Went to the museum on Sunday only to find it is closed. Asked a guy at the art exhibition why it says on google that it is open. He told us to ignore google, and we should have looked at the website.
I'm sorry, but it doesn't take much to keep your google page up to date. I'm not going to ignore the most used source of information on the Internet! Art exhibition was ok...not worth £11 each
The .ain museum is under reconstruction as if writing. However there was a pre Raphaelite exhibition which was really good and well worth the 11ukp enterence fee.
After the staff scanned our ticket he offered a guided tour for free- this you cannot miss out. Bruce Panday explained some of the backstories of the painting- we highly recommend him. Bonus part was the ampitheatre below the museum.

Walking inside guildhall is like entering a retro vintage magical place with a filter

Free and worth your time. There are works of the masters you will recognize- Van Gogh , Monet, and Rembrandt. It’s also incredibly curated with incredibly kind staff that will answer any question. A London must do. (I didn’t have a ticket, there is a no ticket free line I only waited 10 minutes)
went there to see some pre-raphaelite oil painting and artworks. Did not disappoint.
The National Gallery of London offers an incredible array of artworks, showcasing the talents of masters like Monet, Rousseau, and Van Gogh. The fact that admission is free is truly remarkable, allowing anyone to appreciate these masterpieces without financial barriers. While tickets aren't required, the option to make a donation supports the gallery's ongoing efforts. Overall, it provides a great experience for art enthusiasts and visitors alike.
Took the "tunnel tour" on a canal boat. It was a great experience with a friendly and knowledgeable host. All of the volunteers in the museum are friendly and welcoming. It's a hidden gem of London.
Nice Archaeological museum with some exhibits including an Egyptian mummy too. Free entry. Building is located on the University campus.
Never been before and will definitely be going again on next visit to London.
We took 1.5 hours and only got round about 1/4 so it's most of a full day to really do the whole place.
There is a small lift which can easily take wheelchair or prams, enough space around exhibits as well to get around
We did not have tickets so had to go to back entrance, queue went down quickly, just standard bag checks.
A museum in the city center containing historical objects, paintings and examples of everyday items.
Brilliant long boat trip yesterday to Little Venice. Perfect way to suit both active kids and grandparents with mobility issues.
The staff were really helpful and the guide was interesting.
The kids loved doing the locks and having a go a steering and granny enjoyed being chauffeured along the canal in style. Couldn't have been better.
We will be back in the summer to go the other direction.
Lovely day out with friends.
The exhibits are centred around an atrium and its all so informative and well thought out and presented.
To start there's a wonderful cafe`with good coffee and loads of snacks. There's no wait for baguettes, bagels and pastries as there's a team beavering away replenishing the stock as fast as its sold.
I would recommend starting here because you will need some energy walking round. The food was very good.
There are stairs and lifts to the whole exhibition! We managed all of it over the four hours we were here, starting at the bottom with World War One.
What was really lovely was the young Children , so eager to learn and full of enthusiasm at the wonderful displays.
This is an amazing day out. There's lots to see and for all ages.
Before you leave, there is a great souvenir shop .
Fun interactive museum about London canals.
We took a boat trip with afternoon tea that we totally recommend. The boat trip lasted 90 min and took us along the canal and crossing the Islington tunnel.

Jane was a lovely guide, providing us with lots of anecdotes and history about the canal. Martin was a fantastic skipper who made the trip smooth and entertaining. The scones from Sun Bakery (a family owned local bakery) were delicious!
Super super super recommended! Arm yourself with comfortable shoes and clothes because it will take between 3 and 4 hours, but make sure you make time for this incredible gallery! So well organised, so full of beauty and such lovely staff!
I love it!
Amazing gallery to learn more about British history, full with beautiful paintings and portraits.
The architecture is wonderful too and it’s free 😄
You only pay for some special exhibitions and you can have guided tours for free
Worth a visit if you are an art lover- some beautiful pieces from many famous artists such as Van Gogh and Monet. Can definitely get busy in rooms with the more famous paintings, some patience was required to be able to view and admire some but definitely worth the wait!
We had an absolutely fantastic day at the museum and on a narrow boat with the delightful and knowledgeable volunteers from the London Canal Museum.
Would highly recommend to anyone!

Very unique work put on display. A place you don't wanna miss if you fancy an indepth exhibition of artifacts and a walk in a calm park just next to the museum
Closed for refurbishment but Victorian Radicals exhibit (paid) is open. Very informative on the Pre-Raphael’s and arts and crafts movement.
Return of pre raffalite art to Birmingham after long absence. Nicely presented collection.
Wonderful Pre-Raphaelite exhibition in a beautiful building and surrounding architecture. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. ♥️
Good staff and a neat, medium sized museum. £7 entry was very fair. There’s a barge you can explore and a lot of displays on the history of British canals. There’s also a great audio available about someone who used to work in the building when it was an ice storehouse. Very unexpected and informative. You can go outside to view the quay full of barges and wideboats. There’s also a small gift shop full of books about canals. One or two looked decent. I spent about 90 minutes here.
Great place to spend the day. Especially like the instilation by insta griotgallerymalvern

A large modern building; very user friendly for school groups. Apparently they have many thousand items in their possession but not much on show for adults. The Palestinian Embroidery exhibition, although not extensive, was the only interesting area
What a brilliant place. If you're interested in modern history and warfare this is a must see. There is a huge amount to see, aircraft, tanks, missiles and more and a number of other exhibitions including the Holocaust and spies. There is also a shop and a nice café. Within easy walking distance from Waterloo Station
Took my daughter to see an exhibition to be honest I can’t remember what it was but I was intrigued. The process of buying tickets online and the set up inside was impressive. It was nice to get a bit cultured so to speak and I’d like to go back again for future presentations. Ideally situated within the heart of the city with transport links giving easy access you can’t complain. Definitely a nice place and would recommend to visit if you have the chance

Sehr interessant😃
Beautiful, sustainable, and historical place to be. I loved the current Palestine Handmade Embroidery Exhibition. Their local store also has beautiful and Sustainable Handmade Products from local businesses. Check Products from Kennys Global Links if you haven’t - gorgeous, upcycled, Zero-textile waste products (saving unwanted fabrics from going to the landfill).
I came here with some friends, visiting for the first time in years. The museum is very well laid out with excellent information accompanying the displays, which vary from tanks and airplanes, to letters and medals, all, of course, connected to various wars and conflicts where Britain was involved. There is too much to see in just one day, so we limited ourselves this time to the rooms dedicated to the two world wars.
They have a nice café on the premises, although the prices where a bit higher than the usual chains of coffee shops in London, but as the entrance to the museum is free, one should not complain.
A lovely small museum, just 10 minutes walk from King's Cross Station. Sit in the back cabin of a narrow boat, and see how the table and bed stow away! Listen to a Bolinder Engine and see an ice house. Will be back later, when the boat trips start.
Very nice museum, you could easy spend all day just looking at the first tow floors (lots yo read and listen too). Went with my two kids (5 and 11 yo) and they loved it.
Admissions is free but you need to buy tickets in advance.
The entry is in the back of the location in google maps. They’ve got the biggest oil painting in the country and the amphitheater is a great excavation site. You’d learn a lot. They have tour guides in the noons. Make sure not to miss it. It’s all free of charge
Hadn't been since I was a child, gone are the items with a label on them... Well obviously the items and labels are still there, but in-between are dedicated areas to things like WW1 explaining how it started, what was happening though out. Fantastic one of the best museums I've been to and we go to a few.
A very robust collection! The World War I exhibit is excellent, interactive, and beautifully done. Very engaging. Very surprised that the WWII exhibits were not more in depth, it was really just assorted vehicles and large artifacts but no story or connected presentation.
It’s closed for building repairs. There’s no indication until you get to the door. There’s no indication when it will reopen either.
A little underwhelming, actually. Apart from a nice John Constable landscape, the small number of other artworks was underwhelming. It's nice for a quick visit if you have a spare 30 minutes. The Roman amphitheatre display looked interesting but was closed for a school visit, so I couldn't look around.
Nice couple of hours for a mooch round. Some interesting pieces to see and a cafe on the first floor. Roadside parking is available very close by (small charge) and this is opposite the Fusilier’s museum also. There are events on regularly so worth checking social media and the website for updates. Right in the town centre and very accessible from Bury Interchange.
We have just very much enjoyed an online talk by John Sandon. It was lovely to hear from a real expert, and the porcelaine he chose to use to illustrate his talk was beautiful and enhanced his evident expertise.
The talk will definitely inspire us to revisit the Museum.

Incredibly amazing staff members. Currently hosting the traditional Palestinian embroidery exhibition & are having authentic pieces from Palestine. Would 100% recommend the visit.
Nice gift shop items as well, got myself the Palestinian embroidery book before Christmas break.
Free entry as well :)
We had a fabulous time at Royal Worcester Museum there were six of us with an age range of four up to seventy four years of age. The choices of pottery to choose from was a wide variety, there was something to choose for everyone.
We all had a throughly enjoyable morning. We are planning to go back in the new year.
I always wanted to visit this museum. Eventually found it after walking through Coal Drop Yard and across York Way. It is alongside the Canal.
I found it amazing! What a terrific lifestyle to be a bargee. It's quite a small museum but represents a bygone age of Britain and London.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Zoom illustrated monthly talks on Wednesday evenings. I have learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed the information and presentation. So much so that when on holiday from Sweden I, my two daughters and a granddaughter stayed in Worcester to visit the Museum. We were not disappointed. I look forward to new Zoom talks and one day I shall be back in person, that you can be sure of! Hopefully it will be soon.
I live in San Francisco, USA, and I've never been to the Museum of Royal Worcester in person. I greatly appreciate the museum because its online collection catalogue and online lecture programmes are highly valuable resources. As a ceramics researcher (currently Managing Editor of the America Ceramic Circle Journal) and career educator, I find that these resources combine high scholarly standards with accessibility to wide audiences. I wish all museum could do so much!
A really sweet little art gallery with some lovely pieces. The staff are friendly and the tea shop is lovely. The shop is pretty expensive, but no more than you'd expect at this kind of place.

Lots of activities going on for kids so well worth a visit.
Mooi verbouwd, the Romeinse opgraving is mooi tentoongesteld.
An absolute delight, we'll definitely be going back
Great place to visit! I really enjoyed it.
Fantastic didactic experience. Such variety of artefacts. Enthusiastic staff to direct you to different displays. Cafe was good and the cakes were enjoyable. Architecturally the museum is spacious and a great backdrop to contemporary and historical displays. A revelation.
Mooie galerij met onder een oud Romeinse amfitheater. Omdat het wat buitenaf ligt, ook rustig.
Amazing building with beautiful traditional and contemporary art...helpful staff and well worth a visit.

Genialne miejsce! Jest piękne!! Jeśli chcesz popracować to w ogóle nie zwracaj sobie głowy British Library. Tu jest przyjemnie, przyjaźnie - jest przestrzeń do pracy, ciekawe wystawy i kawa.
