If you are to visit one casa in Seville then this is a good option. You are able to access the ground floor on the entry ticket and can also tour to upper floor with a guide for an additional cost (guided tours are every half hour and alternate between English and Spanish).
You can easily spend time exploring downstairs while waiting for your tour. The building and gardens are impressive and you can also take the opportunity to escape the sun and take a seat in the central courtyard.

The Torre del Oro museum is about the Naval history of Spain and the port of Sevilla. The museum has an audio guide you can use free on your own phone. Remember to bring air plugs. The audio guide is well made and was very interesting. The museum is free of entry and they wish for contributions/donations.
For persons who enjoy learning history this is a must visit when in Sevilla.

Sehr schöner Platz an dem man Zeit genießen kann. Es gibt viele Restaurants um den Platz herum welche aber durch die location teurer sind.
Ein großer Platz, auf dem es bei Tag und Nacht immer sehr lebhaft zugeht und es viel zu sehen gibt. In den angrenzenden Gebäuden gibt es jede Menge interessanter Läden zum Shoppen.
Wunderschön, absolut außergewöhnlich und definitiv ein Must-See! Die einzigartige maurische Baukunst gut erhalten. Trotz begrenzter Tickets war es recht voll. Tickets mindestens 2 Monate im Voraus buchen. Wir hatten (gezwungenermaßen) einen Timeslot am Abend und ich war sehr glücklich, da dann weniger Leute auf de m Gelände sind.
Super beeindruckend. Haben wir allerdings mit einer Reisegruppe gemacht. Es ging schon um 8:00 Uhr los.
Beautiful private home/palace, went early in the morning when there were no queues. Enjoyed the beautiful tiles and captivating architecture.
The Azulejos are the star of this 16th century villa, alongside an interesting mix of architectural styles reflecting the amendments to the buildings over the centuries. It has a very extensive audio guide and was much less busy than more well known Seville locations making the visit very pleasant. We did only the ground floor (check if there is a guided tour in English as there were not at the time we visited). Don’t miss the Arabic inscribed tiles and the busts of Tiberius and other emperors along the main square. Some small parts are under restoration which didn’t interfere with the visit. The plaza the house opens out onto is also very quaint.

Wundervoller Ort , jedoch sehr überfüllt und voller Handys die nonstop filmen . Schrecklich.

Leider von der Altstadt (Albaicin) aus von außen gesehen. Für den Besuch der Alhambra muss man erst im Internet Eintrittskarten buchen, und das 4 Wochen im Voraus: Vorsicht, es gibt diverse Anbieter mit teilweise horrenden Preisen. Offizielle Andalucia Touristenseite benutzen!!
Casa Pilatos is a must see in Sevilla. It takes a little walk to get there, but it's totally worth it if you like history and architecture. It's an oasis that makes you go back Rome, yes to Rome, the house and gardens look very Italian.
ein öffentlicher Platz. Am WE ist hier einiges los und eine Zentrakreuzung für die vielen kleinen Gassan die in alle Himmelsrichtungen abführen. Viele Cafés und Restaurants säumen den Rand der Platzes. Ebenso Souvenir-Shops.
A must visit location in Seville. Full of history, very well preserved. I wish some areas were more accesible, and the tours of the upper deck were limited. Still, a must visit location.
Waren dort für eine der Führungen. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, diesen geschichtsträchtigen zu Besichtigungen, noch besser ist es aber mit Führung, damit man auch mehr Einzelheiten und Details über den Platz erfährt.
Torre Del Oro was a military watchtower on the Guadalquivir River in Sevilla , It was built in 1331, The admission fee was €3 to go inside to the museum in the top and look the samples of the history of the Spanish Ships and after I climbing 3 stories to reach the roof and I got a nice view to the riverside, Nice to visit.
The main attraction of the place is definitely the view of Seville. However the nautical museum inside was a nice surprise. Definitely recommend visiting.

Schon sehr schön und beeindruckend. Allerdings auch ziemlich voll. Das bedeutete ca. 45 Minuten Schlange stehen, bevor man rein kam - bei Regen, 10 Grad und 3 quengelnden Kindern hinter mir... Aber ohne vorher gebuchtes Ticket (mit Zeit-Slot) kommt man gar nicht rein. Auch nicht im Winter.
Drin gibt es dann übrigens keine Toilette mehr, also besser vorher gegenüber gehen.
Man kann sich kaum etwas in Ruhe ansehen. Aber angeblich die Sehenswürdigkeit Nr. 1 in Spanien - da ist das kein Wunder.
Wegen des damit verbundenen Stresses 1 Stern Abzug.

Stunning dodecagnol watch tower built by the Arabs to control access into seville. Now serves as a naval museum. Great panoramic views of the town from the top.

Local que oferece vistas espetaculares dos arcos do aqueduto e da Plaza del Azoguejo . Além disto, pode-se ver parte das montanhas que circundam Segóvia.
É acessível por uma escadaria que parte da Plaza del Azoguejo e é um local perfeito para belas fotos e/ou filmagens de uma belíssima parte de Segóvia.

Beautiful Andalusian Palace, with a squared patio adorned with azulejos and marble statues, that was built between 1483 and 1505 by Pedro Enríquez de Quiñones, Adelantado Mayor of Andalucía, and his wife Catalina de Rivera. Other buildings were added in two following phases, between 1520 and 1570. The name comes from the pilgrimage in Gerusalem of Don Fabrique Enríquez de Rivera, Pedro's son. The ticket costs 15€ and includes the free visit of the lower floor plus the guided visit of the upper floor.
Die Alhambra bietet einen sehr schönen Garten und alte Architektur. Mann kann dort mit dem Fahrzeug parken oder mit Bussen hingebracht werden. Leider sind aufgrund der Busse Unmengen an Menschen in dem Gelände, aber es verläuft sich trotzdem ganz akzeptabel.
Buen acceso. Es un lugar ideal para llevar niños y/o mascota. Entorno muy cuidado.
Worth visiting place. Next to the river and it has some nice views. The exterior is more attractive than the interior. The views are a bit blocked by the little columns on the roof but still worth to climb and have a look around.

This place is absolutely beautiful. Amazing architecture, a must see when visiting Sevilla. The staff was super friendly. The only downside was the heavy Spanish accent during our English tour. I couldn’t understand a word. But that’s okay. There’s enough to see ◡̈ .
Free access with voluntary contribution (small amount of fee) to the navy. Do not miss the display area on the ground floor next to the entrance for going up. It tells the historical story of Seville and this tower - very interesting and fascinating. On the top of the tower there is amazing view of the river and the lovely city. The sunshine in the winter makes the city bright and soft. Definitely must-go in Seville. Also it is nice to walk along the river bank! Some cruises start here!
I was lucky to have an English tour guide about this interesting place. The upper floor is full of stories and lovely stories & objectives. There is also a great view from the upper floor of the whole place. The garden is adorable and therapeutic. I noticed that this place is under management and there are some places that had not been explored yet. I am glad that I spent some valuable time here.
Lovely little tower gem in Seville. Includes a small but very good maritime naval museum with scale models and gold historical info on pivotal figures and journeys. Great views all around from the top. A 3 euro donation is recommended at the entrance.
Schöner Platz in Madrid - man muss ihn gesehen haben. Von hier aus kann man gut zum Abendessen oder in eine Bar in den Abend starten.
Ci siamo trovati a passare lì io e la mia fidanzata di notte. E’ stato un grave errore. Tantissime persone drogate e criminali ci hanno provato a rubare zaini e telefoni. Uno di loro ha provato a mettere le mani addosso alla mia fidanzata e ha provato a strozzarmi. Siamo dovuti scappare mentre uno di questi scarti umani ci inseguiva. Ci siamo rifugiati in un bar e abbiamo chiamato un Uber per andarcene, altrimenti avremmo dormito nel bar ma non avremmo mai più rimesso piede in strada. Posto schifoso, persone disgustose. Il primo che ha provato a rapinarci era un ragazzo di massimo 30 anni che non aveva nemmeno un dente in bocca, completamente divorato dal crack e da altre droghe. Ci siamo talmente spaventati che il giorno dopo volevamo prendere un aereo e tornarcene a casa. Peccato perché questo evento ci ha fatto odiare Madrid nonostante gli altri giorni siamo stati bene sulla Gran Via e altre zone vicine. Spero tutti quegli scarti umani possano esplodere tutti uno a uno comprese le loro famiglie, e facciamo un banchetto di festa al loro decesso.
Hicimos el sendero de las Pesquerías Reales, desde el centro de Interpretación Boca del Asno hasta Valsaín y nos encontramos con este acueducto. Cerca puedes encontrar robles, endrinos, pinos silvestres y muchísimas setas con distintos colores y formas. El sendero es muy ameno y con poca dificultad. Totalmente recomendable
Torre del Oro is a Moorish tower built to protect the harbor of Seville in 1220. The height of the tower is 37 meters. Once there was a similar tower on the other side of the river, and when necessary, they stretched a chain between the towers to prohibit the passage of ships. There is a small museum in the tower and an observation deck at the very top. There is a free visit time.
Lovely bars and restaurants including one of the oldest bars in Madrid Taberna Ángel Sierra.
Hier müsst ihr hin. Reserviert rechtzeitig ein Ticket. Ca. 6 Wochen vor dem Besuch. Der Palast ist jeden Tag ausgebucht. Kurzfristige Tickets gibt es zu Höchstpreisen auf einschlägigen Plattformen.
Schöner Platz im Zentrum der Stadt. An den Seiten finden sich unzählige Restaurants mit relativ normalen Preisen. Zu der dort angebotenen Qualität kann ich jedoch nichts sagen, da wir eher die kleineren Tapas-Bars in den Nebengassen genutzt haben. Denke das Angebot auf dem Platz ist halt schon sehr touristisch.
Verlo es sentirte pequeño y preguntarte: estamos tan lejos de aquella civilización romana con una ingeniería tan avanzada capaz de increíbles logros? Ver esa espléndida arquería de sillares perfectamente encajados unos con otros te deja boquiabierto. Alucinante.
Wunderschöner großer Platz in der Stadt Madrid mit vielen Restaurants. Hier begegnet man vielen Menschen. Es ist immer viel los hier und trotzdem eine total entspannte Stimmung! Toll 👍🏻
Nach dem Kunsthaus Tacheles in Berlin inspiriert
El Postigo del Consuelo, es muy imponente y hermoso que permite visualizar la entrada de la parte alta del acueducto, tiene unas hermosas vistas y nos explica mucho de la historia de Segovia, me encantó, es magnifico.
Está en el Madrid más arrabalero. A mi me gusta la variedad de personas que habitan por allí. Muchas nacionalidades. Me recuerda al Rabal de Barcelona. Debe ser el típico barrio que se le atraganta a una alcaldesa del PP. Le falta limpieza y mejor infraestructura, pero está en barrio popular lleno de color y de vida.
Las mejores vistas del ACUEDUCTO DE SEGOVIA, es una terraza espectacular y su nombre proviene de una pequeña ermita que se encontraba en el lugar.
Se puede acceder por la parte de arriba desde la PLAZA DE AVENDAÑO o por la escalinata que esta pegada al propio acueducto desde la PLAZA DE AZOQUEJO, donde esta la oficina de turismo.
El mejor sitio para disfrutar de las vistas de la ciudad y poder observar la grandiosidad de la obra.
MERECE LA PENA NO TE LO PIERDAS.

Der tatsächliche Hauptplatz von Madrid, Verkehrsknotenpunkt, Ausgangspunkt mehrerer Prachtstraßen, mit dem Wahrzeichen "Bär und Erdbeerbaum". Der Mittelpunkt Spaniens. Leider großflächig wegen Bauarbeiten gesperrt. Daher gefühlt nur 4 Punkte.

Ein Besuch der Puerta del Sol ist unverzichtbar wenn man in Madrid ist, egal zu welcher Jahreszeit. Ich bin gerade in der Vorweihnachtszeit begeistert von Madrids Stadtkern. Alles ist Illuminiert, leuchtet in den tollsten Farben und es herrscht buntes Treiben im Zentrum.
Hier findet man auch den berühmten Bär am Erdbeerbaum und die wichtigste Uhr der Stadt, vor der man sich an Silvester versammelt und mit jedem Glockenschlag zu Mitternacht eine Weintrauben isst, um Glück im neuen Jahr zu haben.

Great district of madrid! Gay friendly and amazing atmosphere! Nice bars and restaurants and also cool shops around this area!
Im Zentrum Madrids, umgeben von zahlreichen Boutiquen, Souvenir-Shops, Bars und Restaurants liegt Puerta del Sol. Hier herrscht ein reges Treiben von internationalen und einheimischen Besuchern und Straßenkünstlern. Für eine Weile verweilt man und hört oder schaut den verschiedenen Straßenkünstlern zu. Von hier zweigen zahlreiche Einkaufspassagen ab und es macht einem die Wahl schwer, welchen Weg man einschlagen soll. Doch egal welchen Weg man einschlägt, man wird immer aufs Neue überrascht und ist froh diesen Weg gegangen zu sein.

I put 4 stars instead of 5 because I expected from the gay area of Madrid more people, more energy but maybe it was so calm because it was January. Althought i had great moment drinking my beer at the plaza and visiting some gay shops 😉
Das Zentrum Madrids, natürlich gut erreichbar (mit Metro oder Rundbus zumindest) sehr weitläufig und es gibt in den davon weggehenden Straßen viele interessante Geschäfte. Souvenierläden haben annehmbare Preise. Kamen mir nicht überteuert vor, aber zwischen den Läden vergleichen!
Es ist bis spät am Abend echt viel los. Aufführungen von Artisten und Künstlern scheint es hier laufend zu geben. Auch zum Mitmachen für Publikum (also aufpassen, wenn man in der 1. Reihe steht). Es geht fast gedrängt zu, auch in den Nebenstraßen, besonders wenn das Wetter gut ist. Bei schlechtem Wetter kenn ich es nicht. Das muss man halt aushalten können.
Für einen Snack zum Mitnehmen gibt es viele Angebote und Varianten, die auch nicht überteuert sind (obwohl das Essen sonst in Restaurants teuer ist).
Es gib aber sonst wenig bis keine Sitzgelegenheiten zum Rasten.
Die Metrostation ist zu den anderen Stationen verglichen sehr weitläufig und groß.

Puerta del Sol ist einer der bekanntesten und meistbesuchten Plätze Madrids... Es befindet sich auch der Null-Kilometerstein der sechs Hauptnationalstraßen Spaniens die sich sternförmig von Madrid aus über das gesamte spanische Festland erstrecken...

Esta plaza desvinculada se encuentra en una encrucijada de culturas (Lavapiés congrega a más de 40 nacionalidades). En uno de sus lados hay un edificio ocupado y, si eso no fuera suficiente, el patio de recreo está formado por un balancin desvencijado y poco más que eso. La fuente modernista en forma de un arroyo y la ausencia de áreas ajardinadas, así como la simetría militar de sus pocos y desvencijados árboles dan mucho que desear. Realmente es el techo de un garaje mal utilizado. Es una lástima que este vecindario multicultural no tenga una plaza digna de un mercado al aire libre y áreas verdes que le den vida al área. No hay terrazas ni actividades culturales.

There are no terraces or cultural activities.
