Clean and well maintained social space, thoroughly enjoy just relaxing in the sauna and jacuzzi areas. Received numerous massages from the resident professional massage service for an additional fee.The staff are friendly from my own personal experience. The bar staff are beautiful especially Andres which influences my return. Also this venue promotes a loyalty scheme, following 10 visits you can get a free entry.

I've been trying to find somewhere to go that is accessible for ages, and I finally found this place.
I was a little bit reluctant that I would miss out on certain aspects of the property due to it being over multiple levels, however, everything I needed to be able to chill and enjoy myself were on the same level.
The accessible toilet is on the entrance level, there's an accessible pod on that level too.
The staff were amazing with assisting me to get up and down the ramp as the incline is a little steep to do it on my own.
The spa pool is at floor level, for me it was ideal, I was able to get in and out of the spa pool pretty easily.
The customers are pretty chilled and it doesn't feel like you're just being stared at, just remember to politely decline if you don't want someone doing something.
I definitely will be going back as chilling in the spa pool helped a lot with my aches.
We enjoyed our day at the spa, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, but overall we didn't leave feeling like we'd want to go again. There are a lot of saunas and steam rooms, but no big areas to relax. We also wanted to spend time swimming and relaxing by the pool but the main pool is quite small and it's outdoors. Besides this, the staff were very friendly and the facilities were quite clean.
Discovered this little gem after searching around for a reasonably priced day spa to de-stress in midweek.

I've been on a couple of occasions, both for the "just 4 you" afternoons where you spend around £37-£45 depending on offers available for 3 hours access to the indoor thermal suite and the outdoor hydrotherapy pool as well as the relaxation areas.

The spa is incredibly well appointed with two saunas, two steam rooms, relaxation beds, and a large outdoor hydrotherapy pool. Check in is simple and straightforward and you're given a secure locker with towels and a robe. I haven't had a chance to try the cafe bar but have seen lots of people coming out with very nice looking drinks!

Can recommend for a mid-week pick me up, take a book and some pool slides or flip flops. I hope to try out a treatment in the future.

Worst sauna on the planet, save your money
Managements attitude is the reason this place is gradually heading for closure.
Came in at 6am only to find juccuzi was closed for cleaning, when quizzed why wern.t we informed at entry?
His reply was disgaceful " we do it at the same time so you should know".
Place is dirty, you must pay for everything and management expect you to carry your visa card with you at all times for drinks and bar items.
Will not be back.
Sack management so the poor hardworking staff are left with a fighting chance
Spent my second full day here and still haven't seen everything.
The roman villa is very well done with self audio guide and VR experience at the end which was excellent.
The story of gardening was excellent, once I'd found it.
Excellent food and service in the shop & garden cafe.
Beautiful gardens, very well maintained.
The only improvement could be slightly better signage round the estate, some exhibits difficult to find and some gates locked at end of long paths. Otherwise excellent and well worth the membership.
Great facilities and well kept but it’s too crowded!! Defeats the point of being a relaxing experience. I booked a Thursday evening slot and it was more like a pool party with everyone drinking in the main hydro pool.. no chance to actually use it and the loungers were taken up with peoples towels and bags versus being able to lounge on!

The rest of the spa was nice - loved the steam room and salt room. Sadly it seems it’s more focused on taking bookings versus making sure people have a relaxing experience.

We booked lunch and arrived 30 minutes early. The doorman took us to the bar and arranged for the waitress to bring us nuts and olives followed by 2 glasses of champagne. The restaurant manager showed us to our table and introduced us to our waitress- Harriet. She was very knowledgeable on every dish on the menu - Very personable- friendly and a pleasure. As were all the staff.
The food was excellent - Red Mullet - Veal - Cheese board - wine.
I can highly recommend this restaurant. A very pleasant experience from start to finish.

This is a gym with serious cheating practices. If you apply to cancel your membership, be very careful. If you cancel your membership due to work reasons in the past few months, attached a certificate in accordance with the company's regulations. They will tell you that they will help you handle it. However, the company will still deduct money from your bank account every month. Even if you inform them, the company staff will only perfunctoryly say that the money will be refunded because the company is slow to process. It takes several months. Then he will tell you that the money cannot be refunded due to insufficient information and other reasons. If it is completely different from what the receptionist told you, we will not contact you. They have repeatedly deceived members just to deduct a few more months of membership fees from their accounts. I really can’t believe that such a large gym chain would do such dishonest behavior.

At desk staff member polite but no staff going around cleaning the place this was on a Wednesday no excuse for untidiness condoms left on floor lube and no one going around cleaning and checking if people are OK it should be a safe place and feel very uncomfortable waterloo one lovely staff going around checking on people and cleaning evey 5 mins need to get more staff on all the floors and over priced 24 pounds
We had the most wonderful babymoon at the Newt. The entire ground, architecture, interior, room layout etc. are very well designed, services team are friendly and caring, gym and spa facilities are great, and the food on-site is superb (!).
Also want to add a note to say that we had a special/unexpected circumstance come up, where Ashley and team dealt with promptly and thoughtfully.
It was a perfect stay and we hope to come back again.
I visited The Newt this morning for the first time since becoming a member. The grounds are amazing, there’s lots to do and explore for all ages! I had breakfast and coffee in the Garden Cafe which was delicious. The staff were really friendly, I can’t wait to return!

Used to go more regularly and after a few months have gone back, it’s still as good as it was. Always clean throughout (such a rarity with a sauna!) and the last couple of times I was there Mike the barman was so welcoming and nice, and very good at making me feel at home and serving my drinks with care. I think im now a loyal customer and it’s because of this, I don’t just feel like a coin in the machine like at SweatBox. Great body positive environment, clean, and the cruising areas are great. Big fan.
Lovely place to stay and use the spa, I would recommend this place any day of the week. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Really clean too. Only downfall was the breakfast was cold after getting it back to the table, so I wouldn't choose the hot choice anymore

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, all the staff were superb. The spa was welcoming, cosy and clean. The staff all through were super. The food and drinks were excellent. The spa grounds have lots of different rooms to relax and an inviting, not too big outdoor shallow pool to stretch, swim or just to have a soak.
Pampered to perfection 💆‍♀️Myself and my daughter had a day package with a facial. Easy check in, everything was in our locker, robe, towels and our free Elemis product. We made full use of all the facilities, sauna, salt steam room, ice 🧊 room and jacuzzi pool, that was a favourite, enjoyed a Prosecco while soaking our stresses and strains away. We had a delicious Mezze lunch 😋 Our facials were soooo relaxing, we left feeling truly relaxed and Pampered. Can't wait to visit again.
The Aqua Sana is a really amazing place. There was so many lovely rooms to use, steam rooms, saunas, relaxation rooms, meditation rooms and a heated outdoor pool. There is also a lovely cafe you can visit to order fresh and healthy food and drinks. The changing rooms and showers are big and clean, stocked with soaps, shower gel, shampoos and hairdryers. You are provided with towels and dressing gown upon arrival which is a really nice touch too. I would recommend you bring some flips flips to wear while walking around the spa though
One of the best spas! There are over 20 rooms across 2 floors that you have access to for 3 hours, which is a perfect amount of time! The rooms were lovely but we felt that the swimming pool was quite overlooked and very cold being outside. A nice hottub or jacuzzi inside would have made the visit even better. We had afternoon tea before too which was lovely, although weren't given our drinks and we had to ask again for these as it seemed they forgot and we're given no cutlery, so staff could have been more attentive. Overall, would recommend and would visit again.
Had a fantastic experience today at Aqua Sana.

For the price, I felt like that the value was spot on.

All spa facilities were spotlessly clean. I also felt that the spa wasn’t overbooked. No waits for any of the rooms/saunas/pool.

Staff were fantastically polite and helpful.

A brilliant day. Thank you!
Loved the spa, the variety of things to try and the calming space. Our treatments were lovely too so can't fault the spa aspect but the vitalite cafe was a serious let down. Service was shockingly bad both at breakfast, lunch and tea. We had to ask to be served each time. Ordered cake and teas to finish off our day and then had to ask for the cake to be brought out. Then was brought stale, rock hard clotted cream (expiry of that same day). I asked for a replacement so was brought the same but microwaved. Really shocking service. I spoke with the manager who removed this from our bill but didn't seem too phased by microwaved clotted cream. Very odd. And just left our last thing and thought of the day as being exasperating. I'd definitely recommend management look at the restaurant because it lets the whole place down.
Spent a day here looking around amazing walled garden with thousands of varieties of apple trees. Beautifully trained fruit trees, see pics. You have to buy annual membership to get in but then you can bring friends on day tickets , currently £20pp which is actually good value for a lovely day out. Good cafés in the grounds, but the main restaurant is unconventional- so keep an open mind if you eat here. The food is delicious though! Your entrance also includes entry into the reconstructed roman villa and new museum, built next to remains of original roman villa excavated within the grounds of the estate. It's a bit of a walk to the villa site, about 15 mins, so leave enough time to go because it's really worth it They have done the whole thing really well and to very high standards, all the staff are well trained and very helpful, great to take children who are doing roman history at school. Didn't stay at the hotel but if the rest of the estate is anything to go by it's going to be great! I would definitely return.
Such an amazing place. The service is flawless from start to finish. The staff can’t do enough for you and they’ve anticipated everything you’re going to want. The price is high but when you get there almost everything is included (bar the restaurant/bar) from the yoga to the afternoon tea to the minibar. Definitely recommend staying at the main house as most things were that side and the highlight was the indoor/outdoor heated pool. Will definitely be returning! Also if you’re picking a time, may be worth visiting in the summer months to see more of the orchard/garden (+ newts) and its quieter on weekdays when they are less day guests using the facilities).

There is a before and after in hospitality after staying at the Newt. It’s hard to describe the level of quality, architecture, exceptional service and gorgeous surroundings that exist at the Newt. Above all, it’s worth mentioning the staff. Literally everyone was so cool, friendly, helpful, smart, and just truly nice people! Besides that, we had the most beautiful room. The shower was a dream. Also worth mentioning the outstanding massage by Alisa. She was so warm and generous. All in all, a truly memorable few days!

Overall it was a good experience, however I think they’ve over complicated themselves with all the rooms. A lot of the rooms didn’t work or weren’t warm enough. I’d say only one sauna and a couple of steam rooms were great and the rest disappointing. The “sensory section” was very underwhelming!! However not a lot of spas offer free demonstrations and seminars so this was great - got to try several facial products and the staff were lovely. We had a relaxing morning but, I’ve been to better spas.
Been going for years and the venue has always been clean and staff have been approachable with zero attitude and always happy to help customers.

The only negative is the lack of a proper cruise space. There are 2 dry saunas and in my opinion the one by the cinema could be removed to make space for an open play area. But that might have to wait until I rule the world :).

Besides that small negative it is a great sauna and not deserving of many of the ridiculously negative reviews here.

Go and check it out and make your own opinion :)
Enjoyed the most wonderful, relaxing, luxurious, overnight spa break here.

Absolutely loved everything about it! The spa itself was superb. The spa suite was 5 star. Had a massage that was really good too. Food and service were fantastic.

The breaks are expensive, but an an amazing treat.

My first visit last weekend was great, even though it was pretty quiet. Really lovely facilities (five million times better than sweatbox) and faded charm. Will definitely be back at a different time of day as 9pm on Saturday night was only a handful of people in. Still, those people were really nice. Felt very comfortable as a trans person also. Very happy to have this place as my local!
We went to the Newt for their Christmas market and their Festive lunch. What can we, as a family say? it was fantastic. The staff no matter whether on the stalls, in the shop or in the restaurant, were super super helpful, and just excellent on customer care. I know many may say £45 for a festive lunch might be expensive however, there is outstanding cookery and then some, and the Newt is definitely then some! All locally grown veg from the kitchen garden cooked to perfection in a stunning way that wasn't your ordinary plates. The beef was exceptional as was everything else. I could ramble on and on, but I'm simply going to suggest you just go!

I have been a customer show this owner for over 20 years. I’ve always rated Sailors to be the best sauna in London. Unfortunately the management of the sauna is not like it used to be. On my last visit, it was absolutely freezing cold in the building, the Jacuzzi water was lukewarm too cold. The steam room and sauna temperature was so low that I could feel the cold on the floor in the steam room and sauna. Every customer inside were complaining as to how cold it was. The customers were even walking around with their long sleeve tops or cardigans on. I appreciate that there is a massive increase in the energy prices, but this is not a good enough Excuse to keep the heating and thermostat on a very low temperature. Especially after charging the entry fee of £22 at the door. Surely you wouldn’t think that the management would notice that their customers were walking around semi clothed in their establishment. The management needs to make serious changes otherwise I’m worried that this sauna will not have a future. It would be a big loss to see this sauna close down as I do genuinely love the place..

I visited this place a few months ago to see if it had gotten better. Sad to say it's still deadand Guzm. Don't waste your time or money
What a beautiful place to chill and have some fun!
Amazing establishment, very well thought out, clean and friendly environment.
Huge advantage - cocktail bar. I was served by Donatas and he was incredible. Very helpful guy, perfect customer service, superb bartending skills.
All negative reviews seem fabricated. Guys go and try it yourself - I bet you’ll have a great time!
Beautiful gym next to my office that really felt like home for me. But there is no way they can charge the fee they do. I was paying £210 a month on corporate rare when there is no pool, the steam room can be broken for months at a time with no discount, and no classes on Sunday. I loved the yoga and barre classes and was at the cafe every day, but they really need to lower their fee.
solid gym and helpful staff. they have limited opening hours and only one location. The steam room is hit or miss. Edit: added a star as they are now open Sunday 💪🏽
Smart, clean and tidy and well staffed, ideal fitness centre with the added bonus of a pool, sauna and steam room. Classes are available. This is a fitness suite not a bodybuilders gym. So all you budding "Arnold Cheeseburgers" it's not for you.

We arrived and the jacuzzi was closed. We paid full price upon arrival where nobody informed us about the jacuzzi being closed. Apart from this the receptionist wasn't very welcoming. I understand jacuzzi was closed due to cleaning. In that case you should inform your customers that one of your MAIN facilities is closed for next two hours. The staff did not have any kind of interest in sorting out the problem. No sorry no, apologies, instead they were just rude. Stop advertising that your facilities are open 24/7 because that's obviously a lie. Refund was refused due to - "we just don't do refunds" by Marek. After this customer experience I won't be back. You don't care about customers only about their credit cards being charged. Good luck.
Great gym and well equipped but does lack a few pieces of equipment. Great pool, friendly staff and enough room without being on top of someone else whilst working out. Changing rooms are on the small and there's no privacy in the showers at all. Changing rooms are right alongside the pool area so it's very warm and by the time you have showered and changed you are sweating again.
