The hospitality at Quintonil is unmatched, even across all other Michelin restaurants I've had the privilege of dining at. From start to finish, their staff ensures you have an engaged experience.

A strong sense of native Mexican ingredients, flavors and cooking techniques. The insect and dessert courses were a major highlight!
This is Pujol’s outpost where they serve farm to table bite size food or high end twists of some Mexican street food like esquites. They are good and I always like innovation in the food industry, but flavor wise I think I’d prefer the actual street food :)
Unfortunately we did not enjoy our food at la palapa. The service and atmosphere were wonderful but the food was not good in our opinion. Chips and salsa were great though:)

Excellent display and flavor of foods with Mexican ingredients! Lovely interior decor and welcoming services. Had nearly 8-10 cups of wines via wine paring from wide selection. Definitely a fantastic experience on my first night at Mexico 🇲🇽!
Made the reservation before they received the 2 stars, but having experienced the restaurant I can see how they earned the accreditation.

The food was a whole journey through each course, not a bad journey, but one that I’m still trying to wrap my head around.

The restaurant was a little to intimidate for my preference, as we were seated in the first part of the restaurant where the ceiling is about 7ft high. The temperature inside the restaurant could have been better controlled, small spaces with that many people inside and staff blocking fans doesn’t do well for air circulation.

Overall it was okay. I say this because the competition in the city is fierce, so we will see how they do to keep their ratings.
Delicious and very big burritos. Service is quick and friendly.
Service was awful. Most of the food was good except for the rice that was spoiled. We asked for breaded fish and after 20 minutes of taking our order they told us they didn’t have any so we had to order something else. So half of our food came before the other one. Once we received the other half second order half of us had finished eating. The caldo was good but they put avocado and it was rotten. We were not able to finish the food as that happened to the caldo and the other plate had the spoiled rice. We ended up waiting for food that had something wrong with it.

The fish tacos were very fishy and the hamburger was not cooked all the way through. The presentation was great and the service was good. The restaurant is very nice, clean and in a great location.

We had an amazing experience. The food, the service and atmosphere were just so good. I am not typically an adventurous eater and tried many things I’ve never had before/would never try before… and actually really enjoyed them. We made these reservations before they received Michelin stars, so we’re not visiting for that reason. Some reviews said service was slow, that was not our experience. Our plates were removed promptly, courses brought out promptly and drinks always full. However, from start to finish the tasting menu took almost 3 hours. It is such a comfortable and warm environment. Highly recommend.
I guess you all know by now that they finally received their 2 Michelin stars… Well deserved!!!

We made a special detour in Mexico City to go to this restaurant and made a reservation months in advance (you may get lucky though, if there are cancellations the day of).

This restaurant is a whole in the wall and relatively small, but nice. They offer local and creative dishes with unique ingredients that leverage ancestral Mexican culture from different states and that bring in a festival of colors. More than the taste, I enjoyed the decoration and technique that were used on every dish. Of course the service was top of the line too.

As expected for a restaurant of this level, the prices are HIGH and if you’re not careful, your drinks can really get your bill up there (at $20-$40 per drink), but they are damn good. If you are budget sensitive, skip the drinks.

I highly recommend this restaurant for people who are adventurous and looking for something different, worth the money to try once in a lifetime 😂
Not worth the hype I think. The only thing I really enjoyed here because of the complexity of flavors is the mole. That was good if you appreciate flavors. One really nice thing is that on another morning I stopped to watch the tacos being made and the chef gave me a fresh hot taco to try, that was very kind of him. I expected more from the other 2 dishes I tasted

We don't normally go to restaurants around the zocolo, but Mita Gourmet is worth the visit.

We had the Caesar Salad and Chiles Rellenas con queso. Both were very well presented and tasty. Portion size was adequate and not overly large.

Service was excellent and personable. The live music was a fine touch for atmosphere.

Reservations are highly recommended, as this is a deservedly popular restaurant.
Very unassuming yet delicious baja food. Very much a local situation. The kind of place you know will be delicious about a half a block away just by the smell of the food.
An alternative to the Michelin starred Pujol. Mainly came for the unusual vegetarian tacos - especially the visually appealing avocado taco. How often do you see a taco with pressed leaf? It was a taco what would work in California with avocados inside - clean tasting. The tastier one was the huitlacoche - aka Mexican truffle. Also tried atole maiz - warm creamy corn drink. Ended our meal with a spiral shaped churros. Staff was standoffish but they did the job so can't complain. Not much space to eat inside so recommend dining outside since there are tables and chairs. It's too bad they close early since you can't dine here for dinner.

we recently dined here and it was great, however the server ran my wife's card twice, thus double billing us. To his credit he saw the error and went to the owner who said he would rectify it. On returning home we find the charge still in place and are having a hard time fixing it. I would think twice about using a credit card with this place.

Absolutely spectacular meal and experience. Michelin is barely making its way into Mexico and I have no doubt this place will receive a 🌟 I'm tremendously grateful to have had the opportunity to experience this meal. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted so good, some Michelin restaurants have a dish or two that I'm not crazy about on their tasting menu, but I can genuinely say that every one of the dishes I had were delicious. If you can, book your reservation in advance, it's probably the only way to guarantee a shot at trying this one.
This used to be my favorite. Not sure what changed but when the waiter spills half of my margarita and just says sorry. No replacement- and i order shrimp and get disgusting fish tacos on soggy tortillas- its over for me.

My dad and I visited Mita Gourmet on our trip to Loreto, and it quickly became our favorite spot. The food was incredible! I had phenomenal tacos with perfectly seasoned meat and fresh toppings. Other standouts included the chile rellenos and the surprisingly delicious beef Bolognese pasta. We raved about Mita Gourmet to our group, and they were lucky enough to snag a reservation for our last night. The restaurant was very accommodating to our large party (14 people) and everyone loved their meals. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Loreto!
Although you may want to go to the proper “Pujol” restaurant, this should not be missed. Comfortable, inviting, and placed on a beautiful street in CDMX. The food was spectacular and very enjoyable.

What an incredible culinary experience. We were amazed at the flavour combinations and the ingenuity of the head chef and staff. They were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, we were blown away by the course that featured insects. Would give the experience and restaurant 6 stars if we could. Deserves 2 Michelin stars (the Michelin ratings have yet to arrive in Mexico) but definitely worth the investment and an unforgettable experience.

Delicious! I had the Huevos Rancheros which was simple and perfect with a very light tomato sauce.

My friend had something that looked like breakfast lasagna. I forgot the name. It was amazing too.

I loved the green juice. Very fresh.

Very cute outdoor seating.
The food is different and pretty good but it is a touristy place since it is connected to Pujol. If you want to try some of their signature dishes but don't want to go to Pujol this is a good option. On multiple occasions one staff member has been arrogant with me. It is one of those places where you feel that the staff starts to treat the guests poorly because they know they are so popular or that they are so over tourists. The things I do recommend getting is their cafe de olla, pink concha, and their avocado taco.
This place is excellent and has almost exclusively vegetarian food. After eating and trying food in Mexico City for a week, I have to say this is amongst the top 3 places I ate at. We liked everything that we had here: avocado taco, cauliflower tamal, esquites, and the quesadilla.
Such a bummer. 1.75 hrs later, we had to tell them we would take it to go. They looked aghast but there were 10 of us with kids and at some point- it’s just not worth it. We paid full price and walked out with our food in 5 minutes, so frustrating. L

The best experience, for both food, and service, in my life. I'll let their food photos do the talking. The description is the final photo.
Every aspect of the meal was perfect. The sauces were out of dreams. The desserts, heavenly. I love the combination of traditional ingredients perfectly matched with more modern techniques.
A must if you visit Mexico City.
Server speak English.
They provide English menu too.
Went on Sunday night around 7:25pm, only two table left.

The best chicken burrito I ever had. The grilled chicken has a hint of rosemary. It’s really tender and juicy.Super burrito is giant, 2 people can share one. The steak is good too.

I can’t wait to go again.

They accept credit card too.

Tucked away off the main streets, definitely worth the effort to find it! Fresh handmade tortillas (we had flour), high quality meat grilled over a mesquite fire, served with a condiment tray of tasty toppings (including pico de gallo, salsa, poblano creama sauce, cucumbers, lime wedges and marinated fresh slices of onion). I had the carne asada (steak) and arrachera (flank steak) tacos. Hubby had the asada burrito (very large). Served simply with the freshly made tortilla and very generous portions of meat to top as you please. Very reasonable prices, especially for the quality of the food. Highly recommended!!!!
Party of 2 on a Saturday night, we were the only ones there, staff was friendly. We both ordered fish taco plate, portions were small for the price. Tacos were bare, just fish and tortilla, no crema of any type so in other words dry, came with salad on the side. Not sure we'd go back, definitely not for tacos
The refried beans were barely room temperature when served. Service was slow and the server needed to be reminded that our drinks were sitting at the bar waiting for him to pick up. The chips and salsa were ok, but the salsa containers were barely full, as if they had come from another table without being refilled.
This place is a work of chefs. Delicious Tamales, coffee, Kambucha. If I wasn’t full, and had a flight to catch, I would’ve stayed all day trying out their food. Everything is made with so much precision and flavor- easily gets a 5 star. I ordered the Calabaza Tamales and the Frijoles.
This place came recommended by a few people. They didn’t steer us wrong! The quesataco de pollo was SO good!
Muy buenos antojitos mexicanos la vdd
Good food, nice enough setting. The service was a bit slow and our entrees came out at vastly different times. We were a big group, though, so maybe it's better with a smaller party.

First off, some of the reviews are way off! I have been a chef in San Diego for 25 years, the chef owner here is fantastic. He makes things to order, the way you want, any sauce you like.
My wife made the reservations for the wrong day, he had his guys move a table out and squeezed us in. Love this place!
Good vegetarian place. If you are looking for a modern twist / flavor of Mexican dish. This is a good spot. I gave it a 3 because I didn’t expect that they have no meat options and I was looking for traditional tacos. Nonetheless, the vibe is good and we get to try different style of tacos / tamales that you cannot find elsewhere.

Excelente servicio y riquisima comida
