These garden are beautiful but they are relatively small.
We purchased a 3 pack ticket which gave us entry to the palace, the gardens and the bridge for just £17.
We visited in the afternoon and perhaps the lighting and photographs would have been better in the morning.
Worth a visit and very well maintained.

The Palace itself was remarkable. It's hard to fathom that it was built so long along and in such incredible condition.
However, the Samsung tablet that they give you is a little immature. You scan a QR code and you read a little information (there is no sound) and then you are meant to scan the room and watch the screen to see a rendered version of how it used to look, which would be great for kids, but I prefer facts and historical data.
There were many many signs around the castle explaining things, but it was all in French. It's a shame the tablet couldn't be used to scan those information boards and translate into other languages like on Google Translate.
The large grandstand as you enter the exhibition also detracted from the experience, but I am still glad we attended.
There were some amazing artifacts and the Pope's bedroom with it's painted walls and elaborate floor was our favourite part.

We took the train to visit this very impressive mural.
It's hard to believe it's a painting as you are walking up the street as it has an amazing 3D affect.
The wall is actually flat (it's the back of an apartment block) but the mural gives the illusion of stairs, multiple buildings, trees and even people.
It is very cleverly done and I would recommend seeing it yourself if you are visiting Lyon. There are not many examples in the world as good as this one.

If you are a lover of gourmet food, you simply must visit here at least once on your time in Paris.
From budget friendly pastries and snacks to high end seafood and champagne, this place is the stuff foodies dreams are made of.
There is a gourmet supermarket in the basement that has a huge selection of any gourmet item you can think of.
The 5 levels have restaurants, ready-made options, a supermarket and take home dinner party options.
There are tastings and so much to see. You will not be disappointed.
Highly recommended.

This was our first time visiting, even though we have been to Paris 4 times.
The building is absolutely spectacular and the panoramic views of Paris where you are able to view almost every iconic landmark is worth the visit alone.
The special exhibition was Brancusi and this was great.
After walking through the main halls of the museum we realised that modern art is probably not as much our vibe as we thought and we do prefer the classics.
Having said that, we were so happy that we visited and were able to see original artworks by modern day artists.
Well worth a visit. We spent 2.5 hours exploring.
