We went for dinner on cinco de mayo, and the atmosphere did not disappoint. There was a hiccup with our order and the restaurant was very good about taking care of it & making it right. Great service staff! The tacos and brisket carnitas was AMAZING!! Very pleasantly surprised by the level of mexican style food in London, will definitely return!!

Exceptional experience at Ojo Rojo ! Gave our server free rein, and every dish was a delicious surprise. Fantastic flavors, great service. Highly recommend !

We were served by George and I primarily went in with my friends to try their new menu items that included
-Roast potato Esquites : Crispy, roasted organic potatoes, charred corn, jalapeño allioli and crema
-Bloody María prawns : Responsibly sourced prawns in a Bloody Mary style salsa, served with two tostadas and Tabasco to taste
-Tres leches tiramisu : Cream, espresso, and Cazcabel coffee liqueur soaked sponge, topped with whipped cream

Tried these alongside buttermilk fried chicken tacos and the sweet potato and feta taquito was incredible as well. Finished it all with a lovely set of churros with dulce de leche sauce.

We went on Taco Tuesday with two friends. The staff were friendly and nice atmosphere. Had trouble seeing the menu in the dimmed lighting.

For me the volume of food was limited for the price we paid. £166 for three people seemed a bit excessive. My meal was a Calabeza sharing one but there was only enough for one person. But on the upside we got 10% off on our next visit

Came on a taco Tuesday for a birthday and had such a lovely time. The servers were all super friendly and very helpful with advice for what to order. The tacos were so amazing, and the sides did not disappoint! Had a few cocktails as well and they were so good, best spicy margarita I’ve had in a while. Would recommend for a meal out.

Ordered the pulled pork tacos and was extremely disappointed, especially given the price. Whilst the meat was tender, everything else was sadly a bit of a let-down as there was no sauce with the meat, nor was there the usual condiments like a slice of lime and salsas that you’d expect from proper taco joint. The taco itself tasted store-bought.

Orderes tacos that was really good and enjoyed mix of toppings that was nicely distributed. Ordered also corn with feta cheese but felt it missing bit of flavouring. Service was fast.

Gutes Essen, freundlicher Service. Wenn man etwas Geduld mitbringt kommt man such mal ohne Reservierung ins Lokal.

Fresh tasty corn tacos but a 15 min wait in a fast food place? The aguafresca was diluted juice from a carton…

I ate here a couple of times on trip to Bournemouth, once with a group of around 8 diners, and again as a 2. We had a great time on both occasions. The food is extremely good, the service was at a good speed and we had amazing cocktails before, during and after food!

Need to give a shoutout to Ashley who looked after us on both nights. He was really knowledgeable about the cocktails and shared his knowledge of cocktails and spirits with us.

I had such a great time at this restaurant with a group of friends. The menu was perfect for offering variety across our table and every dish we had was well balanced and unique in flavour. The cocktails were outstanding twists on classics and the flavour profiles of each one was a helpful guide to ensure we all had something we'd enjoy. Ashley was a fantastic server and really spent the time to make recommendations for drinks and food. I went back a few nights later and again, Ahsley was just phenomenal with his service recommending drinks and helping us understand why some foods paired better with some drinks.

Love their pork tacos!!! Definitely a must try item. I also got chilli fries with chipotle mayo. So good.

Tonight's dinner experience with my friend was delightful. Despite the loudly ambiance, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The tacos with goat cheese were a personal favorite, and the rump steak was cooked to perfection. The highlight was definitely the superb cookie paired with ice cream. The service was attentive and friendly. A solid four-star dining experience that I would happily repeat.

Absolutely amazing. When I visited Market Halls Victoria, I instantly knew I had to try this, and it was completely worth it. The portion of nachos is huge! Wait was a little longer than expected.

Fabulous Mexican food with authentic flavours. For the record: I'm Mexican and love Wahaca's menu, variety of vegetarian options and ultimately the delicious flavours and great service. Try the horchata drink! You won't regret it

Whatever you do as restaurant, you don't let the kids wait and serve them food last... a no-brainer, right?
They also try to trick you with the "optional" service charge, as only the manager can change it. We just like to tip the waiter in cash, thank you very much. The food is nice, but a bit on the greasy side. The atmosphere was nice, you can eat well with different types of company.

Delicious food and lovely service! It was my sister's birthday and the staff were so attentive. We had a great time. We had tacos which were tasty, steak perfectly done and the cookie to top off the dinner. We would definitely come back again

We had made a reservation an hour before to plan better.

The place is clean and colorful. The pictures speak for themselves.

Service: Alex waited on us and provided good guidance in case of any confusion.

The menu is simple and clear. The service was quick too. A minor hiccup with the timing of Veggie Nachos but can be ignored.

We had ordered Mexican Chalada, which is Beer with fresh lime juice and salt on the rim of the glass and cider.

For food, we had veggie nachos salad, chicken quesadilla and sweet potato burrito with guacamole.

The burrito was the best one I ever had. Strongly recommended.

Will definitely visit again!!!

Mixed Experience at Wahaca Mexican Restaurant:

As a seasoned food critic, my recent visit to Wahaca Mexican Restaurant left me with mixed feelings. Arriving last Sunday before a concert, I aimed for a light meal and opted for nachos followed by two vegetarian tacos, one featuring mushrooms.
To my surprise, the tacos arrived while we were still savoring our starter. While I understand tacos are best served warm, the premature delivery resulted in them turning cold, impacting the overall taste negatively.
The disappointment continued as I explored the dessert menu. My order of ice cream with pineapple glazed with agave syrup lacked the promised coconut crumb. This absence affected the dish's intended texture and flavor.
Reflecting on the overall experience, I must admit it fell short of my expectations based on previous visits to different branches of Wahaca. Despite the glitches in service and dish execution, I remain hopeful that these are isolated incidents and look forward to the restaurant maintaining the standards that have garnered my positive reviews in the past.nick @doctorfoodielondon

I must note that your comment is entirely invalid. None of us had allergies; rather, one person simply preferred gluten-free tacos. Additionally, could you clarify the connection between serving cold food and issues with timing, especially in relation to allergies?

Had a reservation on a Sunday evening at 7pm. This place was packed. Ordered a few drinks and it was quick to arrive. I wanted to get the battered fish but was told they were already out of fish. I felt that should’ve been the message when seated. The orders arrive quickly until we were ready to order the dessert. Took a while for our waiter to check in on us. We asked for a bottle of water which never arrived. The kids menu has a build your own taco and it literally means that. They bring in all ingredients and the kid can build their own taco. Little messy as the point of going out is to eat in peace and not mess with the kid’s plate. I thought the idea was to order what the kid wanted in a taco and not building one yourself. Overall the food was delicious. Cauliflower bites was the hero of the day. Recommended for a night out with family.

Leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen. Es gibt glutenfreie und vegane Optionen. Die Gerichte sind außerdem gut scharf.

Sehr leckeres vegetarisches Essen und Cocktails. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und alles wurde sehr schnell serviert. Wir haben ohne Reservierung nach kurzer Wartezeit einen Tisch erhalten und alles sehr genossen.

Das Essen sieht nicht nur toll aus es schmeckt auch sehr gut.
Nur die Avocado Creme fand ich etwas fad.
Die Preise sind ok.
Es war das erste Lokal in dem ich meine Rechnung (wir waren eine Gruppe) selbst ausrechnen musste .

Gemütlicher Mexikaner, freundliches Personal und sehr leckeres Essen! Eine sehr gute vegetarische Auswahl! Wir hatten zwei der Plates, die beide sehr gut waren. Zu empfehlen ist vor allem der Sweet Potato & Feta Taquito.

Wir sind aufgrund der guten vielen Bewertungen hin, aber ich empfehle es nicht weiter nur Churros war gut, das Hänchenfleisch war einfach nicht gut.

Das Essen war in Ordnung und schmackhaft. Wir hatten schon bessere Tacos. Allgemein fanden wir es ziemlich dunkel und etwas ungemütlich.
