Beautiful place. We entered the garden for free, where you can admire the entire beauty of Belvedere palace. On one side of the building there is such a cute, elegant place where to have a coffee or drink with delicious cakes aside - accessible, prices are affordable.
Didn't go inside due to a tight schedule but the external architecture of this building is simply majestic and beautiful. Nevertheless, I was contented to be able to witness this marvel from the outside. There are also many beautiful buildings and churches at walking distance from Hofburg. Spend a day here walking around and you will not regret it

My experience at Weltmuseum Wien
The biggest museum in whole Vienna. With sections starting from old music instruments to military suits from the empires of the 16th century. This museum has a café bar aswell and of course clean bathrooms. I really liked the Skanderberg helmet and sword. The program with the qr codes was nice too. Don’t worry, you’re allowed to make photos.
Let’s talk about the service. Personally I think the service is just straight up rude. One lady was friendly, but the rest was a catastrophic. The lady in the lobby started being moody after I just asked herto repeat herself and the guards weren’t any better.
Now let’s move on to the financial part. In terms of all they got to offer Weltmuseum Wien offers reasonable prices. For children the entry fee is free, for adults about 18€ and seniors about 16€.
Overall my experience here was quite pleasant. I’m quite satisfied.Highly recommended.

Vous pouvez avoir des explications payantes 5 euros via un flash code qui ouvre une application du musée et vous explique certaines œuvres.
Nous y somme allé en nous avons pus voir des œuvres magnifiques et aussi découvrir un artiste peintre autrichien au -1 du musée Helnwein impressionnant de réalisme.
Une belle visite qui vous prendras 1h à 2 h.

Echt een aanrader! Het museum is groot, er is genoeg te zien en veel afwisseling. In sommige ruimtes was het slecht geïsoleerd waardoor het erg warm was, in andere ruimtes stonden de ramen gelukkig open. Ik moest ongeveer 15 minuten wachten om een kaartje te kopen en kon deze alleen met contant geld betalen (dit stond van te voren nergens vermeld). De tentoonstellingen waren prachtig en het personeel maakte een vriendelijk praatje met me.
Un musée référencé comme un des plus célèbres d'Europe mais pas le plus intéressant. Si vous n'êtes pas familier avec les musées et que vous souhaitez voir des œuvres de Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Matisse, Miró et Picasso alors ça vaut peut-être le coup. Se renseigner en amont sur le programme des expos temporaires. Ce que j'ai le plus aimé ce sont les toiles d'Egon Schiele mais si vous voulez voir un maximum de cet artiste, préférez le Léopold museum. Habituée aux grands musées français, je n'ai pas trouvé cette visite intéressante. Comme l'entrée est incluse dans le Vienna Pass, j'ai profité de l'occasion mais je n'aurai pas payé 18.90€ pour y aller. Trop cher comme beaucoup de musées à Vienne.
Fantastisch mooi museum. Voor elk wat wils. Voor jong en oud. Tot 19 jaar mogen kinderen hier gratis binnen. Maar de 16 euro die ikzelf betaalde (online is het snelst) waren het meer dan waard. Je kunt hier ook een lekker broodje en natuurlijk een Wiener Schnitzel eten, je tas kan in een gratis kluis. Het is er wel erg benauwd. Dat even voor de mensen die daar slecht tegen kunnen.
Fantastisch natuurhistorisch museum met duizelingwekkende collectie. De mineralen- en meteorietencollectie is enorm. Van de uitgebreide zoölogische verzameling zijn de sauriër-skeletten en dar van de Dodo bijzonder. Topstuk van de (pre)historische verzameling is de Venus van Willendorf
Now, if you have ever asked me whether I would enjoy a certain museum in Vienna (the capital of museums), where half of the enormous space is occupied by middle centuries knights’ armour, and the other half - ancient musical instruments - I would probably have diverted my steps to some of the other more famous museums such as Albertina or Belvedere.
And this, I would have missed one of the most fascinating and extraordinary rare exhibitions!
I am so glad a friend of our recommended the Weltmuseum! It is very close to the Vienna opera, and yet - not as popular, strangely enough.
Everything about this museum is extraordinary: starting with the building, the decorum, the luxury, the curating of the art, the space, the plentiful information, the fascinating exhibits!
The armour part of the museum shows armour from different military groups, from different centuries. Most interesting are the full body armours - the variety of design, the skilful handwork and the quality of art even in what was then a soldier uniform is marvellous.
Even more fascinating g were the 10-15rooms of musical instrument starting from the very first rough wooden bows and pipes and going through all the innovations of the 15-19 century of all music groups instruments - from keyboards to strings to woodwinds. One can even play on a few of the well-preserved keyboard instruments. One can see what the piano looks and sounded like in Bach’s, Hayden’s, Beethoven’s and Chopin’s times. There is so much information about the variety of constructions, systems, manufacturers, composers and performers, one feels better educated at the museum then attending a one year course on the subject.
Highly recommended!!

Le cadre de la visite est absolument magnifique. Le bâtiment est de toute beauté et vous évoluez au travers des salles dans ce décor historique. La collection du musée est très bien garnie : Monet Picasso Miro Chagall ou encore Toulouse-Lautrec ! Un vrai régal pour les amateurs d'art !

Musé très riche en œuvres de grands peintre comme Picasso, Monnet ou Kandinsky. Toutefois le prix est, comme tous les musées de la ville, extrêmement élevé malgré des rabais selon l'âge où le statut, et le musée est en réalité assez petit, il est possible de faire le tour en 1h sans trop se presser. Il est quand même très sympa à visiter, notamment les jours de pluie ou si vous l'avez inclu dans la Vienna Card
Enorme collectie met een enorme diversiteit in een schitterend gebouw. De top 100 highlights zijn keurig aangeduid en de moeite waard.
le musée d'un point de vue exterieur à l'air grandiose ! je ne suis pas rentrée par manque de temps.en revanche j'ai fais la balade en calèche située juste en bas, 20 MIN POUR 55 EUROS (4 personnes)
Très beau musée plein d'artistes majeurs de toutes époques (Picasso, kokoschka, durher, bosch, schiele... Etc.)
Que dire de plus que j'ai passé 5 heures dans ce musée sans m'ennuyer et je n'ai pas fini de le visiter. Des collections d'œuvres, des expositions du moment... les œuvres espacées le cadre magnifique, il faut vraiment le visiter ... si on aime la peinture ! J'ai été charmée

Mocht je hierheen willen gaan, zorg dat je in de ochtend komt, het liefste meteen bij opening. De rij is namelijk erg lang als je na een uur of 11.00 komt. Al moet ik zeggen, dat de wachtrij zeker de moeite waard is!
Verder is vroeg komen ook belangrijk, omdat je hier zó de tijd verliest.
Twee etages vol met prachtige vitrines met mineralen, fossielen, opgezette dieren van alle soorten en maten.
Entree was is 2022 maar 14 euro voor 1 volwassene. Echt niet duur voor wat je re zien krijgt.
Nadeel? Horecagelegenheid is veel te klein voor de hoeveelheid gasten. Een idee is om tussendoor te gaan lunchen in de buurt en later gewoon weer terug te gaan. Je kaartje is gewoon de hele dag geldig.

Heel erg mooi en groot museum! Heel veel informatie, meestal wel ook in het Engels, maar een paar enkele keren niet. Was wel heel erg druk, maar geen wachttijden of iets dergelijks. We waren er ook na de wat hetere dagen, waardoor het wel echt heel erg warm was in het museum.
Dit museum is waanzinnig interessant. Dertig miljoen voorwerpen tentoongesteld in een prachtig historisch kader. Zelfs het plein voor het museum ademt kunst en cultuur uit, maar eenmaal binnen word je pas echt overweldigd. De zalen rijgen zich eindeloos aan elkaar en je valt van de ene verbazing in de andere. Kijken, lezen, foto's nemen... Zelfs al is dit niet je interessegebied, je zal je geen moment vervelen. Mineralen, meteorieten, opgezette dieren, dino's... De prijs voor het ingangsticket is zeker niet overdreven en de jeugd mag zelfs gratis naar binnen.
Sehr sehenswertes kleines Museum. Prunkstück ist der gotische Schottenaltar.
