Unfortunately we did not enjoy our food at la palapa. The service and atmosphere were wonderful but the food was not good in our opinion. Chips and salsa were great though:)

The fish tacos were very fishy and the hamburger was not cooked all the way through. The presentation was great and the service was good. The restaurant is very nice, clean and in a great location.
This restaurant has the best tostadas ever! The service is great, and the view is amazing. Our waiter, Roberto, was really nice and friendly. The margaritas were also fantastic. Overall, a wonderful experience with top-notch service!
Descubrimos en lugar por recomendación, y definitivamente es un clavito que tienes que conocer si vienes a Loreto. Te recomiendo pedir tostadas o tacos para que puedas probar más variedad. Nosotros pedimos la tostada Buena vida y volver a la vida y la mezcla de sabores fue brutal, definitivamente no había probado esa mezcla de sabores.
Nos atendió Benjamín, fue súper atento, divertido y nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones de la zona. Sin duda regresaría.

We don't normally go to restaurants around the zocolo, but Mita Gourmet is worth the visit.
We had the Caesar Salad and Chiles Rellenas con queso. Both were very well presented and tasty. Portion size was adequate and not overly large.
Service was excellent and personable. The live music was a fine touch for atmosphere.
Reservations are highly recommended, as this is a deservedly popular restaurant.

we recently dined here and it was great, however the server ran my wife's card twice, thus double billing us. To his credit he saw the error and went to the owner who said he would rectify it. On returning home we find the charge still in place and are having a hard time fixing it. I would think twice about using a credit card with this place.
Food is a bit hit or miss. Some dishes are fantastic (beef kabobs), some are so so (eggplant dip flavor was mediocre and cauliflower dish is a bit overcooked even though the flavor was excellent). Pita chips are too hard here.
Service is fantastic. My little one was super tired and fell asleep. I asked for the dishes to come out faster and they literally got to the table in 5-10 minutes. And offered towel and pashmina to keep her warm when she took a snooze at the restaurant.

Algunas personas me recomendaron este lugar y el mismo número de personas no lo hicieron. Me arriesgué por las buenas reseñas en Google y me quedó a deber. Llegué antes que unos extranjeros y los atendieron antes que a mí, luego le pedí a un mesero que tomara mi orden y me dijo que él no podía y solo lo hacía una persona (quien estaba ocupado con los extranjeros).
El sabor fue regular, la relación precio - calidad no es la adecuada; el tipo y volumen de la música en el lugar tampoco fue de mi gusto.

Great place on stone island. Not the fastest service but good and friendly. We were not in a hurry, just there to enjoy a day at the beach while in Port from our cruise ship.
Great little roof top restaurant overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed the mixed seafood ceviche, scallop tacos, and shrimp tacos. Ceviche had awesome flavors and a great mix of fish. Would recommend if you’re hanging in Loreto for lunch.
This used to be my favorite. Not sure what changed but when the waiter spills half of my margarita and just says sorry. No replacement- and i order shrimp and get disgusting fish tacos on soggy tortillas- its over for me.
Hidden Gem!!! I stay on the other side of Playa so I don't usually walk this way..but the other day I wanted to explore..so on my walk I passed by Asi and decided to rent a beach chair for the morning/afternoon. When you rent a chair you also get a towel so you don’t have to bring your own towel. So happy I decided to spend the day here. This is now one of my favorite beach bar/restaurant to relax and tan at.
When I came Roberto immediately greeted me and he was also my server. Roberto was awesome!!! He made me feel welcome even though I was alone. 10/10 service!!!! Everyone I interacted with at Asi was very friendly. I love that the beach area is not surrounded by a lot of people. Very relaxing!!! I enjoyed a couple cocktails by the beach and had a great Saturday and Sunday here. I will be back 😊

Local reference from Ramon our kayak provider. Upstairs, not fancy, but open air, shaded, service and food was yummy. Location across from the water was very pleasant.
Un excelente restaurante en Loreto, la atención de Benjamin siempre hace una divertida comida, la comida es deliciosa no importa que pidas es sabroso, siempre que vengo a Loreto como en este fabuloso lugar
My dad and I visited Mita Gourmet on our trip to Loreto, and it quickly became our favorite spot. The food was incredible! I had phenomenal tacos with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh toppings. Other standouts included the chile rellenos and the surprisingly delicious beef Bolognese pasta. We raved about Mita Gourmet to our group, and they were lucky enough to snag a reservation for our last night. The restaurant was very accommodating to our large party (14 people) and everyone loved their meals. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Loreto!
Excellent Sunday Brunch! Very fresh. Has traditional Mexican and American options. Staff was very helpful and kind. Beautiful view of the Sea, especially from the outdoor terrace.

We went to Jaimies Blue Reef last year while on a cruise. The location was really convenient to the port and did not take long to get to. The overall vibe is very rustic but in a charming way. We had the most relaxing day vibing on the beach and enjoying the water. The staff worst so hard to ensure that your every need is met and that you are having a good time. The only thing that we didn't love was that they are on a pretty busy part of the beach with a number of similar properties so you have beach vendors coming by every few minutes trying to sell you items or people dressed in costumes wanting to take pictures for tips. I would not let this distract you from enjoying the property but you should be aware. Also they do not provide transportation from the port like some other properties so make sure you talk to your cab drivers BEFORE you get in, there are issues with some dishonest taxis in the area so just keep this in mind.
Staying at the fairmont and tried this restaurant because we were looking for a different option than the buffet, which on my opinion is not up to fairmont standards.
The service was terrible. Took 25 minutes to get a glass of orange juice. One of our orders came out totally wrong. The yogurt parfait came 10 minutes after everyone got their food. Would not reccomend if you are expecting fairmont quality food and service.

Delicious! I had the Huevos Rancheros which was simple and perfect with a very light tomato sauce.
My friend had something that looked like breakfast lasagna. I forgot the name. It was amazing too.

We went to the hotel on a cruise for the day. The beach was clean and had plenty of shade and a great breeze. Costa Maya is a poor and not very developed port. Do not expect Disney World. We felt safe and had no issues. Vendors were present but very polite and never hassled us.
The food was great and the drinks were strong. The service was great. Digby, Chucho and Ale were awesome. Thank you everyone. I highly recommend this spot.

Agave Azul overlooks a lagoon at The Rosewood Mayakoba resort in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. The restaurant has a seafood infused menu with an asian flair. The restaurant is kid friendly, and the servers are very attentive.
My favorites from off the menu were the advocado crab truffle, sushi, and the sautéed shrimp with "salsa macha-miso."

Awesome place with a beautiful setting! A nice connection with our fishing trip ending with cooking our amberjack!The team was great starting our lunch while we want back to our hotel to change out after our fishing trip. Customer service was very attentive and accommodating!

Such a bummer. 1.75 hrs later, we had to tell them we would take it to go. They looked aghast but there were 10 of us with kids and at some point- it’s just not worth it. We paid full price and walked out with our food in 5 minutes, so frustrating. L
Excelente opción en Loreto, el menú es muy variado y todo lo que pedimos fue de nuestro agrado. Las fajitas mixtas, deliciosas. La atención Muy buena y el tiempo de espera bastante aceptable. Sin duda volveremos a visitarlos
We did a day at the beach - Jaimie’s Blue Reef off a cruise. And had a great time. Service was first rate. Never wanted for food or drink. Beach is wonderful. Easy to get to and get back to the port and the ship.
Third time visiting Jaime's Blue Reef on a day pass. Food and the drinks were amazing. Chucho & Digby keep us very well hydrated. LOL
Very clean beach with lots of room. Can't wait for our next trip to Costa Maya. We will be back!!!

Pedimos aguachile verde de camarón, tacos de pescado y un caldo de mariscos- todo riquísimo y una presentación excelente. Nos regalaron un poco de sashimi para probar y era exquisito. Buena Vida es una joya culinaria en La Baja, y sin duda regresaremos.
Party of 2 on a Saturday night, we were the only ones there, staff was friendly. We both ordered fish taco plate, portions were small for the price. Tacos were bare, just fish and tortilla, no crema of any type so in other words dry, came with salad on the side. Not sure we'd go back, definitely not for tacos
The refried beans were barely room temperature when served. Service was slow and the server needed to be reminded that our drinks were sitting at the bar waiting for him to pick up. The chips and salsa were ok, but the salsa containers were barely full, as if they had come from another table without being refilled.

Me encantó el lugar, se ve bien, está limpio, el mesero fue amable y todo lo que le pregunté me contestó amablemente. Con tu consumo puedes hacer uso de amacas, camastros y regaderas. Los precios son juntos y la comida tenía buena pinta y estuvo de buen sabor.
También tiene un hotel, así que es una excelente opción para pasar unos días ahí.

Our family of 10 (including 2 toddlers) went to Jaime's Blue Reef from a Norwegian cruise last week (the first week of 2024). We've been on around 12 cruises and that means we've been to a lot of ports and done a lot of "excursions." Note that we almost never do ones from the boat directly, which was the case here. It was all-you-can-eat for around $35, and adding all-you-can-drink was about $20 more. The taxi was $4 per person from the port, and that was separate. I'm burying the lead here a bit, so I'll add some capital letters. THIS WAS OUR FAVORITE PORT DAY EVER. The servers, Chuco and Alex, were fantastic. The bartender, Ale, was wonderful too. The staff was so kind the whole time. The food was good. The drinks were plentiful. The beach was great for the kids, and we each had our own lounge chair. We did all get massages, but we walked down the road a bit to get them cheaper. We ended up paying a woman named Lily $25 for one hour and all the adults got those. I think Jaime's was charging $50 for the same. Obviously, we tipped everyone because it was awesome. If you're thinking of booking the day trip/excusion, do it!
Good food, nice enough setting. The service was a bit slow and our entrees came out at vastly different times. We were a big group, though, so maybe it's better with a smaller party.
First off, some of the reviews are way off! I have been a chef in San Diego for 25 years, the chef owner here is fantastic. He makes things to order, the way you want, any sauce you like.

We made a last-minute reservation for Christmas Eve.. We could not believe we got in. A little mix-up regarding our reservation (probably since it was last minute) was handled with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.
I was disappointed to see that the full menu was not available. Just a set menu with a choice of pork or turkey. Not what I was wanting in Mexico. But;
We tried both. WOW! What an incredible meal. The presentation, preparation, and flavors were outstanding!

We came for lunch and it turned out to be the best meal we had at Mayakoba. We got the fried fish and a salad with chicken plus churros for dessert. The restaurant was beautiful and our waiter was wonderful. I definitely recommend the fried fish which was our waiter’s recommendation.

Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich und das Essen, in meinem Fall das Frühstück, war sehr lecker. Das Restaurant ist direkt am Meer, das Wasser ist nicht wirklich zugänglich, viele Boote sind angebunden und es hat nicht wirklich einen Strand ins Wasser aber das tut der tollen Aussicht keinen Abbruch.
What a beautiful hotel! Right on the bay and Malecon in Loreto. The Sunday breakfast buffet is outstanding. Eggs, potatoes, beans, chicken, pancakes, bacon, sausage, chilaquiles, birria, pozole, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, desserts, fresh squeezed juice... all cooked to perfection. The view of the bay of spectacular. We will certainly be back!
Überraschend angenehmer Aufenthalt. Wir sind mittags während unserer Bummel- und Shopping-Tour über die 5th Avenue zufällig dort gelandet, waren etwas erschöpft und durstig. Vom Ambiente hat man erst das Gefühl, in einer besseren Pommesbude gelandet zu sein, aber dann war erstens der Service super (wir haben, da Regen einsetzte sogar extra einen Schirm am Tisch eingegraben bekommen um nicht nach drinnen flüchten zu müssen), die bestellte Flasche Sekt und die Pizza die wir hatten waren sehr gut. Und das Personal nicht nur aufmerksam und fleissig, sondern auch super nett. Nice little spot for a break off of 5th Ave turmoil. :-)

Las instalaciones lindas, tuvimos vista al pie del mar, puntos extras! Pasó una banda local y nos amenizaron, no lo incluye el lugar, pagas tus canciones.
Tuve una experiencia "incómoda" el segundo día, pasó una señora que hacía trencitas y dio el servicio, luego pregúntamos por masaje y llegó una señora y dio el masaje... antes de que se fuera salió la "Administradora" y fue muy grosera. Le habló muy golpeado a la Sra del masaje, al tratar de preguntar qué pasaba, dijo con usted no estoy hablando (A caray!!! A una cliente no se le responde así).
En fin, seguro tienen algunos acuerdos con "proveedores externos" perooo los visitantes 😔 los sabemos.
En fin, eso dejó un mal sabor de boca.

Gutes mexikanisches Frühstück, fairer Preis. Alles gut.
Ich bin ja vieles gewohnt, aber das war heute die härte. Trotz Anmeldung einer größeren Gruppe, war nichts vorbereitet. Die Tische waren dreckig und die Toilette ohne Funktion ( kein hände waschen möglich, keine toilettenspülung und bei den Männern alles unter Wasser). Über 30 Minuten auf Getränke gewartet und auf das Essen sogar über 60 Minuten. Das trinken war warm und das Essen dafür kalt. Es wurde weil wir eine Gruppe waren, sofort 15% auf den normalen Preis aufgeschlagen. Fazit....nie wieder und nicht zu empfehlen.
