Cosy, informative, free. Great effort to save and promote the local history. Kids friendly, with some old-fashioned table games, a piano, and a typewriter 🙂
Ambury Farm Park is a great park that has lots of animals such as horses, pigs, ducks, chickens, and sheep. You can even stand close to them. Good place for families and kids during weekends. There's also a small garden. A free entrance fee is highly recommended.
Really great place to go for walks and take the kids out for a bike ride around all the tracks and all the lovely places to sit and have a lunch very nice
Still a bliss to visit. So many of our childhood memories here, so I guess I'm a little biased with starring this review based on nostalgic triggers however, sad to find the beautiful facilities i.e bathrooms not cared for. The state of it was the worse I've ever seen and for the vicinity, it is pretty sad. Hope this gets some attention and a plan in place to improve its hygiene for the sake of accessibility and usability for many generations & Greylynn festivals to come.
Such a beautiful hidden gem. I only just discovered this place while pokemon hunting and my.. my.. beautifully maintained, Lawns, facilities, it was just mesmerizing and serene. Really good for the soul, captivating and alluring. Nature and its bold giants (massive trees) towers over you while you enjoy the stroll in the park. Hopefully, they'll be left alone and not chopped down as I saw some had been. I would revisit again and again.

Dog walkers still need to follow the off lead rules, however great park that my kids play league at.

Great pump track, ranking #1 in Auckland by miss 5yo. Can get a bit busy, but if every sticks to the rules flows nicely.
Was für ein schöner Park mit Farmtieren. Sehr gepflegt. Viele Picnic Möglichkeiten.

Pleasant park. Lovely long walk if taken through to lower Henderson valley road. Very pleasant scenery. Lots of small walk ways leading onto it from surrounding streets. Always looks clean and well maintained. There's a Bush walk to be had directly behind the toilets as you enter from the carpark. That's a very easy walk. Would give it a higher rating, but sure there's ones better ones tobe had in other parts of Auckland.
Nettes Museum besonders für Familien. Kindern wird einiges geboten. Aktive Spiele mit Technik .Eine alte Straßenbahn 🚊 verbindet die beiden Museumsteile 7 bis 8 min Fahrtzeit. Der 2. Teil ist ein großer Flugzeughangar mit vielen Flugzeugen und einigen Helikoptern.
Ein toller Platz mit soviel Wiese, Tieren, Spazierweg.
Toiletten, Grill und Spüle sind direkt am Stellplatz, warme Dusche am Eingang ca. 250m entfernt.
Nicht vergessen, abends ist ab 21 Uhr das Tor zu.

Fantastic playgrounds, flying fox, picnic tables, room to play touch and a guarded paddling pool
Rất tuyệt vời, cảnh quan thiên nhiên tươi đẹp, nhiều động vật dễ thương. Nên dành thời gian hiking dọc bờ biển Kiwi Esplanade nhé, và cả trong công viên nữa sẽ rất tuyệt.
Richtig gut. Perfekt für ein Picknick und anschließend einen Besuch auf einem Bauernhof. Man kann dort gut spazieren gehen, es ist sehr sauber. Toiletten sind auch vorhanden. Aktuell ist der Besuch zudem auch noch kostenlos.
Great park for riding a bike or taking the children for a walk or a child in a stroller. Huge green field. Ideal for a picnic, playing or running and it’s away from the road so safe for children. Excellent for walking dogs too.
It's a big park that borders other reserves like the Opanuku stream reserve. Most of the walkways are even and paved, but there are also reasonable "off road" tracks. It gets a bit muddy and slippery after rain, so maybe stick to the paved areas during those times. It's very dog friendly. Unfortunately the gate is closed because of lockdown, and there is very limited parking.
There is a map that highlights some places of interest. There are also signs that indicate how long the walks are, and some start from 8 minutes, and others go up to 22 minutes.

Eine traumhaft schöne Lage im Nationalpark. Sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Leider gibt es noch keine Stromladestelle. Trotzdem absolut zu empfehlen.
Thematisiert werden hier die neuseeländische Navy und deren Einsätze in historischen Kriegen. Anhand zahlreicher historischer Gegenstände und dem geschichtlichen Hintergrund wird dies gut vermittelt.
Das Museum hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und ist barrierefrei gestaltet. Toiletten sind sehr sauber. Zugang ohne Eintritt. Kleine Souvenir-Ecke. Nettes kleines Café angeschlossen, in welchem neben Getränken auch diverse Speisen serviert werden.
Für einen Zwischenstopp von 1-2 Stunden sehr zu empfehlen.

Best park in Auckland. Wish I was a kid or had a kid, the pump track looks awesome. Back in my day we didn’t have em, missed out big time. Boomers didn’t sort it out.
Unerwartet gut. Riesige Auswahl an seltenen Fahrzeugen und automobilen Erinnerungsstücken in ausgezeichnetem Zustand.
Wunderschöner Park. Sehr Hundefreundlich mit riesen Wiesen. Sogar Frisbee Tore hatt es hier.
Sehr interessant und wirklich gut gemachte Ausstellungen. Auch die Tram zwischen den beiden Standorten ist eine interessante Erfahrung.
Not a big area but has lots to play. Even a basketball court! My son loves this place when he plays his rc cars there
Das Museum ist auf zwei Standorten aufgeteilt. Es verkehren alte Straßenbahnen zwischen den Standorten. Beide sind sehr unterschiedlich. In einem sind Flugzeuge Militär/Zivile in einer großen Halle zu sehen. Es fährt auf dem Gelände ein alter Dampfzug alle 20 Minuten. Im anderen kann man Dampfmaschinen im Betrieb bewundern. Autos, Telekommunikation und ein kleines Freilichtmuseum sowie alte Feuerwehrautos. Der Eintritt von 19NZ$ ist ok.

Stellplatz ohne alles, aber Airport nah. Wärme Duschen sind an Parkeingang vorhanden. Einchecken ist sehr kompliziert und kann schon mal über 30 Minuten dauern. Schneller geht es über Handy, Die Nummer steht am Login. Der Park ist ein tolles Erlebnis für Kinder.
Mint place! Has bars for adults, frizbee golf,a great walk way and massive field. They often have events on down there or paired with corbans estate. There's rugby, touch and soccer goals available. Great safe place for the family to go to. Has a fair amount of parking depending on what entrance you go in.
There are toilets there however not normally kept in the best condition, you have been warned.

Das MUSEUM of TRANSPORT and TECHNOLOGY of New Zealand liegt im WESTERN SPRINGS PARK. am Ufer des WAITEMATU HARBOUR. Eine dampfbetriebene Lokomotive der Western Springs Railway fährt auf den Schienen des Museums. Mit einem Londoner Doppeldecker-Bus können Besichtigungstouren unternommen werden. Zahlreiche historische Flugzeuge, wie z. B. den Lancaster-Bomber aus dem 2. Weltkrieg, und ein Soldat aus der Kolonialzeit sind zu sehen.

Beste Investition die ich in Auckland gemacht habe. Die 16$ waren jeden Cent wert!!
