Good quality food! The shakshuka was very nice; the French to toast, though well made didn't appeal much to my taste but the accompanying jam was very tasty!
We also picked up their double chocolate cookie which was very nice but their dessert Flourless Orange cake was not to my liking. Overall, they have some promise but there's a hit and miss involved.

I used to love this place and I have eaten here frequently. Over time, I feel that the quality of the dishes and service has declined.

Food was good, but not spectacular as before. For example, the asparagus was very stringy and chewy. Service seemed a little abrupt.
The best salad I ever had . Loads variety of salad . All good and packed with flavour. Must try the roasted cauliflower with tofu cream and pickled beet .
The food and service were excellent! The manager and staff members were very accommodating in helping me avoid dairy as much as possible. The atmosphere was welcoming and hospitable, and the food was outstanding. Overall, a great experience with top-notch service
Corn fritters were ok but on the exxy side for the portion. The halloumi accompanying the fritters was absolutely perfect though. Service was efficient but not particularly warm.
It was gutted by a German bomb in the Blitz, but faithfully rebuilt to the design of Sir Christopher Wren, who had earlier rebuilt the church after the 1666 Great Fire. Very beautiful inside, with a tasteful blend of very old and modern design . The afternoon light through the windows was interesting.
Major complain is the 14% service charge on top of already quite expensive food.

Food itself was tasy, however there was much chicken with the French toast and alot of it was just the crispy batter.

Service was good though and nice seating.

ヘルシーで美味しいデリとワインを楽しめるレストランです。
他では食べられないような、凝ったデリが沢山あり、迷ってしまいました。
オーダーしたものは全て美味しかったです。
Food was tasty just a bit expensive for the amount of food you get. The pork bowl I ordered as well as the salmon poke was quite small in portion size.

Service was good. No complaints there. The atmosphere isn’t anything very special just standard for a restaurant of that variety.

Went there for brunch for Easter Sunday and we ordered the Shakshuka and one of their many breakfast options (I forgot the name of it but, goodness it was amazing! The honey and feta was a game changer for me)

Not to mention the pastures from the cafe was super good as well The croissant was the size of my hand!! Super flavourful and flakey pastries. (Pictured: Almond pastry, croissant and cinnamon bun)

Will definitely be back!!

Lovely brunch spot, excellent coffee and the food portion sizes were generous. Good varied menu and although I didn't try one the pastries look amazing 😍

A very cosy little cafe with a nice variety of coffees and brunch plates!

I would recommend the Kybelle cottage with avocado! Fresh and very tasty

An excellent option for the area!

The staff was very kind and ready to serve us!
The food here was absolutely delicious m, and I can see why it is so highly revered. The service was also good and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I especially recommend getting the delicious desserts from the bar- they were all great.

The only reasons that I’ve given 4 stars are 1: The atmosphere is pretty poor, and I hate the concept of their “long table”- it is just uncomfortable and weird to have to sit directly next to random strangers.
2: The price is really, really high for the level of dining experience- when I first walked in, I though, ‘£18 or so for a main, seems fully reasonable’, but when you are told that they are all starters and they recommend 2 dishes per person, I think this renders the price a bit unreasonable.
We had an excellent brunch with coffee on Sunday (24 March). All was delicious. Dishes are clearly made by a well trained team. I complemented the staff on my way out and was told that the 3 Lantana restaurants are still under the wing of the same family. Lovely.

Was looking for a cute cafe to study in on a Saturday morning and found Kybelle! The atmosphere is so chill, the staff are so friendly and of course the food and coffee are delicious. Almond croissants are my absolute favourite, I managed to snatch the last one and it was so so good (and absolutely huge). The atmosphere has been so lovely to chat, study and just enjoy. Didn’t eat a full meal this time but all the food (hash browns especially) smell so good. Will definitely drop by again!
Unquestionably one of the best meals I've ever eaten. Contacted the restaurant with a couple of weeks notice to see if they could do a vegan menu and what they did was incredible. Probably one of the best things I've ever eaten was the pasta dish with morels. The tasting menu and the wine pairings are just on another level. This is for a really special occasion and the staff were wonderful. Thank you so much!

*Watch out for the 12.5% service charge*

Food was great and the atmosphere was good. I thought the 12.5% service charge was a bit rich (and not explained) when we had to go up and order and pay ourselves at the counter. I'm not even sure we'd know if we hadn't asked for a receipt. There was no real service, as such until we had our food. Would visit again but I'd question the fee.

We came here on a Friday morning, it wasn’t too busy. Ordered the Medi Breakfast along with hash browns. Everything was delicious! Avocado mash was a bit too limey but overall fantastic breakfast for two since the portion is really big. Great for breakfast!
I had such a lovely time at Kybelle Cafe. I ordered an oat vanilla latte which was so delicious and hot, and a big croissant that made my day!!! I really recommend this cafe for anyone wanting a great cafe atmosphere that offers lovely customer service.

this is an incredibly chill cafe. Mediterranean inspired menu, let me tell you, it's freaking amazing. the atmosphere is SOOOO relaxing. piano music is my favorite. I highly recommend you at least come and try this place. food portions are amazingly huge.
Excellent breads and oil. Tasty food especially the roast carrots and the sea bass. Cakes to die for. Very good service. Pleasing decor and acoustics tolerable. You get round the intrinsic problems of a sharing menu (more of a kitchen than customer benefit; plates too small to share) by ordering two of each dish you like. Could have been a five with a couple of non-alcoholic beers on the list. £50 a head with waters.
We went to celebrate an anniversary. We enjoyed the tasting menu for dinner and it was excellent! Stand out aspects were the beetroot horseradish macaron, halibut ceviche, Orkney scallop with caviar. The staff are knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The decor is elegant and understated. It was a wonderful experience and we will be back. Highly recommended!!!!
Grande location, ottima pedonalizzazione.
Quality of the meat is always great, regularly pop into old swan and Ian and all the team here are so friendly. Perfect for a hot lunch as well or tea for the family!!
This is a guild church, worshipping in the modern Catholic tradition. It has been a place of worship for over a thousand years. It was renovated by Sir Christopher Wren in 1687. It was badly damaged in 1941 by an incendiary bomb and rebuilt in 1961. Recently updated and decorated, it re opened in May 2019.
Never had a problem with Bexleys until this occasion. Bought a piece of topside beef for Christmas. Cooked it medium rare as normal and rested it for 30 minutes. It turned out to be the worst beef joint I've ever had from there. After I'd cut off all the fat and gristle which was just under half of the 1kg joint, what was left was as tough as braising steak. I'm sure this was just a one off but it was disappointing on Christmas day.
A gorgeous menu with tasting option and market option.
We had the market option which was delicious. We accompanied the meal with a glass of red and the cheese course with a glass of tawney port.
The only thing to bring down the total scores was the plastic table decorations, they may last longer than real plants but they just don't cut the mustard in today's environmental conditions.

We had a lovely brunch here - the shakshuka in particular was exceptional and I wish I'd got it myself. The coffee was burnt and when I asked for a new one, it was still very bitter. I don't know if that's a particular roast but it wasn't to my taste. One of our waitresses (with red hair) was absolutely lovely, balanced out by another waitress (brunette) who treated us with classic London indifference and sullenness lol. The bakery counter and lunches looked absolutely delicious.
Came here for a work breakfast and it was phenomenal. The menu is incredible, so many good options to choose from, and the food came out quickly. Will definitely be coming back!
Lovely church that has its history linked to Christopher Wren and 'bluecoat' schools for 'deserted young children'. Inside, there is a big and powerful organ, and the acoustic of the place makes it ideal for different kinds of concerts.
I don't write reviews much, but the bar is getting so low in London that I was very pleasantly surprised by how great Lantana was! We went early (9:30am) on a Saturday, so it was quite quiet but got busier as time went on. The service was great - attentive but not annoying - the food lovely and very filling, and even the toilets were spotless! There's not many places I don't resent for having a service charge over 10% (and it's a pretty eye-watering 14% here) but I'd probably have left that much even if it hadn't been added already.
I had the 3-course lunch menu. Taste was phenomenal. The dishes were designed in a choreographed way, whichever starter or main you have chosen. Portion was just right for lunch, although I would love to have one more bite (when it was this good). Cocktail selection was wonderful, too. This is the sort of restaurant to come across my mind every time I want to eat out in Edinburgh.

To be honest this was the worst breakfast I have ever had.
The lady at the counter wad rude , the sausages were not cooked properly, the bacon was burnt , they missed our eggs , and when we did receive the eggs , I wish we never had them they were awfull , they forgot our tea , we had to wait .. honestly very poor.. it cost us £25.00 total waste of money..

The Full English breakfast I had there forgot to give egg, the bacon was burnt and harsh brown was like smash and last of all the tea there totally forget. Overall the breakfast was not worth the money. Not coming here again.

We went to the Halloween special party that was hosted by La Delica! What a treat it was! Absolutely amazing and fun for the children, brilliant attention to detail! Decorated brilliantly! Fantastic staff and can't wait to return to try their new menu and attend any more special events they host!

I keep trying to give this place more chances as it is independent but I can’t anymore.

The first time I came I waited 20 mins for a sausage bap and the bread was stale - along with having a similar experience to the below.

Upon recently visiting I noticed several things. The whole atmosphere in this place is generally uncomfortable. I understand it might be a family ran business but there are members of family/friends who come in and overrun the place. They are very loud and loiter around. The service could be better, staff behind the counter look like they don’t want to be there. I watched one of them go out and meet her friend outside and smoke a cigarette. She stunk when she came back in and didn’t wash her hands. The people in the kitchen are very young and in the time I was there got three orders wrong. I ordered a sausage baguette to stay in and it didn’t come on a plate - she wrapped it to go. She then came out after I’d finished saying she was sorry and “didn’t realise”. I didn’t say anything because I thought the staff were unapproachable. This cost me £5.50.
When someone came back to complain there was sauce on the sandwich when it wasn’t requested, he was met with confrontation.
The food itself is standard greasy spoon hangover type food. It tasted fine.
The place is a mess, with one table at the back being taken up with office stationary.
I won’t be giving this place another chance. Since the new management it’s been really quite bad in there. I wish I had gone to costa. Better value for money!

Me and my partner had a lovely English breakfast here. Good quality leaving you feeling nourished unlike some cafes where English breakfast leaves you comatose 😄
Wir haben den Lunch sehr genossen. Sehr zuvorkommend und sehr gutes Essen
Fine dining but not much else.

As the first in the restaurant, it was nice having the place to myself in the corner for the first several minutes enjoying the quiet. Quickly the entire room filled up with reservations and the normal chatter of a restaurant filled the air.

Ordering the tasting menu I expected to be given a rundown of ingredients and locations with each dish but sadly was not. A simple repeat of the ingredients in each dish as it was set down and that was it. The dishes were delicious, make no mistake. I left satisfied but not full, the tasting menu included dessert and a cheese plate was added in as well. Two glasses of wine to pair with the dishes.

The staff were quick about and courteous, clearing plates, placing new cutlery, filling water glasses and cleaning wine glasses. Again, I did expect more description and sourcing of the dishes.

Seated at noon I left by 2:30, a solid lunch.
Overall it was a nice experience but left me wanting more. Sadly didn't have the same impact as a similar restaurant down the street did upon first visit.
Perfekt zubereitetes Essen, Bedienung perfekt, komplett nettes Team alles hervorragend danke
This church has numerous historic associations with the current building attributed to Wren.
The spacious interior a facsimile reconstruction.
Foundling Hospital 'bluecoat' statues gaze wistfully over the pleasant garden courtyard affording momentary respite from the daily grind and a busy streetscape.
