr wollt ein Restaurantbesuch mit Lotto-Gewinn-Niveau oder der Erfahrung, wie kann man ALLES falsch machen?
Dann ab ins Juli...!
Wer einen entspannten Restaurant Abend erwartet, geht lieber wo anders hin.
Hier meine Zusammenfassung über das Juli.
Erster Besuch. Erster Eindruck... Nettes Ambiente (das war's auch schon)
Nach ca. 5 Minuten als neuer Gast, wartend am Eingang auf einen Kellner, der einen eventuellen freien Tisch zuweist, haben wir uns dann selbst einen Tisch gesucht.
In den darauf folgenden 15-20 Minuten haben uns nachfolgende Gäste Speisekarten und teilweise auch schon Getränke bekommen.
Meine Eigeninitiative auf Nachfrage nach einer Speisekarte war eher problematisch... Das Personal versteht überwiegend kein Deutsch und kann kein Englisch.
Irgendwann kam die Karte und ein Kellner... Und das Drama nahm seinen Lauf.
Getränke... Bier abgestanden, lauwarm. Cola... Ohne Kohlensäure, lauwarm.
Die zwei bestellten Gerichte...
Das erste kam nach 80 Minuten lauwarm und war falsch... Das zweite Gericht kam ca. 15 Minuten nach dem Ersten!
Die Qualität ist mittelmäßig bis schlecht. Soßen aus der Mikrowelle haben noch nie funktioniert...
Die Ente war zäh wie Leder.
Immerhin das zweite Gericht (war auch das günstigere) brauchten wir nicht bezahlen. Ändert aber nichts an einem versauten Abend im Restaurant.
Jetzt nochmal zum Lotto-Niveau...
Einige Rezensionen sind hier ja positiv. Was mich tatsächlich überrascht...
Also kann der Besuch Lotto-Like gutgehen oder nicht!
Meine Lotto-Wette wäre...
100,- Euro darauf, dass das Juli noch dieses Jahr verschwindet, wenn der Service so bleibt.
Das Ambiente hat ein besseres Restaurant verdient!
Wenn vielleicht auch preislich höher, dafür aber mit passender Qualität.
Weil das ist das einzig auffällige am Juli... Die Preise sind günstig, bedeuten allerdings wohl auch, dass man hier "billig" erwarten muss.

Can recommend the dish with tofu and minced beef, was really good. The service was fast and the place wasn’t so crowded for a Saturday evening. The food was affordable as well.

Fair price. The food was okay although the sushi rice was gooey. The waiter was helpful and attentive. The music was a little too loud to be a background music.

Hervorragende Küche, nichts für nicht Scharf-Esser. Wirklich alle Gerichte schnell, heiß und lecker bekommen. Preise sind für München fair und der Service war ebenfalls in Ordnung.
Einzig und allein die Toiletten waren eine absolute Zumutung, möchte das nicht näher ausführen, ekelerregend, baufällig und dem Restlichen Lokal nicht angemessen.

Es hat die Atmosphäre einer Bahnhofshalle. Wir mussten so lange auf die Bestellung warten ,dass wir schon überlegt haben uns eine Pizza hin zu bestellen...rund 1 1/4 Stunden nach Ankunft hatten wir dann aber auch schon das Essen ,also teilweise .... Wir hatten an dem Punkt auch kein Interesse mehr ,dass die Bestellung komplettiert wurde. Das Essen ,dass wir bekommen haben war dafür aber in Ordnung

Das Essen war (mit einer Ausnahme) sehr gut. Das moderne Ambiente hat mir gefallen auch wenn es teilweise etwas dunkel war. Eine teilweise sehr laute Veranstaltung im Nebenraum war sehr störend; ob dies häufiger gegeben ist kann ich nicht sagen.

Leider war der Service im Summe überfordert sodass wir mehr als 2h im Restaurant waren statt vielleicht 45min. Wir hatten teilweise auch Groupon Coupons eingelöst was gut funktioniert -- wenn man aufpasst das auch alles richtig abgerechnet wird.

Die Parkplatzsituation rund um das Lokal ist sehr eingeschränkt.

We spent New Year's Eve here with friends. The drinks and food were satisfying, especially the teppanyaki barbecue and New Year's Eve fireworks were unforgettable!

Great food!! Was a bit concerned after reading some comments online. But it was actually really good, authentic Chinese dishes and good service. Highly recommended!

In addition to the main dishes, we asked to bring two portions of prawn crackers. At the end of the meal, the bill was prepared by hand on a piece of paper and we were charged 26 euros for the chips (13 euro each portion).

The service was nice.
Compared to the other restaurants they don’t offer too much variety.
The grill was taking a bit late.
Some of the plates were dirty.
I think it is good to go with group occasions since everybody can choose whatever they want in a fixed price.

I tried out a few dishes. All were great, apart from the dumplings with broth filling. Those were a bit disappointing (I had picked out the restaurant for them), but I was very pleasantly surprised by the other dishes. The food arrived very prompt and the service was impeccable. it's a place I would gladly return

Easy to order using their ordering machines. Can order for both the bubbletea and the food place from it. Could choose between English and German language which was nice.

The restaurant is high-end Chinese food, served in the style of Western food, exquisite and compact.

Isn't there any minus points? 😂 We were excited to try this Chinese restaurant. However, since we arrived and made an order, only after an hour the waitress made the eyecontact to check on us only to say that she has lost our order. It took an hour for her to say that 😂 We were starving without dinner until 20:30, when we hear that our order is not even made. After this has happened she didn't give us any apology but said "everybody is waiting anyway" (no, half of the restaurant was empy at 20:30) and suggested us to just walk out. It was an exceptional experience in my life, that I have never imagined of 😂😂😂 Please, I cannot recommend this restaurant!

Authentic Sichuan food with a good presentation, speaking from a fellow ex-resident of Sichuan. Highly recommend the M08 Meat of your choice“Fleisch Ihrer Wahl”.

The young waiter could have further training, especially when serving the A03 “Broccoli Leaves & Smoked Tofu”. The dish was thrown on the table with such a force that the vege tart deformed (pic3).

Exceptional food from the starters to dessert. We had the dumplings, tofu/broccoli, caramelised chicken and dry wok stir fry with Mango lassi and mango pudding to finish. The dishes came remarkably quickly. Service was efficient and the older waiter friendly.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Munich and one of the very few Asian places I go to in Germany. The food is absolutely superb and very authentic. Definitely not pan-Asian. Being a white guy who doesn't speak Mandarin the service can be a bit on the lower side, but once they know you and know that you appreciate their food, it's very pleasant. After I returned from the US I even flew to Hong Kong for a week just to enjoy good Chinese food including Szechuan style. Now I don't have to do this any more and when I go there I often order food for a whole week.

朋友帮忙推荐的非常棒的一家中餐馆，老板和服务人员特别热情且有礼貌，很耐心的帮我们根据我们的喜好推荐菜品。店里人气很旺，但上菜速度一点也不慢，香辣烤鱼特别好吃，配菜也很丰富，黑胡椒牛肉很嫩，口感很棒，凉皮也特别好吃。下次来慕尼黑一定会再来的。

Best Chinese food I ate in Munich. The food was very delicious. We ordered spicy chicken, crispy pork belly, spicy eggplants, dumplings and beef. Everything was super yummy. My favorite was crispy pork belly. The staff was very friendly. You just need to scan the qr code and order from the link. Everything came very fast. I really enjoyed the dinner. Will definitely come back.

Das war ein sehr merkwürdiger Restaurantbesuch.

Ich fragte, ob ich das gebackene Hähnchen mit roter Curry Sauce bekommen könnte, da diese Kombination so nicht auf der Karte steht. Die Antwort war "nein, weil die rote Curry Sauce erst gemacht werden muss und das so lange dauert."
Dann habe ich das gebratene Hähnchen mit roter Curry Sauce bestellt. Warum das geht, mit knusprigem Hähnchen aber nicht, erschließt sich mir überhaupt nicht.

Dazu habe ich ein Glas Cola bestellt. Diese kam aus der Zapfanlage und war vollständig ohne Kohlensäure.
Auf meine Reklamation sagte man mir, dass das merkwürdig sei, da es aus der Anlage käme und sich da auch schon mehr Leute beschwert haben.
Ja, auch in einer Zapfanlage muss der Kohlensäurezylinder mal getauscht werden...
Immerhin bekam ich dann ein Glas Cola aus der Flasche - mit Kohlensäure.

Auf das Essen musste ich fast 30 Minuten warten, obwohl der Laden so gut wie leer war (4 oder 5 Gäste). Was da so lange dauern kann, erschließt sich mir ebenfalls nicht (vielleicht die rote Curry Sauce? 🤡)

Das Essen war immerhin recht schmackhaft. klar, enthält ja auch Geschmacksverstärker, wie leider sehr vieles dort. das ginge zweifellos auch ohne. Allerdings verstehe ich nicht, was Mais in einem Wokgemüse zu suchen hat. Das habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Eigentlich wäre es zu dem Zeitpunkt dort recht ruhig gewesen, aber ein paar Kinder (schätze die der Besitzer) schauten relativ laut Zeichentrickfilme... klar, Kinder sind nur beim Schlafen lautlos, aber da könnte man zumindest ein bisschen die Lautstärke der Trickfilme reduzieren.

Ausserdem ist das kostenlose WLAN geradezu lächerlich langsam (<2mbit). Nebenbei ein bisschen im Internet surfen, wird dort echt zur Geduldsprobe.

Insgesamt ein sehr durchwachsenes Erlebnis und leider eher nicht empfehlenswert.

Wer auf authentische chinesische Küche steht ist hier genau richtig. Hier wird traditionell gekocht und die Gerichte schmecken genauso wie man sie in Asien serviert bekommt. Am Wochenende sollte man reservieren da das Lokal immer sehr gut besucht ist. Preise sind etwas höher aber für die Qualität absolut in Ordnung. Wir können das Lokal nur empfehlen und sind dort sehr gern zu Gast.
