Bar Italia,was the best Italian meal Bar None !!
We were looking for a good Italian,but we stumbled on the best!!
Brescetta was crisp and tasty, Lasagna was incredible, served to us bubbling hot,pizza was thin and crispy with amazing toppings.
When ingredients are fresh and staff care about their food,this is the result.
From the owners through to the waiters,all Italian,making authentic pizza & pasta and much more. Even the chilli oil is home made on the premises.
We chose dessert of Strawberry, Pistachio & Chocolate all of which were spot on,and is award winning.
This top Italian has been going since 1978 and you can see how it's lasted and flourished now and in the future.

Pomo Italian restaurant looks and feels stylish with Italian staff and a large real
pizza oven.
Hence the pizza was large, tasty, and fresh tasting with (sparingly used) Nduja paste.
The house fries were deliciously crisp dry and the sea salt was a perfect accompinent.
The down side was the Lasagna. Sadly this was clearly a heated up slice from a large, previously cooked dish. Warmed up in a microwave,it had hotspots and cooler spots with a sauce poured over the top,which masked the heavy, heated up taste.
Disappointing for an Italian restaurant that looks this good.
All in all,stick to the pizzas and you can't go wrong.

Really enjoyed our fish finger sandwiches with chips or sweet potato fries.

There were a lot of things not available,like hot chocolate and sausages.
The barman/waiter was rather uninterested in hospitality !!

As museums go one of if not the Best we've been to.
Informative and interesting crucially interactive too,cable car ride,lift to gantry,steeped in history of the area too.
Recommend this for everyone visiting Belfast,perhaps except very small children.

Great journey from Euston to Edinburgh. Through the lakes.Buffet carriage with great views
