I was buying my son some trainers from the sale section in the men's department. All the shoes were arranged neatly and I picked his size from the hanger. On closer inspection I saw that the size on the hanger was not the size of the trainer.
After looking through all of them, none of the hanger Sizes matched the footwear 🤣
I went to tell someone and she confidentially said 'oh yes all the hangers are wrong because its cheap and no one has the time to sort them out' (insinuating I should know this)
Hilarious, lazy and being penalised for buying sale stuff by having to pull all the shoes off to check the right size. Really Asda?😃
Was at Asda this morning and seen a member of staff driving a red VW.
So he puts his rubbish on the floor and then goes into work that's the best I have seen yet. I know there's bins there.
Very nice store for groceries, vegetable, bakery, stationery, and meat items, There is small collection of clothes and sandals.

4 visits within a month and zero visits on the shell app. Everytime is the same, they process payment before you come to the counter, then they cancel it, scan your app and then payment process again, that way a visit doesn't show on the app. If you collect points on the app, don't go there. I reported them to the shell, they never ask for an app, I wouldn't be surprised if they scan their own. Very untrained and unprofessional.
Self checking is a disaster such a busy Large store no staff to be seen on the floor selves are always empty and the most disappointing thing is tills are never opened. for large shopping mainly they only have one till for a few hours here & there I had a trolley full with one child at 5.45pm i was refused from the till, if I didn't need my baby items urgently I would of left the trolley. No decency at all we have been shopping there since it first opened with my dad as a child, it has gone deep downhill , maybe because majority shoppers are from ethnic background? that's why they don't care as long as the monies going in there tills absolutely disgraceful management shame on their company. Me and my family have started to use sainsbury's it's million times better, the other night at 15 minutes before closing time I had half a trolley & asked staff is it possible to use a till because they was closed when I got there the staff member gave me the biggest smile and sure you can opened the till just for us that's how services should be I urge people to use sainsbury's or places like that because the more we ignore these little things these big greedy companies are going to exploit are basic living habits. Make us do all the work & charge us 3-4 times more & give us attitude at the same time.
Booked a click and collect and checked in. Sat around waiting for 15 mins with no sign of it. So I head inside, staff nowhere to be seen, one person on the customer service desk unhelpfully redirects me to find someone else. Half an hour after originally arriving someone else finally shows up after being called over tannoy. Hadnt checked the device to see pending orders...so off they went to collect the items. Original delivery slot 7-7.30, finally left at half 8. This was an 6 item order, god help anyone waiting on a larger shop.

What's the point in paying for a slot if nothings ready?
I have found ASDA Trafford Park to be untidy, and dirty, out of date items left on the shelf (Three times I mentioned to staff the gluten free products out of date) Items still there a week later. Home shoppers grouped in and aisle chatting and you can't get passed them.
The free from items are very hard to get a hold of in this store and they don't stock rotate properly. Such a let down.
Got great service from Nick at the petrol station today. Then when i got home realised i had lost my purse. When i drove back Nick had handed it in which I was incredibly grateful for especially as it contained quite a lot of cash along with my cards. I wanted to give him a reward but he advised me this wasn't allowed. So I just wanted to say a huge thanks to him and the team for saving the day.
Will never shop at this store ever again, pallets left in every isle meaning you can't get to the shelves and you can get to the shelves there usually empty, most of the staff are rude and seem miserable, then there's the creepy security guards who spend most of their time looking at females and there backsides, and chatting them up, dont let your wifes, partners and daughters shop alone here, and watch out for the guy at the checkouts.
The place stinks every time I walk in.
Incredibly amazing members of staff . Tess and Naima are undeniably superbly helpful, kind, caring, supportive, friendly and welcoming. These ladies will go out of their ways to ensure I have the most wonderful shopping experience. Thank you so much Tess and Naima for being such awesome beautiful souls.
I have never been so disgusted by the state of the toilets ever!!!
They were gut wrenching. The smell and the filth in every single cubicle of the woman's toilets. Was told that a homeless person had done it. Don't believe that for a second, not humanly possible. Will never set foot in there again!!!
always had a good experience here - courteous staff that respect you - thank you ASDA
Love the shop.. but my mum is 91 and was struggling with the trolley and the trolley man said god take your time why don't you.. which I thought was very much un called for.. RUDE ..
Been using Asda for as long as I can remember since 1985 in January 2024 I was stopped by Asda security guard saying you’ve not paid for your carrots and milk in front of all customers in Asda spoken rudely with no manners as soon as I shown my receipt for the items I had brought from Asda when asked to why I was stopped and questioned in front off the customers in Asda no valid explanation was given person on the radio said to stop you no, apologies for embarrassing me in front of all the customers in Asda I felt extremely intimidated when asked for the designated supervisor or the manager to log a complaint in regarding the security guard
The floor manager that’s been there for 24 years, female name, Lynn I was spoken to her regarding the situation, same thing, no explanation, no apology was given when asked to log the report in the incident book. She clearly refused to write the incident down and make the relevant managers aware and to take the necessary actions and to inform me accordingly, but no all my rights as a customer were denied.
Asda has recently been taken over. You have to congratulate the new owners who have transformed it into the most miserable shopping experience ever.
Must really appeal to people who run marathons in a suit of armour or climb Everest in flip flops and Speedo’s.
The self check surpasses those experiences by far.
Came today and was struggling to find some puff pastry, The member of staff who helped me was an older gentleman called Mike. He even went as far as checking in the back to see if you had any of the item I requested.
This staff member had impeccable customer service and a great asset to your team.
Cashier had some issues either her card machine, otherwise polite.
Wonderful, clean store with a varied selection of goods in the world food aisle.
Self checkout is a joke you stand around for ages trying to get the attention of someone for a bag or to check you’re off age. 50% of the time they have no bags and when there is usually you have to walk to the little desk and get your own because they’re too bothered just staring into space or short staffed. Security also stop you on the way out as well if you have a trolley that’s neatly packed into Asda branded bags that you’ve just paid for and accuse you that you’ve stolen it even though you’ve just walked from the bagging area. Spend more time at self checkout than you do doing your actual shop.
Bought a lamb joint from here and even though it was just about in date (which I discovered once I brought it home) it smelt off and stunk out the house. It put me off eating it, so, that was money wasted. I won't trust the raw meat from there again.
Well organized but sometimes they maybe out of stock and things are a bit expensive in asda
One of the worst place on earth worst customer service . old lady on the self service have no respect no manners too rude always in a bad mood. I was packing my bag she came to me rudely asked me excuse me you didn’t pay for the bag you should’ve paid first. I said I paid you can check the receipt when she checked oh ya thats fine you have paid. What the hell is this ask me politely excuse me did you pay for your bag then ask for receipt check it then accused people thats not good customer service. She disrespect me in front of the all customers. That’s not the way you treat the customers she needs to be trained properly how to respect human.
Staff are lovely and friendly. Always make a good conversation at the till which let’s be honest it’s no good if you go the supermarket and don’t have a chat with the cashier. Just makes your trip that much better and easier.
Pretty good stock for when you’re in the area — but not quite as good as the one in Stockport town centre
Used delivery service throughout the pandemic, drivers always friendly and on time 10/10 to them. Unfortunately, one driver hit our car, parked outside, in March. They were very apologetic and left their name and store details.
Tried ringing the managers number given to us throughout the day but it just rang out. Tried ringing the store, only to hear an automated message "due to Covid our phone lines are out of use". I never knew Covid also infected phonelines.
Ended up going through my insurance, which cost me £200 excess. Still haven't got it back as of July because they won't respond to my insurance companies letters/emails.
Luckily I have pictures and a witness. Could just do without the hassle.

Update: finally paid out in November 2021 just before the pending court date.
Think this branch must have an evil genius on shelf stacking! Saw a display rack of Mentos mints hanging on the Coca-Cola shelves. If you don't know what happens when you mix these products, just search for it on YouTube...
Hilarious.

Always visit this petrol station/supermarket at least twice a week, food a little expensive but the staff are fantastic, always helpful and assist with anything I need. Pumps are always immaculate and clean unlike other petrol stations I visit. Keep it up
