Early Christian site from the Roman Empire. Excevated during an earlier age - enjoy while it lasts in this form. It's a PARK - meaning you can walk into it and be amongst the nearly 2000 year old ruins. Walk on stones that people walked on back then.
Admittedly, I've never been to Pompeii. And I'm sure that in comparison this is an impoverished distant cousin's nephew's uncle.
And yes, I did notice the 1970's cement and the fact that a few of the more interesting bits seemed to have been placed there. Possibly from the same site, possibly from elsewhere. You can see similar "bits" in the Museum of National History" in Bucharest. Not exposed to the elements.
I must admit to having - very lightly - touched a wall once or twice. Being overwhelmed by what I can only describe as a carthatic experience.

We wonen vlakbij dus doen hier regelmatig boodschappen. Bij de kassa gaat het vaak mis. Vandaag ook weer: 16x product in plaats van 10x product (plus statiegeld). € 8,76 te veel betaald. Kom je pas thuis achter, dus teruggaan heeft geen zin meer.

Lijkt meer voor te komen bij producten waar cassieres een aversie tegen zouden kunnen hebben? Meermaals zelfde issues bij soortgelijke producten.

Ik gebruik voortaan de zelfscan kassa.

UPDATE: Zelfscan kassa verboden. "U wilt te veel aankopen doen". Parkeerde mijn winkelwagen DIRECT voor het controlepunt waar op dat moment drie jonge dames die niets beters te doen hadden toezicht konden houden.

"U" is nog mijn interpretatie. Het was meer een "Nâhs teveel, môt je mãr nãr dûh kassà."

Totaal omgekeerde wereld hier. Vaste klanten die ter goede trouw aankopen doen worden doorverwezen naar de (wat mij betreft ten tijd en wijle totaal gestoorde) kassa.

Klopt echt niet. Ga uzelf ten rade.
