The Philippine Eagle Center is a bit of a drive from Davao, but it’s definitely worth the trip. Parking is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, but it is free.

While I’m not sure if formal tours are offered, I did notice an employee guiding a small group and providing explanations about the exhibits. The staff were polite and very helpful with any questions we had.

The area open to the public isn't very large; we were able to see everything in about an hour. It’s inspiring to see such a dedicated effort toward the preservation of these majestic eagles. You'll encounter several breeds of eagles along with other native animals. Be sure to visit Viggo, the famous eagle featured on the Filipino 1000 peso bill.
