Das Hotel liegt leider an einer Straße, die tagsüber viel befahren ist. Nachts ist es nicht so schlimm. Das ist aber auch das einzige Manko. Die Zimmer sind relativ groß, die Betten bequem, das Duschbad groß. Alles seh sauber . Täglicher Handtuchwechsel. Sehr zu empfehlen!
Das Essen im Restaurantsehr lecker. Wir aßen Spaghetti Vulcano - sehr gut mit leichter Schärfe, eben vulkanisch ;).
Danach Tintenfisch + Gamberi Super gut, die Tintenfischringe waren sehr gut und nicht zäh.
Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!!

Viel zu teuer für das Gebotene...

Nachtrag: für 2 kleine, mittelmäßig leckere, überteuerte Stücken Pizza und jeweils 1 Bier insgesamt 25 Euro zu verlangen ist so unverschämt, wie die Antwort auf meine Rezension. Aber gut, die Pizzastückchen waren weder frisch (lagen schon vorgebacken den ganzen Abend in der Auslage und würden aufgewärmt) noch was besonderes was die Zutaten betrifft. Dieselbe Qualität bekomme ich in jedem Touristenviertel der Welt. Wenn dann dazu noch Coperto kommt für die 5 m vom Tresen zum Tisch, dann ist das weder gastfreundlich, noch einmalig. Ergo: Abzocke, mittelmäßiges Essen und VERDAMMT UNANGEMESSENE KOMMENTARE der Besitzer

The best pizza we ever tasted! We have been travelling to more than 100 cities all around the world, been to Rome, Milan and Napoli too, but this pizza was the best we ever eaten!🌟🙏 The flavour, the tichness, the texture of the pizza and the vibe of the whole place is a must visit! Our local friend recommended it and we couldn’t be more grateful to her! Grazie Vecchio Forno❤️

Siamo stati a cena, cucina casalinga ottima, servizio molto cortese, personale gentile. Posizione molto favorevole per vedere Tropea.

Excellent food! Everything was extremly fresh and homemade, the tartar is to die for!!!! Extremly nice location and the owner of the restaurant is the friendliest and kindest person! Definitely a must if you are in Tropea!

Beautiful Pizzeria! The pizzas are under €10 and the place is tucked away in a cozy location. It has been under the same family since the 1930s and they treat every customer with the upmost kindness. The service was quick and the wine was great. Would definitely recommend for a pizza in Tropea!

Avoid this restaurant. Shabby treatment by staff. The owner looked at us with great contempt, probably because we weren't Italian . Eventually placed an order for a drink, waited 30 minutes. Took an order for food, which we did not receive after multiple requests. We watched another large table being served dish after dish after dish. After an hour, we finally got so frustrated we got up and left. We had to walk inside to pay for the drinks , staff sitting around doing nothing. Did not care that we were upset. AVOID!

Kleiner Imbiss mit einer großen Auswahl an sehr leckerer römischer Pizza. Eignet sich gut für einen kurzen Snack zwischendurch.

I feel like the negative comments about pizza come from people who would like to put ketchup on it. The pizza was great, made of fresh ingredients and the crust-tomatoes-cheese ratio was just right, with a fair amount of extra ingredients but not enough to overshadow other flavours. The dough tastes different that any other I tried in Tropea, but surely in a good way. I only went in there because it was full of locals 5 minutes after it opened and I do not regret, totally worth it.

Wir hatten Pizza und gebackenes Gemüse ("zucchine al forno+
melanzane al forno") bestellt. Die Pizza war hervorragend!!! Das gebackene Gemüse hatte eher den Anschein eines zerstampften und lauwarmen und geschmacksarmen Gemüsebreis :-(... ! Das würde ich sicher nicht nochmal bestellen. Allerdings gab es warmes frischgebackenes, außergewöhnlich gutes Fladenbrot dazu. Das Ambiente, die Freundlichkeit und der Service sind wirklich sehr zu loben! Es ist sehr ratsam vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren.

Un bel locale in un vicolo di Tropea rende l'atmosfera della cena meravigliosa. Difficile trovare posto perché spesso si riempie con i tanti turisti stranieri che affollano Tropea. La cipolla al forno con focaccia è eccelsa. Le pizze un po' troppo croccanti e al limite del bruciacchiato. I camerieri gentili e disponibili anche se sono pochi per tutti quei clienti. Rapporto qualità prezzo: top.

Hands down, best food in Tropea. The staff was super nice. The octopus and potatoes? To die for! The onions.. I can’t say enough about Tropea onions and this was one of the most creative ways I’ve seen them served! We ordered the carpaccio and it was amazing. The gnocchi was delicious. We had a few more dishes that were great, but those were the standouts.

Abbiamo cenato in questo tipico ristorante che forse nasce più come forno/pizzeria?

In ogni caso cena ottima, abbiamo gustato un antipasto Misto, pieno di tipicità calabresi accompagnato da cipolle grigliate e focaccia.

Super Pizza Tagliata, ähnlich wie die römische Pinsa. Knusprig und beste Zutaten. Unbedingt probieren: mit roten Zwiebeln und Mozzarella

Amazing food! Forget the ratings on google trust me! Pintouriccio found a table for 12 of us last minute and it’s just such a sweet little setting in a back street of the old town. It was so pretty to just walk to the restaurant. It’s mainly a seafood menu but it is honestly worth the experience. We ordered the clam pasta, the fileja pasta with Nduja and my children got the potato crusted fish fillet and they were all cooked to perfection! I couldn’t fault it! I honestly will be dreaming about that clam pasta until my next trip to Italy! The pasta was al dente! It was cooked the way pasta should be cooked in Italy, so if you want an authentic Italian food experience on pasta just go here for that! We loved our dinner here! Absolutely a must! 5 stars!

I wanted to love this place but the food was just fine. We ordered a lot and it was all just ok. It's better than what we had for dinner last night but overall for Italy, I don't think Tropea is a great food scene.

Over 200 years of tradition, wonderful interior, magical people and most important - amazing food! This place is a real gem! Each dish is unique - steeped in tradition, passion and wood-fired oven smoke. We fell in love ❤️

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel but service was a bit of a mess. They barely spoke English and missed to bring one order that ended up on the bill and the table next to us waited an hour for their food. However the food was delicious! We went for the fileja nduja, potato breaded sea bass and grilled vegetables, we just wanted to try the caponata too, but maybe next time.
Service was 3* but food was 4* hopefully they’ll warm up before busy summer time :)

Ein wundervolles pick-a-pizza Lokal im Herzen von Tropea. Pro Pizza Stück muss man ungefähr 3-4€ rechnen und bekommt eine gute Portion für den Preis. Geschmacklich eine der besten Pizzen in Tropea

Kleines Lokal für schnellen Snack

Bellissimo e antico forno di Tropea che ancora cuoce e vende pane casereccio. Le pizze sono spettacolari: abbiamo assaggiato sia la classica margherita sia la base di Margherita con cipolle zucchine. Impasto ottimo, cottura perfetta, gusto sublime! Il locale è spettacolare: è il vecchio forno che cuoce da 200 anni il pane a Tropea. Si può mangiare proprio di fronte alla bocca del forno o in una sala a fianco, due locali antichi e pieni di foto d'epoca davvero interessanti. Consigliatissimo anche perché il personale è gentile, socievole e molto veloce.

Mit Abstand die beste Pizza in Tropea. Super netter Besitzer und immer frische Pizza Stücke in den verschiedensten Sorten. Waren jeden Tag im Urlaub dort essen.

Wonderful restaurant ! we went there twice in row, first time because it was suggested, second time because we loved it ! very good menu, the dishes and products are sublime, and service is wow. Its a bit hidden in the little old streets of Tropea, but its definitely worth to find it. We had a really good time. Grazie :)

Saftige Pizza , belegt mit typisch roter Tropea-Zwiebel & mit reichlich Ruccola und Mozzarella auf knusprigen Boden … dazu noch ein freundliches Wort vom Pizza-Mann!
Sehr schmackhafte, authentische Küche !!!
