Mendokoro Ramenba Salcedo Villlage has a limited edition Hitachi Gyu Ramen (P2,723.21). It's a very creamy beefy broth made even richer by egg yolk and the fat from the beef. The staff encourage you to mix the yolk and wasabi thoroughly into the broth. The centerpiece is a generous portion of above average, well cooked medium beef more typically found with rice bowls. It's rounded out with the contrasting vegetable taste of asparagus, broccoli flower and young corn. It was very well made, but not my favorite style of ramen, and I do not particularly like the pairing of grilled beef and the very vegetable taste of the vegetables. The broth was also richer than anything Mendokoro has, and I felt a slight headache walking out from all that egg yolk, oil and fat. People will ask if it's overpriced, and it probably is considering this is above Singapore prices already; this bowl's price is identical to Fat Cow's gyudon, a higher end Singapore Japanese steakhouse topped with this style of beef but even higher quality. Mendokoro Ramenba remains one of my favorites for solo diner comfort food, but I'd much rather have their standard tantanmen or tsukemen over this special hitachi gyu. The tantanmen has the right mix of spice and flavor that never gets boring, and is not as overwhelming as the hitachi gyu broth.
Nice location in Little Tokyo, Makati. But quality’s not fresh for a satisfying & memorable dining experience. Lonely-looking dishes.
Service could be friendlier. Not many customers on a Sunday lunch yet uninspired serving. They lack the welcome courtesy even expected from a Japanese restaurant. Not coming back as there are many other better choices.

Highly recommended place in Little Tokyo, Makati. If you want a place that focuses on ramen only, try here. Ordered Classic Tonkotsu Ramen and Karai Tonkotsu Ramen. Lots of Japanese eat here. Gyoza - 10/10!

Never fails when you need your ramen fix. Tried it again last night and food was great as usual. Tried the gyoza, bonito ramen and the relatively new hitachi gyu ramen (anniversary ramen) for the 1st time and it did not disappoint. The steak was perfectly cooked, soup was creamy but not overdone. The server suggested adding wasabi to taste and it really works for all ingredients. They only serve 5 of the anniversary ramen per day. The price is a bit high but good for sharing and a special treat.

We ordered the Iekei and the Truffle ramen. We loved both. 😄
Iekei was a safe choice since this is their basic one. For the truffle ramen, the truffle taste wasn't overpowering, it blended well with the broth as well as the mozarella cheese that came with it.
The serving was just right. The chashu were on the thicker side, not that tender but I didn't really mind it. I loved the firmness of the noodle since I prefer hard noodles. Also, we loved their aji tamago, it was perfect as the yolk was soft while the white was firm, it was seasoned well with the soy sauce.
Would definitely come back again to try their other food offering.

The aircon didn't seem cold enough. The shop installed many kitchen hoods. But I still found the air quality not so good.

Gyoza and shoyou ramen are one of my favorite in ippondo.i always go to that place because it is really near to my workplace,and whenever i’m craving for Japanese foods

I suggest you hold hunger and proceed here during weekdays to get a great experience.

Taste was set as “normal” which maybe a bit overwhelming for some, so biggest go for “light”.
Overall doesn’t disappoints but improvements may be done with the saltine of the food.

Simple, nothing extraordinary, the Tamago was overcooked, the broth was alright, but Japanese food lover favoring taste over budget might choose a different restaurant.
The waiter forgot to give us our take-out order, so patrons need to gently remind them at times.

海外で日本と変わらない味を保つのは大変だと思いますが、ここは十分美味しいと思います。
日本より高額なのは仕方ないですね～。
ゆで卵が半分に切られてなくて1個丸ごとで中が冷たいとか、そんな些細な事も我慢出来ます。
それでいて、星5に出来ない何か引っ掛かる所が有るんです。

It's the worst ramen we have ever tasted. The broth has this weird smell you don't want to finish your food. The servers were not wearing uniform and not familiar with the menu. For a price of 400-600 per person, it is not worth it. It's a hidden place and should stay hidden forever! I will never ever go back to this place. If someone invited you here for lunch or dinner, you should run!
An all time favorite spot to dine with family, for a date, or even solo!

The Truffle Ramenof Oyasumi is my all-time #1 ramen in the Philippines (yes better than Mendokoro). The soup is super rich, the noodles are cooked perfectly, and the spinach, chashu and tamago are pefrect touches.
More than the ramen, this place just also exudes authentic Japanese vibes - from the open kitchen, ramen bar and the great service!

there is no service water, their drink is so expensive for a sprite that is not even canned 50 pesos for something u can buy on sari sari store and they don’t provide service water!!!! worst experience so far. Their ramen was ok tho but nothing special. We pay 950 for this? not worth it there’s much more ramen house who can give best experience than their service + their karaage is not well cooked it was rawwww
Was craving for something Japanese and was happy to find this place. Had the dry noodles that you had to dip in a soup and okonomiyaki.
Been to multiple Sachi branches, and this branch is by far the only bad one 😅

They fight in front of customers 🤣 like blaming each other (something wrong happened but me and my friends didn't know what) and they were all hurrying which i think caused the mess they were in 🤦♀️ they don't even bother checking on tables until we had to ask for tissues and utensils. Also food is bland for some reason.
That would be the last time I'd eat there. Never again.

I'm here because I was craving a yakisoba and takoyaki... Takoyaki was ok. But the soba of this yakisoba is rubbery and too hard to chew. I could feel every bit of saltiness. Good luck kidney. It looks like it's been exposed the whole day. Not to mention the older sever girl who is a blonde and a bit chubby grumpy was all over the place. She is having a bad day and that includes talking to customers. The way she bumped her body on to the chairs and table foot with a frown. I'm so disgusted now with this chain. No, not even delicious anymore. Too salty too rubbery. Staffs are grumpy. You will be afraid to order.

平日のお昼過ぎで、ちょうど空いている時間だったかな〜と思いますが、とても快適でした

Consistent naman ang Ramen Nagi sa lahat ng napuntahan kong branch. Same rules, same atmosphere, same treatment. Ramen Nagi never disappoints me. Kahit medyo maliit ‘yung dine in place sa Solenad, may al fresco naman sila kaya marami pa rin ang maa-accommodate. Very polite din ang mga staff.

Menya ippondo is one of our Favorite place Ramen in Makati🥰 Delicious food, Accomodating staff clean place and so on🥰 we will always come back here always!♥️
Price of the food in here is cheap but the taste was so good. Will definitely comeback again to this place
還不錯的日本餐廳，單價一課都350以上，有日式料理，生魚片、拉麵、丼飯。我點鰻魚飯非常好吃😋當然價格就不怎麼親民了。但可以保證是好吃的。整體而言還是滿意度高highly Recommendation.大家不妨試試
Everything tastes so good for an affordable price. With the serving size and taste, the price is worth it. My personal favorite if their ramen with a lot of flavor choices.

Good place to have japanese ramen and gyōza. We had our dinner here.
You get what you paid for in this restaurant located in the market place. I can only recommend the donut (PhP50/6pcs, see photo). The quality of ramen, takoyaki, okonomiyaki, gyoza are as low as its price, super cheap. The restaurant is obviously understaffed and looks like they don't have an efficient system to take good care of their customers.

Price is cheap for an authentic Japanese food. But the Management should take care of the swarm of flies while you are eating. Flies can contaminate food and can transmit disease. Because of the flies, you will not enjoy eating.
Ryuma's slogan "Mura at Masarap" indeed. But don't expect first class service, the service is a bit slow.And soda cost P50 and beer around P50+ but the rest of the food cost P120 below. Food and drinks from outside aren't allowed.One of my fave resto in Paseo de Sta.Rosa.
Authentic Japanese food with reasonably priced lunch options.
Haven't even tried the food yet but the menu is enormous! In any case, don't come for the food, come to experience the explosion of technicolor baubles and mirror balls. You'll feel like you're in a crazy Chinese Japanese disco located in your elderly kleptomaniac grandmother's front room!
