Four Square Queenstown is a convenient supermarket located in the heart of Queenstown, New Zealand. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists to pick up groceries, snacks, and essential items. The store is well-stocked with a variety of fresh produce, dairy products, meats, and baked goods, as well as a good selection of local wines and beers. Known for its friendly service and central location, Four Square Queenstown is a handy stop for anyone looking to gather supplies for a day of adventure or a cozy night in.
Semi-well stocked for a ‘grab n go’ store or for the little/general things that you need quickly. Not a lot of options but I think just enough, fruits and fresh vegetables might need some adding onto as the options were not very diverse (like at all).
Price wise it is definitely more expensive than other places you expect (one pickled onion jar was like 11NZD or something?), but in their defense it is Queenstown and not a big cooperate brand type of store. Other than the very not easy on the wallet prices it is a good place for last minute shopping.

There was a huge rat right outside the entrance door. Definitely should be checked out.
Yesterday, my family and I experienced a very embarrassing moment that not only negatively impacted the 4Square brand but also the entire Queenstown. We went shopping there yesterday, and when we went to check out, two female clerks at the front desk ignored our presence and continued chatting in either Spanish or Portuguese. My daughter, in a very friendly manner, greeted one of the clerks with her favorite plush toy, but the clerk responded with a cold expression, leaving my 10-year-old daughter at a loss. I have seen reviews on Google mentioning that your store has had issues with rude and impolite staff before, indicating that you are ignoring this problem. Giving you one star is the minimum the system allows; if possible, I would give you zero stars. I will inform all my family and friends about this incident, as well as my colleagues and friends in the tourism industry and those working with various airlines.
The best place to shop in the centre of Queenstown. The only other competition is Day n Night, which is more expensive and has a lesser choice. There are a few small parking spaces at the front.

I love going to the farm market on Sundays when I'm free. I always find new things like cheeses, salami, pastries, relish that are worth trying. There are also several fresh vegetable options at a good price. It's also a good place for coffee in the morning. I always leave with a bag full of healthy ingredients to consume during the week. An important tip is to bring cash. If you forget, you can exchange it there, paying a fee. Some sellers accept cards. There is also live music, which makes the atmosphere more pleasant. The market is inside a covered area and there is plenty of grass outside if you want to bring your pet.

For everyone's benefit as many tourists pass here, don't be fooled when their staff say that you have to reach out to the manufacturer directly for a refund or exchange for faulty items. We were told that when we wanted to buy an adapter, by a really rude lady no less. When asked if she knew about the consumer guarantees act, she was paggro and questioning "so you don't want it?" (????)
Four square is the retailer here and your purchases are covered by the consumer guarantee act if faulty. The retailer has to make it right. Do not let their staff tell you otherwise.
Fortunately our adapter worked and we liked the store in general. Rude staff though...

Great for a tasty brunch and to do some fresh produce shopping. 4 stars only due to prices. Delicious crepes and pies and take home bakery and preserves worth a visit.
The produce is so fresh and it last much longer than what you buy from the supermarket. You get such a variety in fruit and veggies which is good, you won't be disappointed. Plus the kids love helping me unpack the box.
The service is amazing, fast, delivered with a smile and is hassle free.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids)and ordered the medium fruit and veg box. Was really happy with it as it had a varied selection of each, rather than too much of one thing. Will definitely order again. 😊

Great shop for fresh produce, milk, and especially eggs. I have not seen 30 egg tray in supermarkets for a while, but this shop always has then in stock. Friendly and good service.

Overpriced and terrible fruit. Expired goods too. Walk just 10mins extra and find a beautiful fruitshop called Parklands fresh reasonably priced and amazing staff been around for years that plaace
I just moved In across the street and went here for the first time, they had lovely staff and also the layout of everything was so nice definitely coming here more often.

Great family-owned fruit and veg store. Always have good stock of fresh produce, and also stock a really handy range of shelf items e.g. Tio Pablo Mexican products, herbs and spices, all different types of flour, sauces, cleaning products etc. Friendly owners/staff, love supporting these guys instead of the supermarket duopoly.
Generally okay. You shouldn't expect crazy deals and huge discounts. This is a kind of local fresh fruit and grocery that can be useful to nearby residence. Went there a couple of times. It is generally clean and organised. Staff are helpful and polite.
Great shop. Good service. Fantastic milk and you can recycle your bottle.

My experience is that this place regularly promotes items on their curbside sign at low cost and them doesn’t actually have those items in stock. That’s happened to me the last two times I went to the shop. The quality of the produce is also marginal.
Everything here is well arranged, clean, vegetables look fresh and well preserved. Parking right behind is very convenient. Friendly and nice Staff

Wonderful choice of fresh produce and so much cheaper than even Pak n Save! Pantry staples for Asian cuisine predominantly Thai, Chinese etc. some Indian items too...all at great prices. 2 large blocks of tofu at $3.99. Fantastic!
Lovely atmosphere and fresh produce. My wife and I enjoy going there with our daughter from time to time. Not only to buy fresh stuff, but also our daughter enjoys playing there and enjoy the live music. We enjoy the good coffee.
