Lovely location on the Terrace for lunch with my guests visiting from California. Sorry to say our food was not up to scratch in a 5 star hotel.

The food is very good, though quite traditional and not very innovative (compared to some similar places in Dublin). Portions are good.
The restaurant itself could be nicer, as we didn't find it very cosy.
Overall, it's a good place for fine dining, but there are slightly better options in Dublin in my opinion.
Had dinner at House Dublin
I’m extremely allergic to nuts and sesame seeds (I choke if I eat some).

They write the allergenic ingredients which is great.
Unfortunately they added sesame to my plate that was supposed to be sesame free.
I get an allergy and have to rush to the bathroom to throw up to get the sesame out of my system.

Management was very nice and proposed to call an ambulance. Luckily I didn’t need it.

The reason for my bad review is the poor commercial gesture. If someone almost chokes in my restaurant because my cook messed-up, I would expect to give the table a free meal and maybe more !!!

If this was in the US they would have taken this more seriously I guess
My favourite place in the world. Such a genius idea and for €50 it’s a steal for 6 courses. The wine pairing is so worth it. It’s the highlight of the season when they bring out a new menu, can’t wait for Mexico!
Food was very good but some plates were not warm enough to my taste. The only disappointing dish was the lobster roll which was extra. It was dry with not enough sauce on it. The waiters were all so lovely. The restaurant was very noisy. Definitely worth the experience. Not sure I would go again.

Cucina spettacolare e servizio ancora meglio!
Abbiamo assaggiato quasi tutti i piatti del menù e tutti sono stati sopra le aspettative
Davvero super consigliato
Organised a private event here last week. The staff were fantastic both to deal with when booking and on the night. They were very accommodating to all of our needs for the event and looked after us very well on the night. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was was all excellent. There was a nice atmosphere with background music provided by a live pianist. It was very good value at high standards. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would come back again.

Wow. Wow. Wow.
The flavours!
You need to have brunch here. We were visiting from London and this please was an absolute find.

The ox cheek Benedict and frittata were just sensational.

Booking in advance is definitely recommended!

Service was good, seated and given a brief on the menu.

Definitely try the squid dish, the steak , pork loins, and flan for dessert!

Enjoy!!

Thank you Uno Mas for the good experience!
I made a reservation here for a birthday celebration. The tasting menu was a nod to New York. The classic menu was unique and interesting, we also had the Lobster Roll add on. Our favourite was Course 3, the Pastrami Sandwich and Course 6, the Lower East Side Apple pie.
The atmosphere was pleasant and staff were on the ball. The downsides were I was served a course that had a stray hair on the food. I noticed this immediately and a new plate was prepared. Course 5 Chicken was bland and slightly cold as if it had been made in advance. The course sizes were inconsistent between myself and my partners plates. Lastly where we were seated, happened to be where a majority of the waiting staff would congregate and chit-chat with one other, which resulted in us hearing their full on conversations.

Overall we felt that for the cost of the meal, we were expecting to be blown away, unfortunately we left feeling under whelmed.
A very unique experience. If you like to try new cuisines and experience fine dinning then this place is for you. Ireland doesn’t have many experiences like this so it’s very exciting when you find a place like six by Nico. The menu is set and changes every 6 weeks. We had the Hanoi menu , very delicious dishes. It was also our anniversary and they wrote a cute “happy anniversary” on our desert which i appreciated! The atmosphere is very calm and gets you in a great mood.

Was there for Lunch and the lamb was superb - medium rare - and cooked to perfection. So tasty….
Had a slight problem with the wine (Mersault premier cru) as it was ever so slightly corked, nevertheless the sommelier changed it immediately, and the next was perfect.
Staff super attentive, and welcoming- as always.
Thank you Merrion…..

Good food and friendly service. My wife and I decided to go there on a whim, recently, and thankfully, there was a table available.

The snacks were delicious, especially the crab and seaweed rostini. I ordered the seafood special -- halibut with a prawn mousse and squid mariniere -- that was tasty and my wife loved her mushroom entree. Dessert was a date putting with toffee and salted caramel Ice cream that we thought was very well balanced.

Good meal overall.
The carbonara was so good! Perfect portion at a good price for the Temple bar area. The restaurant is beautiful and the chairs are comfortable. The staff were polite. I will be back for sure.

A nice cozy bistro like place. Service was fast and kind. Food was ok but nothing was really amazing, maybe I was unlucky with my choices?
We have been to Six By Nico before and had a nice experience. So, we decided to try the Trust menu this time. Let me tell you, this was so much fun! I don't know if it was extra exciting and fun because me and my partner are very competitive or what it was, but we had a blast! It was so nice to try all different textures, flavours and interesting ingredient combinations. The staff that attended us were all very kind and definitely had a good laugh at our strange guessings. Overall, an amazing idea to try with friends, dates and family.
PS - After reading some reviews, I really think people expect to pay €60 and be treated like royalty... It's just a restaurant with normal people like you and I working there. Chill!
(It is a 10 course menu, but i was too eager to try the different foods that I forgot to take photos of them all!xD)
Everything we wanted! Delicious food, great service and a good atmosphere. If I could recommend 1 thing it has to be the date pudding... Amazing! I was the only one at our table who wanted dessert but as soon as it arrived all the other attacked it like vultures.
We ate at House Dublin on a Friday! We were really impressed with everything. The ambiance, restaurant design, menu options, service, and pricing were great. Our waitress Shauna was top and the bartender who made our drinks the same. We ordered the Chateaubriand for 2 and had a few cocktails. All in it was about $150 US which was a steal compared to other places we’ve been in NYC. Lastly, they were great and accommodating for our nut/peanut allergies. If we return to Dublin we will be back.

One of the best Restaurant I’ve ever visited, with a hearty and friendly service Team. this food is mind blowing. the Red wine Prunes with Mascarpone was the best desert I’ve ever had. I travel alot all over the world but this cosy little restaurant deserves a spot on my Top 3 Restaurants of all Time. The Price from 120-150€ for two People is absolutely justified. You will have a very special Dinner here promised. Everything we was served was absolutly on Point. This is a MUST GO whenever you visit Dublin. We will be back for sure.

Fantastic tasting menu experience here! Food was delicious and creative, the staff were friendly and attentive and very good value for the amount of food!

I was visiting and happened to find it via google and I couldn’t be happier. I will be back again when I come through Dublin.
Hands down the best Alfredo Mushroom pasta I’ve had in Dublin! 😍 My partner ordered a pepperoni pizza and that was super tasty as well!! 🤤 If you’re a garlic bread fan you should also try the garlic dough balls in the starters. Overall amazing food and service!

Wonderful food and service. Not for the budget conscience, but the quality and flavour makes it worth the price. Highly recommended.
I love this restaurant! It's right in the middle of temple bar and the food never disappoints! The pizza is beautiful but my favourite has to be the short rib ragu lasagne! And the Toblerone cheesecake is unreal!

I celebrated my birthday, I loved the place, the manager was super attentive, I had a unique experience, a super flexible restaurant, the chef created a dish, since I'm vegetarian and didn't like the options, I'll never forget this place, thank you the Garden
My first visit there this evening with my dad. I was very impressed from the nice warm welcome to the lovely standard of food. Soup was delicious, arranging had nice sauce and we both had steaks cooked to perfection exactly as we had ordered. Great service too and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended. I will be back
We went on Friday lunch for Hanoi menu.
As a Vietnamese, I would suggest the first course is Mango Salad and Bun Rieu should be the third course.
The food is nice and perfectly presented. One dish was salty but it depends on preferences.
The staff is really nice. We booked with note as birthday occasion, the reception was very kind when she said nice thing to me which was much appreciated.
Maybe just some handwriting greeting on a plate with chocolate sauce or a small piece of dessert would make it more special.
I would give a 9/10 and would come back for more in the future

Nice quiet restaurant in the heart of Drumcondra. Very relaxing atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is incredibly. Best steak sandwich I ever had in Dublin.
It’s unique dinning experience and I have been fifth time there already. The idea with different countries cuisine for 6 weeks is absolutely fantastic. I think my first time was the best compare to others 4. Maybe service became regular as in other places but we felt chaos the last time. Sitting places near toilet and staff room when waiters were too lough probably should be cheaper. Bar service needs to be improved, as we were waiting too long for our drinks and it was not enough ingredients to mix it, they were short for items. Why you offering cocktails if you do not have enough products to mix. After all the distils were served in wrong much smaller glasses. My opining there is no manager to supervise the them. The last, all dishes were too salted and it wasn’t to just my opinion.

Excellent meal*. Pricey but actually decent value for a real treat. (We spent €175 for two including carafe of wine and a coffee. So yes a lot, but I’ve certainly spent half that on meals in meals in Dublin that weren’t nearly half as good.) Highlights were the salt-baked beetroot starter, the cabbage side, the rhubarb and the prune desserts. Service was great. Tables were all booked so we sat at the bar, which was great, and I’d choose to do that again. Busy place and people around us all seemed be having a great time too.
*Only exception to this is the slightly misjudged vitello tonnato. The muffin that come with it is fine, but it just isn’t tonnatoey enough, and making the caper berry ‘crispy’ is just a bad idea - it’s greasy and there should be no cooked oil in this dish. (For a truly excellent vitello tonnato, try i Monelli in Dublin 8).
Lovely service. food and wine also good . I came here several times for dinner as I work in the area. A great place for a quiet meal with friends if you want to have a conversation in a peaceful relaxing environment.
Fantastic food, quick service, a good time and much better than the Google reviews suggest. Cheap beer & better than fair priced dishes. You will enjoy.
Outstanding!! From the moment we entered and were met by Kaite to the moment we left we had a truly memorable experience.

We dined early and it gave us time to appreciate the staff, the ambience and the wonderful food!!
We ordered a shared monkfish main which was wonderful. Plentiful for two and beautifully cooked!

The house white was great with the fish main and we each had a cocktail to start which were lovely!

We also had padron peppers and the cauliflower dish as starter and two other nibbles (olives and bread) and even had space for wonderful desserts.

Katie, Cian and Nick were knowledgeable and great fun to chat with. We will be back very soon! Gracias a todos!!
Best dinner in Dublin ! We were 4 guests : got 2 main dishes that are to be shared (steak and monk fish ) that were both excellent. The portions were very filling as well. For starters we shared sourdough and croquettes (must try)!
The service : we didn’t like the bottle of wine that we ordered (unfortunately, but it was not the waiters fault at all) and we were offered to change it (with no extra fee) . Also , I broke the glass ( and was not charged for it ) and was comforted by the waiter - which is a big deal!
Dessert / coffee good as well!
Will be back for sure !
Dinner at 6:30pm on a Friday evening. It was busy so pleased we pre-booked a table. We enjoyed starters, mains and coffee. Lovely hot food, fab atmosphere and all staff were really friendly and checking everything was okay. Would definately eat here again. Thankyou.

Came here for brunch menu, waitress was very friendly and can't fault the service. Had the ox cheek Benny's which was very very tasty, the small hints of vinegar and spice from tajin and crunchy ness of kale was subtle but tasty. Went with the pancakes as well which was fine but underwhelming but its a hard dish to elevate so can't fault the chef for that. Only negative was the poached eggs were slightly undercooked. Will come back for Tue tasting menu

SO SCRUMPTIOUS SO MOUTH TANTALISING !!!
I went there recently for my lady’s birthday as a wonderful treat and it DELIVERED! Take a look at the pics. Wild boar salami, pecorino cream alongside onion jam on a crunchy crispy potato.
It is great as a special occasion or casual glass of el vino and snack. Had a lovely moment with the dessert coming out and the whole restaurant sang in harmony. A little on the pricey side but it’s banging quality and for an occasion it was a delight.

Recommend the octopus appetizer
Recommend the flan

Had a bunch of other things it was all nice. For the food overall it's worth the price, but the service pushes it a notch since our waiter (who I think is also the owner) was so friendly and so passionate and so service oriented. Nice place.

Great place for a special occasion. Nice atmosphere and amazing food. We started with the beef tartare and the scallops. Both were great and had intense flavours. We also had the steak for two. It had more fat than expected but in the end it was enough food for my partner and I and it tasted amazing. The cabbage was recommended to us and it was one of our favourites. You need to reserve well in advance.

Worth the hype.
Food was really delicious, four of us went there for dinner and we all really enjoyed our meals. We got sourdough bread to start (amazing. my dad doesn’t like sourdough and loved this), delicious seafood, tuna tartare and goats cheese plate all fab. I got the vegetarian pasta for main which was absolutely amazing. Dessert was also a resounding success. Wine was wayyy too expensive though. It’s a small restaurant, layout a bit square. Service was good too

Fine dinning restaurant worth trying. Was my first time here and wouldn't mind going back again.
No tasting menu when I went and 'carte menu' only.
The dishes are very well presented and full of flavours. I really enjoyed every single dish.
The service is great and casual.
Good wine selection.
I highly recommend, but be aware that it isn't cheap.
Mr Fox is one of my favourite, if not best restaurants in Dublin. The tasting menu is always a treat, with the food presented so beautifully and the staff so friendly and knowledgeable. Always a great choice to celebrate a special occasion.

Etto is an amazing spot with great food. Small group of us went here and everyone really enjoyed it. The staff were sound. Only issue was that the restaurant was a bit too warm. Small gripe though, would definitely recommend! 🤩
Tasty, good quality food, however feels quite overpriced. It wouldn’t if the atmosphere was more curated. First we came in slightly too early and we heard we couldn’t have a cocktail at the bar as it was a private reception hosted there. This was very disappointing as the weather was awful and the nearest bar to sit and have a drink is on the Parnell Street, which is a different level of experience than what we’ve geared up for the evening (including anniversary celebrations). It seems that service was attentive only when certain people were around. Overall we enjoyed the food and each other company… but probably we won’t be back.
Great place! My choice was chicken salad, and my daughter chose hamburger from the kids' menu. The meal was delicious, I recommend this restaurant because it is cousy and there are a good service and reasonable price.

Freundlicher Service und besonders leckeres Essen. Die Eingangstür ging nicht einfach auf. Möglicherweise schafft einmal klingeln Abhilfe. 😄 Wir hatten zufällig Glück, dass jemand raus kam.
This is one of the few restaurants (if not the only one) where I could have a gluten free Sunday roast in Dublin's city centre. The dishes were generous and very tasty, the staff welcoming, and the restaurant is truly magnificent with its nice decor. Highly recommended!

Went for a breakfast date here on a Sunday. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very calm and friendly. It wasn't too quiet or cramped so you didn't feel conscious speaking at a regular volume. The food was lovely and the presentation was nice. I would definitely recommend as the menu has lots of choice and the prices are very reasonable.
