The Pantry is a traditional Dutch restaurant filled with beautiful antiques and lovely staff members. Their homemade beer, “Feeling Dutch” is AMAZING!! I wish they sold them at Albert Hijn. The food though doesn’t have much flavor. The fries weren’t fully cooked either. Make sure to make reservations because the place is very busy!
Highly recommended and always buys. It is a bit a hole in the wall place, small but cozy, perfect to sit or takeaway. Busy or not, the staff is always super friendly. The food is amazing, my fav is tjap tjoi, but the moksi is also great. They also offer fair prices for sambal (lagoma).

Two of us visited the Pantry on a Sunday night at 1900 with reservation. Quite a number of guests waiting for seats. Reservation is a must. Tables were quite close but this didn’t affect our enjoyment. Food was excellent. We ordered typical Dutch ham, combination of fish and salted herring. The texture of the ham and the sauce were perfect. The fishes and the Dutch shrimps were all good. Highly recommended.
It’s a nice choice if you are around that area and want to grab a nice brunch or lunch. Wouldn’t say the food is super amazing but it’s pleasing and not bad, the vibe is nice in the restaurant, pet friendly. As an Asian person, I would say the spicy fry chicken tender is bit too chewy and bit lack of spicy, it is mainly sweet. Personally would prefer to be more salty and more spicy, so it will be having a stronger contrast with the sweet pancake.(personal preference) but if you like sweet food, it would be amazing
Service is niet al te best. Verder een mojito en gebakje. Gebak was overduidelijk oud en zeer droog. Bij het aangeven boeide het de serveerster niet zoveel. De mojito was niet slecht maar zeker geen mojito te noemen. Het was een beetje sprite gemixt met water en heel veel citroensap dus een heel zuur drankje.

The food was amazing, good quality and very affordable! The chocolate mousse is a winner for sure! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We were so lucky to get a spot outside, but with them being amazing I suggest to make a reservation in advance. :-) Menus are available in different languages too.

Top bediening, biertje wordt voor je ingeschonken aan de tafel, en uitleg waar het gebrouwen. Keuze eetkaart prima, leuk opgezet.

If you want to eat proper vegan food this is the place 🌞. There are tons of vegan food options which are all super tasty. The staff is soooo kind, funny and awesome. And the vibe is chilled. Highly recommend this great place (and the platter) to anyone!
Nice spot for a meal in Amsterdam. Casual and easy. Good food and service. We walked up and had a 10 minute wait for party of 6.

It's always good here, consistently for years.
While I'm not the biggest fan of their coffee (hard to please Aussie 🙄) their food is always bang on. Have only ever been for brunch, which is rightfully served for most of the day.

Authentic Dutch food. Had to queue for 30 minutes at 5:30pm. Make a reservation if you can!
Food was amazing, really tasty. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very good, felt very comfortable eating in the restaurant. The staffs were very friendly as well. Reasonably priced. It was around €60 for everything that I ordered in the pictures below with 2 cans of coke.

This place is absolutely amazing! The line was long but luckily we came right after the standard lunch service so we were 3rd in line. This restaurant serves great Dutch food from the bitterballen to pea soup to the amazing bangers and mash! The food was so hearty and it was absolutely delicious on a cold winters (and summers) day. The desserts were a bit average but passable.

My family had two wonderful meals at The Pantry. We got there pretty late on our first night in Amsterdam without reservations. The owner said he'd try to get us in but no promises. We did get a table and are so glad we did. The owner and staff are wonderful, with great attitudes. It's a happy, busy place. Had the Dutch ham, bittenballs, herring, croquettes and the fabulous house beer. We came back two days later and managed to get in without waiting too long. Tried some different food and it was all great. The owner was very helpful when we asked for travel suggestions. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation if you're going to be in Amsterdam. You won't be disappointed. We didn't know where to go to eat Dutch food but feel so fortunate we found this place.

Very nice brunch place. Their tea selection is very tasty. Waitresses are very sweet. And we got our food very fast. My friend ordered the Kim’s tacos, spicy and crunchy chicken. She loved it. And I ordered the Princess Jasmine pancake.

We arrived with no reservation but they seated us upstairs. We could view downstairs and see what everyone was ordering and people watch outside. The service was excellent , the waitress had to climb the step spiral stairs and enjoyed waiting on us always smiling and so helpful. The chicken was crispy and delish , the fries were sooo crunchy! Everything including the pancakes were excellent. We recommend the Rose lemonade . Ciao

Excellent food and service! My friend and I came in without a reservation on a random weekday evening and were able to have a table after a short wait but I would highly recommend reserving online! The place is very busy and sought-after. We wanted to try traditional dutch food at a reasonable price and were not disappointed. We had the traditional 3-course menu with their house beer: overall definitely a highlight of our stay in Amsterdam!
Pretty expensive place with small-ish portions that I read about on an online blog. It’s Aussie brunch food, but I can't really attest to the authenticity without visiting Australia for a proper comparison. We ordered pancakes, coffee, and a sandwich/burger with a fried egg in between. The food was nice, but the small portions don’t justify the high price. While the flavors were enjoyable, I left feeling that the value for money wasn't quite there.

We find this on google map randomly and it was soooo goood! It is Aussie-inspired cafe, and you can definitely feel that through their house blend. The coffee was sooo good, it was a fruity blend which is so goood with rich aroma. Also loved their full ranged brunch options, it was a hard time picking the one I want because everything looks so good! All the food was so freshly made and the portions were so big as well.
Lovely little restaurant serving traditional Dutch food. The decor is cute, like a grandma's house, with the random knickknacks on the walls. The service is no-frills, no-nonsense, Dutch hospitality at its finest. If you feel like they're being rude, keep in mind the Dutch are just very direct, and they mean no disrespect. The food is great and the beer especially made for them is pretty decent as well. Go early or make a reservation.

The food tastes great and the place is always packed because the price is also good. The fried duck and fried chicken is the best.

Highly recommend this boutique hotel with lovely owners.
I stayed in the hotel during the Easter weekend. I really liked the nicely and stylishly furnished, very spacious, and comfortable room with a comfortable bed, shower, and bathtub. The room was very quiet, I didn't hear any noise from the restaurant that was in the other part of the building.
The owners are very friendly, and one can easily feel their passion for hospitality. It was a pleasure for me to get to know them. They pay a lot of attention to the comfort of their guests and have put a lot of effort and attention to detail when designing and furnishing their boutique hotel.
They also own the restaurant next door, where they served delicious breakfast during my stay. I also had an opportunity to try their Easter brunch!
The hotel is centrally located in Baarlo, very close to a supermarket.
Baarlo is situated in a nice surrounding with fruit trees blooming during my stay.
Would definitely stay again if I am back in Baarlo.

Love the bar. I’ve been a regular client since they opened and I think the place is amazing. However last Friday we had a really bad experience with the service. Our first round came after 40 min and our second cocktails came only after 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting. Waiter came and told us they will be for free because of the big delay (he even offered a shot of tequila for free after he drop some beer on me, which never came). To my surprise, when I went to pay, the drinks were included. Somehow I got the bill but waited 30 more minutes only to pay. Place is usually busy and that day was busy as usual, but waiters (specially ours) were simply not performing.
Really nice place to eat, with some tasty dishes on the menu. I had the Kim tacos and my wife had the chicken parmy. Both were first class, tender and full of flavour. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food came to the table quickly and there was a pleasant atmosphere.

Eine grandiose Auswahl an Bieren vom Fass und aus der Flasche...ideal um Spezialitäten aus Holland und Belgien zu verkosten...das Ambiente ist einmalig und sehr urig...sollte man unbedingt bei einem Besuch in Sittard ansteuern...gute Einkehrmöglichlichkeiten überhaupt im Bereich des Marktplatzes ... ein schönes Erlebnis 🍻

This is best Chinese in Amsterdam. Very less price and quantity is like heaven...You will be full and still lot of food will be left. Enjoy every bit of it
Erg goede eethuis als je op zoek bent naar mixed grills, Donner of kip gerechten. De 2 kapsalons en 2 Donner boxen waren echt top. Vlees was lekker en goed mals

Only downside is that it is always full just after 12. But if you are with just a few people, the wait is not long.

It's a nice place. Fir of all it was recommended to me by my friend and I will not deny it, it's one of the amazing places to spend Saturday evening . Good crowd

Absoluut geen aanrader. Slappe friet, geen vers vlees,(is opgewarmt op een bakplaat), slappe lachmacun wie inelkaar is gedeukt,kapsalon bakje wie ook misvormt is. En dan bel je ze om feedback te geven krijg je een agressieve man wie je 3 keer achter elkaar terug gaat bellen en het niet eens is met je feedback.

I just ordered here for the first time with my boyfriend, and the food is genuinely so good! The fries are seasoned really nicely and tasted super fresh. I had 2 frikadellen which ofcourse is very simple but they tasted very nice. My boyfriend had donerbox chicken shoarma, and the meat tasted amazing! Also, one of the workers called us to confirm something, and they were super friendly. We will defenitely be ordering here again sometime!

A friend of mine had his 50th birthday party upstairs. The bier was flowing and and the bitterballen were flying (good times)!!!
Food is good. Easy parking near by and cafe is cozy. Service is nice too. I will recommend and would like to go there again.

I live just round the corner, so this is my local. Nothing better than sitting out on their huge terrace watching the world go by. A must visit if you're in the area, fantastic food, great selection of drinks and always attentive friendly staff.

Het is nog een echt " bruin café ".
De bierpullen hangen boven de bar en je hebt er een breed assortiment aan tapbieren en bieren op fles.
Je kunt er natuurlijk ook terecht voor een koffie of frisdrank.

I am a bit conflicted why this place has such a high score on google maps... maybe we just went there on a bad day. The food was super oily, the lava cake was not runny... The restaurant was cold and smelly
Lekker hoor, beste van 079 ! Snel afgeleverd ( én mooie correctie van verkeerde levering van vorige keer ( klein geleverd, groot besteld en betaald )), lekker warm en grote porties. Top ! Tot de volgende keer !
Een paar wrap doner kip afgehaald, thuis blijkt in eentje geeneens kip te zitten, alleen salade.
Heel leuk restaurant met grote keuze aan bier! Het Limburgse Zuur Vlees was erg lekker, echt een aanrader!
Gezellig buiten terras. Precies de juiste stop om een heerlijk koud biertje te pakken tijdens een fietstocht. Gratis nootjes en een fijn gesprek met de eigenaar. 2e dag weer daar een stop ingelast!! Aanrader!!
Echt een leuke en sfeervolle plek om wat te eten en drinken, eventueel voor of na een bezoek aan de Zuider grotten (die natuurlijk geen grotten zijn maar uitgravingen).
Je kunt vlak bij parkeren maar beter laat je je auto beneden staan en wandel je naar boven (dan kunnen mensen die slecht ter been zijn wel naar boven rijden).
Het is is van goede kwaliteit en ook lekker, niet het goedkoopste maar het geld wél waard.

Geweldige sfeer in dit pittoreske dorp, het verse appelgebak is een regelrechte aanrader! Een enorm gezellige sfeer en vriendelijke bediening! Een echte parel in de omgeving!
